No responce from 2mth old iPod
My iPod affter working fine for the past couple of months, suddenly is completely unreponsive.
1. I've tried charging for a couple hours - still no responce.
2. I've taken off "hold" - just in case any asks if I missed the obvious.
Questions:
1. It seems shot to me, but if anyone has any suggestions on things to try, I would appreciate it.
2. I live in Singapore. Does anyone know how I go about getting it repaired?
3. How long is the warranty on this - I've only had it a little over 2 months?
Fyi:
1. It is a 20Gb color model.
2. I was using it with Griffen's RoadTrip this weakened. At first I thought it ws just drained after using it in the car. But now I can't get it to work at all. Could the RoadTrip have short circutted it somehow?
Many thanks for any help.
Tony
Have you tried Resetting the iPod?
To do this, make sure the Hold switch is not operated (i.e you expect the buttons to work if you press them).
Now hold down the Select (cetnre) and Menu buttons together until the Apple logo appears on the screen, then release them.
If this does not work try the same thing with the iPod on charge.
If that does not work then I suggest you restore the iPod to factory settings (Restore the software), buy following the instructions here :-

Hello everybody,
I would like to copy all the songs from one Ipod into another. All the songs are into my Itunes account, I tried to drag and drop the songs from the old Ipod to the new one but it doesn't work. Is there a way to do it ?
I share one Itunes account with other people from my family and one person would like to keep the same songs on the new Ipod as the ones which were on the old one.
Thanks in advance for your answer.
YanHello Chris,
Thanks for your answer. I was hoping for an easier answer. Too bad there is no drag and drop solution, it would have been much easier.
Thanks for answering so fast.
Bye.

How can I take the pics from my old ipod and transfer them onto my computer without deleting anything?
Pictures on an iPod are stored in a special format, optimized for the iPod's small lower resolution screen, to save storage space. iTunes puts them into that format when syncing. There is setting in iTunes, on the iPod's Photos screen (where you set up syncing of photos) for Include full resolution photos. If that checkbox was checked when you synced the photos to the iPod, THEN you can Enable disk use and find those photo files on the iPod in the Photos folder.
Otherwise, you cannot get your photos back, using iTunes. There may be third-party utilities that can extract individual photos from the iPod, but they will still be lower-resolution versions of the original photo. -

You need to transfer the music from your old iPod to your iTunes library first before it can be synced to the new one.

I just bought a new ipod shuffle, how can i transfer music from my old ipod onto the new one
How do I transfer from my old ipod to my new ipod
You can't transfer it directly. If the old iPod is set to sync to your iTunes library on the computer, everything on the iPod is in your iTunes library. Just set up the shuffle to sync from your iTunes library as desired.
If the old iPod is set to Manually manage music, AND there are songs on the iPod that are not in your current iTunes library, please post back. -

I have an older iPod Touch, I bought a new one and the Itunes on my computer is too old to recognize my new iPod Touch and Itunes cannot be updated. Is there a creditable software program I can use to get all my old music from my old iPod Touch to the new one? It is my understanding that the music cannot be saved onto my new iTunes, b/c I did not have iCloud. I have over 2,000 songs I just cannot part with. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help some how!! THANKS!
I had the same problem with my iPad, i couldn't get the newer version of itunes because the computer was too old and my iPad couldnt sync with the old itunes. I got a PC from school a few months later so that solved the problem for me. Unfortunately i don't think there would be a program to put your music on your iPod, iTunes should be the only way to transfer files to Apple devices. What operating system are you running and what version of it is it?

How do you transfer game data from an old Ipod to a new one?
I am trying to transfer apps from an old Ipod to a new one. World War and Call of Mini: Double Shot will not transfer the game data. Any suggestions? I have backed up and restored via Icloud with no success.
Well I don't think either game supports iCloud game data save. If they do it will be in the game settings. Best of luck. Cheers.
