No repeat option available for the process step in process chain

If the process chain failed at the ODS activation level, generally the repeat option will be available for activation and to continue the next step. But in some cases the repeat option will not be available for the process step.
Is there any process to get the repeat option in the process chain?

You can change this in RSPC > Settings > Maintain process types > Loading (or process of your interest) > put the check mark for Repeatable.

  • Is the iphone panorama pic option available for the ipad, if so where can I find it?

A friend recently showed me her iphone 5 panoroma pic app that comes with the phone. We thought my almost new ipad would have it but it does not. Any ideas on how I can find and install that app on my ipad. Preferably to interface with my apple camera app as on option just like the iphone. I have the latest software updates installed.

No, but there are several iPad Apps which can provide this capability. Check the App Store.

I don't think that you would be able to achieve this in the Library.

what is the differences in format options available for partition?

Select the drive in Disk Utility, click on the Erase or Partition tab, select the Format type: dropdown menu that will list your format options. For OS X the only option you should use is Mac OS Extended, Journaled. This is the standard format for OS X drives.
Then there are options for Windows - MSDOS (standard FAT format) or ExFAT (an advanced FAT system with most of the characteristics of NTFS.) OS X can read and write with either filesystem. NTFS is only readable, not writeable, by OS X.

When will AR Andriod APP have the 2-sided print option available for a local network duplex enabled printing?

    I solved my problem!
Since I suspected routing or firewall problems inside the LAN, I went in to the router setup and did some in depth snooping. On an advanced menu of the wireless section was a one-line setting and check-box that said "Block Wireless Bridging". According to the manual, this setting "blocks wireless clients from communicating with other wireless clients on the LAN side of the Gateway."
I unchecked it and restarted the router and now all macs are screen and file sharing.

  • Is there doc for the exact steps to publish to iOS?

I am looking for the EXACT steps for publishing to iOS. the Xcode doc talks about "making an archive" but that doesn't seem to work because it is specific to apps made entirely in Xcode. I can get the IPA to an iPad or iPhone attached to the Mac but that's it. certainly I could FEDEX a device to somebody else for them to see it but no, that is not a solution.
this link (Publishing to iOS devices using Director 12) does NOT have enough information. there are steps missing. for example if you make a Provisioning file on developer.apple.com that version will fail showing a yellow icon when dragging it to the Organizer.
maybe there is a link that I am missing. please help.

    Hello webdesignsf,
I’m in the same situation as you – I’m just about to finish my first iPad app, and will be submitting it to the Apple iStore very soon.
( Can someone please verify this procedure below )
As soon as I figure it all out, I’ll write down the steps.
    regard Milky.
    In the meantime, I’m guessing…..
Get a distribution certificate & make a distribution provisioning profile
    Create icons and screen shots
(??? maybe  -   Setup for embedded icons – edit the info.plist to reference a unique icons - see the bottom of this message for more info ???)
Make your .ipa file with Director 12 (using the above distribution certificate – provisioning profile)
Change the extension of your .ipa file – from .ipa into a .zip   (you just rename the file!)
Unzip this .zip file –  (this will create a folder called ‘Payload’)
Find the ‘Payload’ folder – inside you’ll now see a .APP file!
Highlight this .APP file – and with the right mouse button - select ‘Compress’
(This will convert the .APP file into a .zip file – this is what Apple calls a binary file)
Navigate to the iTunes Connect area of the iOS Dev Centre
Download and install the ‘Application Loader’ utility from the iOS Dev Center  -  (I think is's now a part of xCode too!)
Go to the Manage Your Apps page and click 'Add New App'
Fill out the forms describing your company and application
When asked upload the icons and screenshots
    Save the app description
Back on the Manage Your Apps page, select the app description you just created, and click the Ready to Upload Binary button
Fill out the Export compliance form
Your app should now be in a ‘Waiting for upload’ state in the manage your apps page
Now use the Application Loader utility to upload your binary file.
    Other Notes:-
There is a whole list of recommendations for getting apps approved by Apple - I'll write these down one day.
make sure your app is as small as you can get it, and make sure it’s fast to load up the first screen (3 seconds or less)

Guide for Apple App Store submissions | Adobe Developer Connection
There are loads of youTube videos that show submissions to the app store with other development systems,
but they are mostly the same, when it comes to setting up the distribution certificate etc...

Uploading your GameSalad game to Apple - YouTube
    Setup for embedded icons:-
Submitting icons and screenshots is a part of the app submission process.
But you may need to create a Director made ‘ipa’ file, with unique icons already embedded first ???  I just don't know yet???
(pallottadesign) wrote some instructions regarding this way back in May 2013 – I don’t know if this step is needed anymore – but I added it here in case....
Re: director 12 IOS publishing icon plist
pallottadesign May 1, 2013 6:17 AM (in response to ralph2511)
Editing a separate info.plist to reference your app icons is actually a better approach than altering the defaults within Otto.app.
    The procedure is simple:
Put your unique app icons in the same folder as your Director file. You can name these icons whatever you wish, or name them the same as the defaults in Otto.app, i.e. "projector_72x72.png" and "projector_57x57.png", or you can give them unique names.
Copy the info.plist file to the same folder as your Director file.
If you have given your icons unique names, open the info.plist file in Xcode and find the "Icon files" key. Edit "Item 0" and change the entry to the name of the 72x72 pixel png icon. Edit "Item 1" and change the entry to the name of the 57x57 pixel png icon.
    Save the info.plist file.
Within Director, open Publish Settings and in the "Files" tab, enable "Copy linked and dependent files." Click on "Add Dependent Files" and navigate to the folder with your unique icons. Select each one and make sure that the radio button is checked for each one.
In the iOS tab, select the "Info Plist Path" option and navigate to the location of your edited info.plist. Select the info.plist file in the dialog box and click "Choose."
Publish your iOS app and test. The icons should now have been embedded within your iOS app bundle.
You may be able to put the icons in an "images" folder within your app folder structure, but you will still have to use the "Copy linked and dependent files" and "Add Dependent Files" options to have that folder and the icons bundled within your iOS app.
If you intend to develop apps for the app store, you may need additional icons at larger sizes.

I have a hard time understanding why I can't contact support about THEIR problem. I plugged my iPhone into my pc. iTunes came up. It said there was an update available for the phone. I accepted that. Clicked on the "download only" because I didn't have the time to install it at that point. It downloaded but didn't stop. It continued to the 'backing up your iPhone' segment then froze. I waited at least an hour with no change. Finally I unplugged my phone..iTunes wasn't responding.I rebooted my pc then tried the same thing again. Same outcome even though I let it "Back Up" for 7-8 hrs while I slept. Same Story...............         iTunes 10.4.0.80 is the software I'm using. When my phone is 'plugged' in what I see on it's face is "Sync in Progress".....for hours!

    Error 1611
This error typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, this error may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Synced media like apps and music are not included in the iPod backup that iTunes makes. You can redownload iTunes purchases by:

  • Hi, Can anyone recommended software to import dvd to iMovies. I need to import about a dozen homemade DVD's and edit them into a single DVD comprising the 'best bits'. How best can I do this. I have an external hard drive available for the job

Hi, Can anyone recommended software to import dvd to iMovies. I need to import about a dozen homemade DVD's and edit them into a single DVD comprising the 'best bits'. How best can I do this. I have an external hard drive available for the job

You need to convert the VOB files in the TS-Folder of the DVD back to DV which iMovie is designed to handle. For that you need mpegStreamclip:
    http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-mac.html
which is free, but you must also have the  Apple mpeg2 plugin :
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/D2187Z/A/quicktime-mpeg-2-playback-component-f or-mac-os-x
(unless you are running Lion in which case see below))
    which is a mere $20.
Another possibility is to use DVDxDV:
    http://www.dvdxdv.com/NewFolderLookSite/Products/DVDxDV.overview.htm
    which costs $25.
For the benefit of others who may read this thread:
Obviously the foregoing only applies to DVDs you have made yourself, or other home-made DVDs that have been given to you. It will NOT work on copy-protected commercial DVDs, which in any case would be illegal.
And from the TOU of these forums:
    Keep within the Law
No material may be submitted that is intended to promote or commit an illegal act.
Do not submit software or descriptions of processes that break or otherwise ‘work around’ digital rights management software or hardware. This includes conversations about ‘ripping’ DVDs or working around FairPlay software used on the iTunes Store.
If you are running Lion or later:
    From the MPEG Streamclip homepage
The installer of the MPEG-2 Playback Component may refuse to install the component in Lion. Apple states the component is unnecessary in Lion onwards, however MPEG Streamclip still needs it. See this:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3381
To install the component in Lion, please download MPEG Streamclip 1.9.3b7 beta above; inside the disk image you will find the Utility MPEG2 Component Lion: use it to install the MPEG-2 Playback Component in Lion. The original installer's disk image (QuickTimeMPEG2.dmg) is required.
The current versions of MPEG Streamclip cannot take advantage of the built-in MPEG-2 functionality of Lion. For MPEG-2 files you still need to install the QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component, which is not preinstalled in Lion. (The same applies to Mountain Lion even though that has it preinstalled.) You don't have to install QuickTime 7.

  • Is there a faster hard drive available for the 1.83Ghz Dual Core MacMini?

Is there a faster hard drive available for the 1.83Ghz Dual Core MacMini? Since this is the slowest component of the whole system is there a way to upgrade to something faster (possibly a 7200RPM drive)?
    thanks,
    Jeff

    Ways to make it faster:
    1) Be sure you aren't running any Rosetta apps or drivers. Watch out for print drivers. You can use Utilities > Activity Monitor to spot the legacy stuff that uses Rosetta. (Make sure the pop-down menu at the top of the Activity Monitor window says "All Processes", not just "My processes".)
    2) Max your RAM to 2 Gigs. You can't go to 3 Gigs since you only have the CoreDuo CPU.
    3) Whatever hard drive you use, keep at least one-third of it empty. Obviously this will be easier with a large external firewire drive.
    4) 3.5 inch drives will be faster than 2.5 inch drives -- even at the same RPM. So again, external will be the way to go, since Minis can only take 2.5 inch internals.
If you want an external that stacks under the Mini, some examples are here:
    http://www.123macmini.com/accessories/guide/enclosures.html
(The NewerTech and WiebeTech models appear to have good reputations, though I have no personal experience with them.)
But again, all of the factors I mention above will affect performance.

  • [SOLVED] Why is there a PKGBUILD made available for the Android SDK?

Hello all my fellow Arch users.
I'm just curious as to WHY there's a PKGBUILD in the AUR made available for the Android SDK. I mean, it's already made available at the Android Developer's website, and the only things you'd need are Java, Python, and 32-bit application support, and correct me if I'm wrong, but usually you have the option to install those the moment you're selecting packages for Arch Linux while you're installing them.
I don't have anything against the PKGBUILD, it saved me a load of headaches trying to configure the SDK, and limited my pains to merely editing my .bashrc file to include the full path to the Android SDK tools and platform tools folders.
I find it strange. But then again, I find the concept of an i686-optimized GNU/Linux operating system that leaves all the major configuration to me that also kicks major ass strange as well.

My brain refuses to form an adequate answer to your question. Downloading $APPLICATION from the developers website, extracting it, manually solving dependencies, figuring out a good path to put it and symlink it to /usr/bin is exactly what you do not want to do on an Arch Linux system, therefore you create a PKGBUILD, which enables pacman to know about the package. Just because it does not need to be compiled, does not mean it is a bad idea to create a PKGBUILD. If this is not the purpose of the AUR, then I must have gotten it wrong entirely.
Maybe if you took another AUR package (of your choice) and compared it to the Android SDK PKGBUILD, I could comprehend what's different about this one.
ouch, i was just wondering. i did migrate here from ubuntu after all. but i was just curious, because it reminded me of the android sdk installer gentoo had when i was still running it on a virtual machine a few months ago.

  • Why is Ovi Maps 3 not available for the E63

Why is Ovi Maps 3 not available for the E63 an 410.21... for the old OS 400....
    was OVI Maps available.

Currently there is something very seriously broken in the latest firmwares, Maps 3.0x SIS files or Nokia Maps Updater. Until Nokia gets their problems sorted out, the only way to restore Maps 3.x after factory reset or firmware update is to use a version meant for previous generation devices, like this one (thanks to the user ovikovi).
