NO REPAIR FOR 2 MONTHS PLEASE HELP

Hi All, I am revolted by the service Lenovo is providing, I switched from dell to this company to realize that dell was so much better. I have a problem with starting up my newly bought X1carbon second generation. I was told is was a motherboard issue. I have upgrade to the highest warrenty spec a layman can get, 5 years NBD, protect your drive, accidental, you name it. Spent nearly 30 percent of the Laptop price for these services. When I asked for a repair from Lenovo, they requested me to wait as there is no motherboard available in the UK, without telling me when the motherboard is going to arrive. I called the second time, and was told that I will need to wait for 1 MONTH!? What the **bleep** am I going to do in that one month without my workstation? Should I use it as a chopping board? If Lenovo is providing a NBD service, Lenovo should be responsible to have the parts available when needed, why are the customer the one waiting for the service?? I requested for a system replacement, in contract its a CRU. I was instructed to deal with a person in the complaint resolution owner team. She repeatedly told me that I was not entitled for a system replacement, saying that the machine was bought from malaysia, and can only get a repair in UK. This is not true at all as there is not such line stated on the agreement at all, but she insisted. Long story cut short, after a lot of email ping pongs, I was instructed to wait for another week until the motherboard arrives in the uk which is on the 09/07/2015. It has passed 5 days now, and there is no emails, no calls whatsoever from lenovo about my repair. All I have is that my emails are ignored so many times. I think one of the strategy Lenovo uses is to lengthen the time by replying very late. The customer support that Lenovo is providing is so bad, I want to make a formal complaint to someone with authority. If anyone can help me with this I would be very grateful.  Please excuse my tone, I am just very frustrated. I am without my laptop for nearly 2 months now.  Thanks,Bastian

You need to pay attention to the conditions of IWS coverage.  Particularly this....

    I have just received a shock data bill from vodafone. Apparently my iPhone has been using between 500 MB - 1GB a day for the last month.
    I have had the phone for almost 18 months and cannot work out why this has suddenly happened. I have not downloaded a new app or changed my usage at all.
    I checked the phone and it states that it has sent 20.7 GB of data, and received 1.7 since last reset (October).
    I only use the phone for calls, texts, and social networking. I have wifi at home and barely use cellular data.
    I contacted Vodafone as I wish to dispute the bill (I am happy to pay for what I have used, but I cannot see how I have used this!)
    They state that if I can show it is a software issue, they will write off the £750. At first they suggested I send it to them and they would check if it was software or a fault, until they realised it was out of warranty, then they said they can't look at it unless I pay £150.
    They suggested giving apple a call, but I looked on website and to call them will be £25 and I am not sure if it will resolve the issue.
    What can I do? The phone is still on iOS 6.0, I realise the data issue could possibly be resolved by updating, but am reluctant to do this before the phone is checked out (if I can get apple to check it out). For the time being I have restricted all data to wifi.
    Is it likely to be a fault/software issue? I have not sent any files anywhere etc. If I drive to my nearest apple store (at least an hour away) will they look at it/are they likely to help/admit it is software and give me some proof for vodafone?
    Please help!!

    Contact the Apple store directly (or Verizon) as Apple (nor Verizon for that matter) monitor these forums.

    Wait for advice on repairing a damaged filesystem.  Forceshutdown stops processs in mid-stream and leaves some parts not-valid.
    Do not proceed until you get that avice.

    First we need to know which one of the 9 different models of MacBook you have. To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report if you’re running 10.7 Lion). When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier and post it back here.
    The Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody and the Late 2009 model 6,1 and Mid 2010 model 7,1 White Unibody have a Mini DisplayPort. The Early 2006 model 1,1 through Early 2008 model 4,1s plus the Early and Mid 2009 model 5,2s have Mini-DVI ports. Each would take a different adapter to connect with the TV.

    I've tried my best to troubleshoot. . . opening in safe mode nothing seems to work.

    Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

    Using those instructions you may also be able to select PayPal if that is allowed in your country.

    In general different users will be given different authorizations based on their role in the orgn.
    We create ROLES and assign the Authorization and TCODES for that role, so only that user can have access to those T Codes.
    USe SUIM and SU21 T codes for this.
    Much of the data in an R/3 system has to be protected so that unauthorized users cannot access it. Therefore the appropriate authorization is required before a user can carry out certain actions in the system. When you log on to the R/3 system, the system checks in the user master record to see which transactions you are authorized to use. An authorization check is implemented for every sensitive transaction.
    If you wish to protect a transaction that you have programmed yourself, then you must implement an authorization check.
    This means you have to allocate an authorization object in the definition of the transaction.
    For example:
    program an AUTHORITY-CHECK.
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT <authorization object>
    ID <authority field 1> FIELD <field value 1>.
    ID <authority field 2> FIELD <field value 2>.
    ID <authority-field n> FIELD <field value n>.
    The OBJECT parameter specifies the authorization object.
    The ID parameter specifies an authorization field (in the authorization object).

    Take the help of the basis Guy and create and use.

    It's not uncommon for it to not work the first time and sometimes, you have to try it a few times. Turn off your antivirus software and your firewall while you are trying to restore the iPad. Enable them again after you restore.
    If that still won't work, post back with detailed information as to what exactly does happen as you go through the process.
