Aunque mucho me temo que el problema es que el número de serie que tienes es el de una actualización, (desde una versión anterior), no de un producto nuevo completo.
Es necesario que tengas instalado en el PC (?) una versión anterior, para comprobarlo, en ocasiones vale con introducir el CD de instalación de esa versión.

Hola, alguien puede ayudarme donde puedo descargar el adobe acrobat 7 standard, ya que lo instale en una pc y me dice que la activacion del servidor no esta disponible y que lo puedo descargar de un sitio donde tengo que poner mi usuario y contraseña pero al llegar al listado no aparece Adobe Acrobat 7 Std en la lista, o diganme como puedo activar mi producto para poder usarlo.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard Serial Number

I puchased a copy of Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard that came with a Dell Vostro 1710. I have since stopped using that Laptop and moved the Adobe Acrobat to a workstation with is a older Dell Dim 8400. I am now replacing that workstation with a New Dell XPS 8500 and wish to move the AA 9.0 Standard to this workstation.
Somewhere along the line I lost the Serial Number but have the install CD. I pulled the serial number from the Dell Dim 8400 and inserted it into the install for the Dell 8500 but get "Invalid Serial Number".
I'm only running the software on one system....do I need to deactivate on the older system first? I did not have this problem when I moved it from the older Laptop to the older workstation.

The serial number might be on the system, but only in encrypted form. As long as you registered or can provide proof of purchase, the Adobe folks may be able to help.

Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro Freezing After Install on Brand New Dell Optiplex 580

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a solution to an issue I am having.
I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 onto a brand new Dell Optiplex 580 running Windows XP (AntiVirus was not installed yet). When launching, it freezes 3-5 seconds after opening and I need to open Task Manager to kill the process.
I have tried:
Repair install
Deleteing Preferences folder and letting the program recreate it
Manually starting and restarting the FLEXnet service
Running in compatibility mode
Applying the updates for Adobe Acrobat Pro (up to 8.2.4)
Running Adobe without background services
Manually uninstalling and reinstalling

Another possibility to check is the free space in the TEMP folder. I believe Acrobat uses the TEMP folder for temporary storage. You might even consider increasing the size of the TEMP folder. At least this is something else to check.

Adobe Acrobat (OEM/Bundled?) questions

We have several older Dell PCs that had Adobe Acrobat 6-8 installed on them from Dell (I assume it's an OEM type license.) But reading through the EULAs, I can't find any mention of OEM or anything. Are these truly OEM copies? We received the actual Acrobat CDs with the computers. As we are beginning to decomission these older machines, we have two questions -
1. Can we install these copies of Acrobat on newer PCs, or are they truly OEM and stick with the machine that is now aging out and useless, and
2. Can we use these licenses as the basis for upgrade licenses to Acrobat X on new machines?

AFAIK there wouldn't be a difference in the number of computers you could install it on, or the ability to move from one system to another...
As for the second question, you're probably okay but only Adobe Customer Support could answer for sure.
Worst case, you could order the upgrades and then if they don't work out for some reason you could just return them under Adobe's 30-day refund policy.

On what platform/OS? What do you mean by does not work? Did you reenter the SN and such when you installed it? Does Acrobat open at all (this is related to the question about does not work)? If so, then go to Help and do the updates. If you can't open Acrobat at all you can try the following (Windows assumed):
1. Go to Start>Control Panel>Programs & Features (or the equivalent), select Acrobat, and do a repair.
2. Download the updates from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows and install the updates in order (unless indicated where you can skip -- downloading from the last to the oldest will let you know which you can skip). You only need to reboot after the last update.
Something similar will likely work on a MAC.

Mi sistema operativo es Windows Xp profesional sp2, he intentado instalar Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Español, y no puedo desistalar otra versión igual que tenia en ingles, el error que me da es que ya existe otra versión igual, lo raro es que era en ingles, lo he intentado de todas formas, panel de control y de forma manual, pero nada es imposible al menos para mi.

En la práctica, sin embargo, existen programas comerciales my baratos que generan una copia del documento PDF sin restricción alguna en cuestión de segundos.

Malas son estas fechas para contactar con Soporte, deberías haber intentado solucionarlo al principio, a modo de prueba los programas funcionan sólo 30 días.

No me quedó claro porque no puedes hacerlo a traves de Internet, al marcar la tecla de Activar, qué ocurre?
Elimina por favor la segunda captura de tu mensaje anterior que muestra públicamente a todo el que lo vea, el número de serie completo.
Esa opción está pensada (activar por teléfono cuando no tienes acceso a Internet).

Por qué no puedo instalar Acrobat X Pro en Windows 8?

Recientemente adquirí una laptop Dell Inspiron 15R con Windows 8. Ayer adquirí la Creative Suite 6 y pude instalar todos los programas que necesitaba (Illustrator, InDesign y Photoshop), pero no me dejó instalar Acrobat Pro X; me decía que no era posible instalar Acrobat y me dio el resumen de errores que aparece más abajo.
Como antecedentes, instalé Acrobat 8 provisionalmente en lo que podía conseguir la Suite completa, pero antes de instalar esta última desinstalé y desactivé Acrobat 8. Mi pantalla tiene una resolución de 1366 x 768. Gracias por su ayuda.
