No purchased music showing up on iTunes 11.1.2

Since updating my iTunes to 11.1.2 the tab for my purchased music is blank, no matter what link I try to access it through. Apps and Books tabs do still appear. What's going on? I read several people with this same issue on the forum and syncing taking forever, which I also experienced! I guess another update will fix these troubles soon... They better!

It's not just you. My entire 'Purchased' window in the iTunes store is blank. I don't even get any tabs:
This appears to be only on one Mac of three, eunning 10.9. The other two - one running 10.9, one running 10.7.x - appear to behave normally.
The nonfunctional one is behind a rather controted corporate firewall and netnanny - I can't change that - but I didn't have this kind of problem with previous versions.

You did everything 'right' and yet in most cases such as you present, it turns out to be a bad SATA cable 99% of the time.
I, too, have a Late 2011 15" model and never had a problem with my SATA cable and my SSD. Most people don't. But then there are those few who do.
You can likely find a 'warrantied' cable on www.ifixit.com - however, I've never heard of anyone having problems with the much less expensive options on eBay!

Depending on what country that you are in you might be able to re-download past music purchases via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page - re-downloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
But if you only re-installed iTunes and you didn't remove the actual music from your computer, then it should still be on there, and you should be able to add it back into iTunes via File > Add Folder To Library - by default your iTunes content should have been stored under :
Windows 7 and Vista : \users\username\My Music\iTunes.
Windows XP : \user\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes.

iTunes Store purchases are treated a bit differently than other music in your library. If you have authorized music purchases from the iTunes store on your phone and your computer is authorized for that same account, you can transfer purchased tunes from the phone to the computer -- whether you purchased them on the iPhone or on the computer. My old computer died so I can't access my original iTunes. So I purchased the iTunes Match subscription in hopes of moving my music over to my other computer. Much of my music showed up but there is a lot that didn't -- including CDs that I burned to my original library. I've made sure to authorize my new computer -- so that's not the issue. How can I get my entire library over to the new computer?

Music can only be matched if it is actually in your library. If you subscribed to match on your old computer, then you should have access to them when you sign into match on your new computer.
If you did not have a backup, you will have lost them.

I got a new iphone 6 for christmas and i've been trying to sync my music from my iphone 5 for a trip, but when i go to sync music all it has is the u2 album and two other songs. and when i look up the album/songs i want to resync it says purchased but i have no way to sync it because it doesnt show up in the purchased sections.

To: rachd_1325: You need to be signed in to the iTunes Store with the same Apple ID that was used to purchase the music, apps, etc. When you are signed in to that Apple ID, the music, apps, films, etc. that were purchased with that Apple ID will appear under purchased.
Go to Settings > iTunes and App Store and make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID used to purchase the music. If not, you must sign in with that Apple ID. Then scroll down and make sure the appropriate items you desire and toggled ON.
Afterwards, go to to your iTunes Store app and you will find the music you have purchased will be shown under "Purchased".

purchased music is tied to the iTunes store account (Apple ID) used to purchase the content and cannot be transferred.
however, a single iTunes can be authorized for up to five Apple IDs. so, all your daughter needs to do is authorize her iTunes for your Apple ID along with her own. you can use home sharing or an external HD or burn the tunes to disc to transfer them to her computer/user account on your computer.

It may have been deleted. Nonetheless, you can recreate it:
-Go into iTunes
-Click File > New Smart Playlist...
-On the first dropdown menu in the Smart playlist creator, select "Purchased"
-For the second dropdown menu, make sure "is true" is selected, thus recreating your Purchased playlist

Not all are listed on the computer. But it was listed on the ipod itune purchased so I tried to download them again and its downloading right now...and didn't re-charge me.

ITunes Music Download Issues - Purchased Music Not Displaying in iTunes

I am having trouble with iTunes. This is what the problem is:
1) Purchased music / TV from iTunes.
2) Paused downloads.
3) Closed iTunes.
4) Later re-opened iTunes
5) Went to Store > Downloads
When I do this, the media which I have purchased, but not yet downloaded is not listed. At the bottom of this screen, it reads "62 iTunes Downloads Available." When I click on the download button, or go to Store > Check for Available Downloads, I receive the error "Unable to check for available downloads: the iTunes store is temporarily unavailable."
This has been happening yesterday and today. On two seperate networks. And this is also happening for my wife, who receives the same error on her iMac.
The odd thing is that I CAN purchase new music. If I purchase an album right now, the purchase goes through and the download begins. This indicates that I AM connected to iTunes. However, if I pause the downloads, close iTunes, and try to resume the downloads later (or download items that have been purchased, but not downloaded), than iTunes is unable to make the connection to the store.
My internet connection is working just fine. And as I said, I am able to connect in certain circumstances, but not others. Any suggestions? This seems to be a software flaw.

I am having a similar problem. I purchased an iTunes Essential package but only half of the songs downloaded. I have the 34 iTunes songs are available for download in the download file but nothing happens when I click on the button, no error message, no nothing.
I have been in touch with Apple and have gotten their perfunctory responses all of which indicate that I have the problem not them. I asked for a refund for the songs purchased and billed but not received, but no response to that age old customer service solution.
The last fix from them was to backup my iTunes files uninstall iTunes and then reinstall it. If that doesn't work they offered to provide me with a phone number for a customer service call that I might have to pay for!! I have decided not to uninstall and reinstall the software. I'm madder than **** and I will continue to send them problem message after problem message for as long as it takes to get them to refund my money.

Purchased music off iTouch from iTunes... Disappeared?

I just recently reset my iTouch and erased everything on it to restore it and fix all of my music information (albums, titles, etc...) because everything was scrambled and uncategorized and what not... I have purchased music from iTunes using my iTouch and now all of those songs I bought are gone. I understand that purchasing the music directly from the iTouch downloads the songs onto the iTouch harddrive so they obviously got erased when I reset it. I figured theres got to be a way to get my songs I bought back from iTunes but I have no idea what to do??? If anyone has had this problem or can help me out I would really appreciate any help at all! Thanks alot.

go to your account in the itunes store, you should find your purchase history there. next to the songs you have purchased there should be a 'report problem' button, which will allow you to contact apple. they normally respond pretty quickly saying that your purchases will be available to download next time you log in to itunes.
