No Reader 9.1 support to transfer to Palm OS devices

Based on the discussions on this forum and the Palm OS reader forum i seems there is no way to move DE to my Palm although all of the hype says you shouldbe able to. I tried to use 7.1+ but it would not let me activate the Desktop or my Palm device. Has any one heard of a resolution of potential release date for making the movement of documents to a Palm device available. May be it is time to look for a different format to read on my Palm E2. Not sure which forum this should be added to but this seems to be the one with the most exposure of various devices which cannot read DE documents.

The local text echo component must be being interpretted as a being a screen reader.

I have one clarification on the GSS-TSIG supported zone transfer in MS-DNS.
I tried the following scenario in zone transfer,
Configure my DNS server(supports GSS-TSIG algorithm for Zone transfer) as primary for a zone ‘test.com’
Configure MS-DNS as secondary server for the zone ‘test.com’.
Question : I could not find any provisioning MS-DNS to configure the Secondary zone in secure way in GSS-TSIG.
My clarification ,
Is MS-DNS supports GSS-TSIG supported Zone transfer ?
If MS-DNS does not supports GSS-TSIG for Zone transfer then how I can do secure Zone transfer to MS-DNS ?
If MS-DNS supports GSS-TSIG for Zone transfer, What are steps to be followed to configure a primary zone and secondary zone for GSS-TSIG?

I have implemented RFC3645 in DDNS functionality for my DNS and DHCP servers. The
servers are supported in both Linux and windows platforms. This implementation
is working fine for both DNS and DHCP are in same platform, but does not work
in cross platform. <o:p></o:p>

I had gotten a similar problem, except with "provider services", i believe, but i solved it by copying sqlite3.dll from E:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support to E:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support. doing that solved my first problem, but now i have been getting the error described in this topic (unable to load dataclass info... etc.). i tried reinstalling itunes (i already had 9.1.1, and thats what i reinstalled) by using the method described on apples site (using the "remove programs" tool in the control panel) and then downloading and installing itunes. when i opened it again, i still got the same error, and just now i got an error saying "the instruction at "0x00aadb6b" referenced memory at "0x00000008". the memory could not be read" it gave me the option to cancel and debug, or to press ok and terminate the program. I tried pressing cancel, and the popup went away but nothing else happened. a minute later the popup was back, so i pressed ok and itunes quit. Upon opening Itunes again, i got the very same error. sorry for the long post, but its really been bugging me. thanks for any help you might give, and if you need anymore info, feel free to contact me.

I solved the problem. I used Internet Explorer, 64-bit. If I use Internet Explorer 32-bit the PDF-file displays in browser. If I use Internet Explorer 64-bit Adobe Reader X opens the PDF-file outside browser.

How to determine (in bulk) whether a document has OCR text and what reader versions are supported?

I've inherited a task which has spanned many years and which was not well thought out over the transitions. At least three project teams have scanned and stored tens of thousands of documents to PDF. What was discovered subsequently was that the project teams did not apply a uniform standard for which versions of Adobe would be supported in each PDF, and that not all documents appear to have been OCR'ed as part of the scan process.
This has resulted in two major problems. First, PDFs which support all Reader versions are bloated and consuming significant amounts of storage; second, the automated processing tools which depend upon the OCR text are failing once they pass the front and rear cover sheets (which do contain extractable text). I need to know if there is a way that PDFs can be bulk scanned to determine which Reader versions are supported (say 8.0 to current), and if the OCR'ed / extractable text is not just limited to the first few and last pages of each PDF.
I have been manually fixing individual files with Adobe Acrobat 9.0. I can force Adobe to re-OCR and save the files, but I would rather not have to re-process the existing bulk that we have unless absolutely necessary. If I could determine which ones need fixing and just processing those it will save man years of work.

What I meant by supporting a version of Reader is that I don't need the files to be fully backwards compatible all the way back to say the first few versions of Adobe Reader. (There are likely limitations on that much backwards compatibility, anyway.) One of the scanners that was used apparently was set for full backwards compatibility, to the extent possible, for every PDF that it generated. Some of those PDFs are huge, commonly 300-400MBs in size. If I open them in Acrobat 9.0, limit the backwards compatibility to Adobe Reader 8.0 and forward, then resave the file, the size is often significantly reduced.
As to how it is measured, there is something in the PDF itself that indicates a minimum version for Adobe Reader for compatibility purposes. When you select for compatibility in Acrobat during the save process I mentioned, you get to pick the version at which you want to stop -- so if you selected 8.0, it would be compatible with 8.0, 9.0, and so on.

I am interested to know from which Reader version PAdES Part3 is supported.

In Adobe Reader X, which option does in fact select the PAdES Part3. I see in Digital Signatures Advanced Preferences, as Default Signature Signing Format only two options : PKCS#7 - Detached and CAdES Equivalent.

Read Out Loud support?

In absence of an Android device in this house-hold, a quick question here:
Does Adobe Reader for Android support 'Read Out Loud' natively? (I don't see it mentioned in online-docs?)
or does it only work in conjunction with Android's build-in accessibility features?

If you have a TTS engine for this language installed on your computer, and the document is properly tagged, then I believe it should work.

Adobe Reader 9.3 supports PDF/A-3b structure?

Adobe Reader 9.3 don't recognize the standard PDF/A-3B (ISO 19005-3).
However if I open the file with version XI, Acrobat Reader validate the the file accord a PDF/A-3b standard.
Do Adobe Reader 9.3 support PDF/A-3b structure? And PAdES digital signature?.

It should be no suprise that the file is not specially recognised.
No version of Adobe Reader validates PDF/A. They just display files according to a flag in the file.
A PDF/A-3 file will display in Reader 9 without errors, but may not follow the strict display rules of PDF/A if these are important to you.

Does reader for iOS support text reflow?

I have a number of tagged PDFs that I created using Acrobat on a Windows machine, and transferred them to my iPhone. Does Reader on iOS support text reflow so that I can increase the font and read my document? The only option I see is to zoom in, but since it maintains the full page formatting, I then need to "move around" the page to actually read the text. Looking at the full page, the text is too small.

Hi Dennis, how are you going to find out if there is enough demand? Do you think everybody knows what text reflow means? And do you think every person that needs it will create an account (just like I had to do) to comment in this community requesting the feature? Text reflows is such a useful feature that it should be available by default in all smartphone platforms iOS, Windows and Android. I know it is available in Android and that's why I downloaded the app in my iPhone but I was quite disappointed to find out that it is not available on the iPhone. I'm sure that if in the next update of the iOS adobe app text reflow is included (and if you let the public know about it) then a lot more people will download the app. Reading pdf in an screen is not so pleasant but text reflow makes it really easy.

E-mail reader does not support MIME: please upgrade

After receiving an HTML weekly online newsletter with no problems for months, I suddenly got a LISTSERV message asking me to confirm that my e-mail account actually does exist. The message said the error was this: Your e-mail reader does not support MIME. Please upgrade.
Since I have the latest version of Leopard (which I sincerely wish I had NEVER installed, but that's another topic), I don't know what I am supposed to upgrade to!
In addition to this, when other people forward me e-mail messages, the series of e-mails they forward now appears as a MIME attachment. I can get to it by double-clicking on the attachment, but it's a pain.

On the side label find the model number.. A1084 for example is old. It will not work.
The new one A1392 and the earlier N wireless A1264 will both work.

I want to achieve 10 MHz output transfer rate on 6534 device. I need to contunuously generate non-repeating data. But when I execute the CVI sample program DOdoubleBufPatternGen653x, I cannot exceed the 1 MHz transfer rate (iPgTB = -3, iReqInt = 20), I get a -10843 error. Parameter oldDataStop is set to 1. Each halfbuffer contains 100000 points, buffer - 200000. My system is Pentium IV 2GHz, 512 MB RAM. What should I change to achieve 10 MHz transfer rate? Is it possible in this mode?

It should be possible, but it may take some extra thought and effort on your part due to the limitations and/or use case of your system. I would first recommend that you see the NI Tutorial "Maximizing the Performance of the NI 6534 Digital I/O Device" available online at . Based upon the error you are getting, it sound like you are not getting sufficient PCI bus bandwidth. Are you perhaps reading this data from disk (that would roughly double the PCI bus bandwidth required, or halve the transfer rate that you can expect to achieve) or using other PCI devices that are contending for bandwidth (potentially video cards, sound cards, network cards, dr
ive controllers...)? Some of these PCI devices need substantial bandwidth, others will grab the bus periodically for small transfers (sound cards, seemingly unused network cards forwarding broadcast packets...), and these could potentially interfere with your ability to stream data continuously at high rates. You might try disabling unused devices in your device manager. If you continue to have difficulties, please forward us more details about your system, what it is doing, and how your program works (are you streaming data from disk, network, or are you generating it on the fly).
