No puedo crear JCo Destination - (Can't create JCo Destination)
Amigos,
Cuando intento crear la conexion aparece el siguiente error
Please choose another name for the new JCo destination. The defined name 'PRDjr' is used in the SLD.
Espero alguien me pueda ayudar.
Saludos.
saludos

Hello,
I registered my J2EE 7.10 in the central SLD (sldmain.wdf.sap.corp:53000) successfully and created JCO destinations WD_RF_METADATA_DEST + WD_MODELDATA_DEST there. But the deployment of a WD application using Adaptive RFC fails because the above JCO destinations are not found (or access to SLD fails at all?). I didn't find any documentaion on how exactly the 2 destinations must be configured. On the central SLD there's no test/ping function for JCO-destinations! Could it be that my WD-deployer still tries to access a local SLD?
<b>Root Cause</b>
The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:
<b>com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Failed to resolve JCO destination name 'WD_RFC_METADATA_DEST' in the SLD. No such JCO destination is defined in the SLD.</b>

Thanks and regards,
JensJen,
Edit your JCo destinations and make sure you have Metadata as data type. I am guessing you are getting this error becuase you might have selected Application data as data type.
Hope this helps -

Can't create JCO connection in Portal7 for ESS1.0
Hi,
I am in the Process of setting up ESS/MSS Rel 1.0 in Portal 7. The Portal is a WebAS ABAP+JAVA system.
First step after installing Portal, I configured the SLD and created the Technical systems. The sld is running and I have tested the sld from the Content Administrator->WebDynpro-> check SLD. It results sld successfully tested and I am able to start the sld also.
After that I deployed the Business packages for ESS/MSS and selfservices via SDM.
Now I am trying to create the JCO connection in the Content Administrator->WebDynpro->create/maintain JCO Connections, it throws the following error

ThanksHi,
I am running Netweaver 7 and ERP2005.
J2EE support pack is 9. The sap note that you mentioned is for NW2004 and our system is running on NW2004s.
Now I am trying to reconfigure the sld. In case if you can suggest me another solution, I will be very happy to try that out...
Thanks for your reply

Creating a destination queue programatically
Is there any way to create a Destination Queue for a Connection Factory through my Java program, if I do not want to do it through the Admin console?
Specifically, is there an API to create a JMS queue?
Thanks.What do you mean by creating Queue for ConnectionFactory? ConnectionFactory is to create connection to the JMS server.
JMS provides methods like createTopic and createQueue but they are for converting provider specific name into Topic or Queue object for destinations already existing. One can not create physical destinations through these methods. Exception is for temporary destinations. Methods are createTemporaryQueue and createTemporaryTopic. Their life period is that of the connection. They will be garbage collected when the connection is closed.

[WLST offline]: Cannot create distributed destination
We have a small problem with WLST and distributed destinations. I have made the following code:
readDomain ('< our domain path >/Demo8')
# Check that the queue exists
ls ('/JMSServer/cgJMSServer1/JMSQueue')
create ('myQueue1','JMSDistributedQueue')
cd ('JMSDistributedQueue')
cd ('myQueue1')
set ('JNDIName','myjndi')
create ('member1','JMSDistributedQueueMember')
cd ('JMSDistributedQueueMember')
cd ('member1')
set ('JMSQueue','queue1')
cd ('..')
cd ('..')
UpdateDomain()
The problems is, that the command "set ('JMSQueue','queue1')" fails.
Does anyone have an example of a successful WLST configuration of Distributed Destinations?
The error message from my script is:
Error: setJMSQueue() failed.
Error: set() failed.
Traceback (innermost last):
File "scr.py", line 19, in ?
File "initWls.py", line 46, in set

Your help will really be appreciated....
Kind regards,
HenrikThe best way to create distributed destinations is to create physical destinations in single server mode and then create more servers and a cluster. wlst offline will automatically create distribued destinations and members. Considering that the recommended JMS architecture is homogeneous, there is little need to do it manually. An example:
readTemplate('c:/bea813/weblogic81/common/templates/domains/medrec.jar')
cd('JMSServer/MedRecJMSServer')
q=create('newQueue', 'JMSQueue')
q.setJNDIName('newQueue')
cd('/')
create('newServer1', 'Server')
create('newServer2', 'Server')
create('newCluster', 'Cluster')
assign('Server', 'newServer1,newServer2', 'Cluster', 'newCluster')
writeDomain('d:/temp/domains/813/medrec/medrec_0720')
closeTemplate(); -
Create JCO destination option not available
Dear All,
I am trying to make a JCO connection in CE.
However the buttons for
"Create JCo Destination","Maintain JCo Destinations" are disabled.
The status for built-in JCO destinations WD_MODELDATA_DEST
WD_RFC_METADATA_DEST is shown as unknown.
The "Enable" button is also disabled.
Also i am getting the error "Connection to System Landscape Directory (SLD) could not be opened successfully".
Can anyone please help me in this.
Thanks and regards,
Mayuresh.Hi Mayuresh,
In nwa go to Configuration Management->Infrastructure->SLD Data Supplier Connection->Destinations.
Create a Destination.
Ping the destination to check if it is successful.
After that you can create a JCO Connection.

- points rewarded for helpful solutionHi,
The Following Procedure Follow To Create JCO Destinations.
First You Configure SLD Correctly.If You Have ECC And BW.You Maintaing Two WEBAS ABAP Systems.
You Create WEB AS ABAP System In SLD And Maintain Connection Properties Of ECC.And
Similarly For BW Also.
If You Want To Create JCO Destinations.You Go To Login Portal
Content Administration->Webdynpro->Create JCO Destinatiion
A.General Data -> Specify Model Name,Client And JCO Pool Configuration
B.Specify J2EEE Cluster
C.Destination type
Data Type-> Application DataModel,Dictionary MetaDataMetadata
Destination Type->Load Balancing Or Single Server
D.Specify Either Application Server Or Message Server
E.SecurityUsername,password,confirm password,language
F.SummaryWhole Information

Message Servers not appearing when creating JCO Destination
Hello Experts,
I had created a System Object in the Portal system landscape based on System Template (Template) and choosed SAP system with load balancing (to connect to R/3 server).
Given parameters to Connector, ITS, WAS and User management, when i test the connection test on these settings, All are successful except the connector settings. but when run the transaction code(System Administration -> support-> portal runtime-> SAP Transaction) by selecting this message server, it is executing.
And i want this message server to be selected when creating JCO destination.
This System Object is not showing in the message servers dropdown box selection when creating the JCO destinations.
What may be the issue.
Could anyone help me in solving this.
Thanks in advance

I have not read all you wrote, so I may have missed some points. As I understand it, you installed FP 10 on IE7, but it won't play any Flash content?
Try this
download the FP uninstaller from http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157
close all browser windows, then run the uninstaller
download the offline ActivX installer for Internet Explorer from http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe
close all browser windows, then run the installer

I am working with a trial version of Dreamweaver CS3. In code view, when highlighting a collapsed tag and using the Properties Panel to change the class, the entire tag expands. A comment on the same line as the closing tag is moved to the next line.
