No Response from Adobe Case #180841426.

I had filed the problem to technical support about activation problem since March 29. I cannot activate my account, so I am unable to open my e-book. It kept saying:
E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS
http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/Activate 121:6121:6121
urn:uuid:4fc133e0-75bc-4f03-8762-59ef4415d9c8#
I really need to use the book. I got the response 1 day later. I was impressed by quick response from technical support.
HOWEVER, when I replied back to them, they have not contacted me back. I frequently check the status of my case and it still states that pending for Adobe Response.
I am really disappointed about this. What should I do? Any problem faced the same problem. Please let me know what to do.
Thanks

I just did a double check, and you should be able to activate.

  • How to get a response from Adobe Support

    Greetings
    I purchased an upgrade to Photoshop Elements 6.0 for Mac from the Adobe website on August 1st, and the serial number that was sent to me does not work.  I have a registered copy of PSE 3.0, so I assume that an upgrade should be possible, but when I try to enter the serial number, I get a "serial number is not valid" error. I have worked through the various FAQs, to no effect.  So on August 6th I lodged a support case, using the online form.  10 days have now elapsed, with no response from Adobe: the status of the case is "Open - Pending Adobe Response".  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might either get the issued serial number to work, or induce Adobe to acknowledge the problem?

    Barbara,
    As an "Expert" you should be able to answer this. I downloaded the trial version of PE6, determined that I could use it, uninstalled it, and bought a new copy from our local dealer (like to buy local). Tried to installed that no less than five times and have never been able to do so. Most of the time the support files will install but the actual app fails to install. One time the install appeared to work, but clicking on the icon or the actual program in Applications resulted in nothing, nada, no response at all. Uninstalled after each attempt. Reinstalled the trial copy and tried to enter the actual serial number off the bought package, but we all know that will NEVER work. (Good joke, Adobe) Uninstalled the trial yet again. Have done restarts, made sure all other program were closed, emptied the trash, made a cup of tea, left the office, did everytihing I can think of to try and coax this ridulous piece of software to properly install. I know it works because the trial version worked fine (before it expired).
    I thought, well Adobe Support should be able to clear this up. Perhaps if I could ever actually get someone on the phone that might be the case, although many, many web discussion seem to suggest that would not happen. I have spent over four hours this week listening to the same three songs on the support line and NEVER ONCE had a live person pick up the phone.
    How do I get this abomination to work properly? The helpful tips that might be contained on this page do no good if one can not install and run the program.

    Still waiting for a response from Adobe regarding the post "Printing a pdf from a marked-up pdf" dated 15 Dec 2012 9:20 AM.

    Look everyone that comes here with a support problems has gone through all the normal channels, around and  round in circles with no one seeming to be interested. They've called every phone number, every email address they can find. They have been put on hold and bounced fifty times to another operator only to be hung up on. If Adobe would bring back support to main land and have people that know what's going on instead of having people that people can barely understand read from scripts. Scripted information only applies about 10 % of the time. I'm just giving people an alternative. after they have torn their hair out going the normal route.  If they had been able to get a solution they wouldn't be coming here for help.
    There should be a forum set up just for people to air these issues and Adobe employees forced to man it. Then we wouldn't have to have such a Bad attitude. Right now Adobe's Support reputation is worse than Intuit's which did have the absolutely worse on the Planet. Now they are number 2.
    You know it yourself that Adobe's support is absolutely worse than terible. However to prevent me from being banned from the forums I will simply will provide the adobecare email address from now on
    So let's sweep it under the rug.

  • Seems we're all having trouble with copyright watermarking. Any response from Adobe?

    [LR 3.0 WIN] I've looked at the discussions here on the the topic, and there seem to be loads of problems and no answers. I thought LR3 was an upgrade from LR2, so was hoping the copyright marking of web images would be as good as or better, but in this respect it feels more like a downgrade.
    I have loaded copyright information into the Copyright metadata field of all my (RAW) images for a web gallery. When I choose Simple Copyright Watermarking I see nothing on my large images (which are web size). Even if something were visible, there appears to be no control over its size or position. When I choose and set up a Watermark Preset, I can use fixed text or graphic, but apparently nothing that relates to the Copyright metadata. Like many people, I produce galleries with work from various authors, and each needs its own copyright marking. As things stand, I can't use LR3 for my web galleries (one of the main reasons I upgraded), and will have to continue to use LR2 for this.
    Can we please have a comment from Adobe, to tell us where we're all going wrong, or a promise of an early fix?

    It is a bug and I hope the bug should be fixed in the next release.
    The longer term fix may rely on tokens, but I feel the better place to look is the Edit Watermarks dialog. At the moment you can choose Text or Graphic, but not a metadata field that's varied with each image.
    The other day I had a need similar to Alan's, but in Export. I had images from multiple photographers, and while Simple Copyright Watermark works in Export it was useless in my case because the client wanted the watermark in the top right. I therefore had to create one watermark preset per photographer, and run one export per photographer. I did look into doing this by a plug-in but (a) Export requires links to a preset (b) you can't create watermark presets on the fly (c) text file edits to an existing watermark preset aren't picked up by LR without a restart.
    Giving Edit Watermarks the option to pick up a metadata field would resolve more than the Web problem, and Simple Copyright Watermark could then be retired.

  • CS4 - Educational Order Fulfillment - No response from Adobe

    Hi,
    I have a UK copy of Adobe CS4 Web Premium (Student Edition) which requires activation via Adobe's form at www.adobe.com/go/studentedition_uk
    I have completed this form and attached a copy of my student ID on June 24th (5 days ago) and heard nothing from Adobe, despite claims that a customer service advisor will deal with the form within 24 hours.
    I have spoken to two customer service advisors via the "chat" fuction who have both promised that it will be looked at soon and I will recieve a serial number via e-mail but this has not happened.
    Is there anything further I can do to aid this process and to be able to use the software I have paid for?
    If anyone from Adobe is looking it is Case #0202202411.
    Any help would be greatly recieved,
    Many Thanks,
    Mark

    > Now where's that guy with the cracked version again..?
    sad thing is adobe drives people to this.
    and you know that for every person that jokes or half seriously considers it, there are dozens who won't even ask or mention it. they just need to get their work done and will turn to the cracked version at the 1st sign of DRM trouble to get access to the program they paid good money for because they don't have time to waste playing adobe's DRM game of hide the pea under the shell.
    that's what happens when you treat your "customers" like potential thieves before they even get the program installed.

  • I have an open case. I can't get a response from Adobe. My computer was hit by lightening and cannot be repaired. It had Photoshop on it. I want to get a copy of Photoshop for my new computer using the serial

    My computer that had Adobe Photoshop CS6 on it was hit by lightening and cannot be repaired. I want to get a copy of Photoshop for my new computer. I have an open case, but I cannot get Adobe to respond to it. I have sent the serial# and a copy of the license. Every time I try the chat function to get help, I get dropped with the message "chat is no longer available." I WANT MY PHOTOSHOP!

    This is a user forum, not a channel to address Adobe. As your fellow users and volunteers, we'll be happy to help you if we can.
    You can download the CS6 trial version just like anybody else.
    Once you download it, you can install it, input your serial number, register it and apply all necessary updates.
    An alternative, if you know how to access your Adobe account, under My Products you'll find your Photoshop CS6 registration, next to which you should find a link to download CS6 if you originally bought it as a download

  • No response from Adobe

    I chatted online Saturday (Oct. 19) with an Adobe customer service rep regarding an alternative way to pay for my CC monthly fee. (Due to the data breach, my credit card is canceled, and I do not want to share another credit card number with Adobe.) The rep said I have to give a credit card number, but I was adamant that Adobe needs to be flexible after putting us all through extra work and anxiety. Here's how the chat was ended:
    M_Selvaraj: Al Right i will escalate your Issue to my concern department. our concern department will contact you and help you in resolving your issue, they will contact you in next 24-48 business hours
    In a global 24/7 economy, I'm not sure what "24-48 business hours" actually means, but I have heard exactly nothing from a "concern department" or anyone else associated with Adobe in the approximately 112 hours since my chat. Remove 24 hours for Sunday to be charitable, and it's still 80+ hours with no sign of contact.
    I was not given a case number or any other way of following up. Now what?

    It’s been less than a week so less than 40 hours of 8 hour 5-days-per-week US-type “business days”, but by the end of Monday somewhere in the world would be 48-hours worth of 8 hour “business days” unless their society-of-reference has less than 5-days work weeks.
    I saw this morning that someone else asked to be able to pay a full year at a time, which would make sense, and only require brief storage of a CC number until the transaction had cleared.  If they can’t do this then it is a limitation of their imagination, after more than a year of subscription payments being available.

  • Anyone know a trick to get a response from Adobe?

    Adobe aged out the password on my account. They have twice promised to contact us about recovering access to our account. We have not ever been contacted by anyone.  Does Adobe ever do what they commit to?

    Well, thanks for the reply, but web chat was the technique I tried. Note the following excerpt:
    "Rachana: In this case I request you to update email address.
      Rachana: Is that okay with you?
      Jim: If I can.
      Jim: But I can't get into the account to update the e-mail address.
      Jim: Can you do it for me?
      Rachana: I can forward the case to next level and you will be notified via email within 2-3 business days."
    The next level never responded. I have since tried a third chat session, because I don't know what else to do. NO response yet, but if I get one I will post it here.
    "Sumanth: In this case, I have updated the case to change the email address. Our relevant team will contact you after changing the email address, they will contact you within 24 hours via [my e-mail e-mail address]"

  • Disappointed with lack of responses  from Adobe staff

    Recently I've posted a few questions. In the meantime I've
    resolved all problems by trial and error. Most problems have been
    cause by not having complete documentation available.
    I just posted a topic -
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/messageview.cfm?forumid=72&catid=602&threadid =1248092&enterthread=y
    but no longer do I expect a response. Sometimes after a
    search, I see that others have the same or similar problems, but no
    one has answered them.
    Does Adobe expect success with Spry? If so I think they need
    to help the small band of people struggling with it!
    VERY disappointed.
    I also not that at the bottom of the main page of this forum,
    it states, "Important Note: These online forums are for
    user-to-user discussions of Adobe products, and are not an official
    customer support channel for Adobe. If you require direct
    assistance, or prefer to contact Adobe support staff directly,
    please contact Adobe support. "
    But when you click the link, there's no select option for
    Spry!!!

    Hi Kate,
    Believe me when I say that I understand your frustration. I
    just want to state for the record that what seems like our lack of
    response or interest in this forum is not intentional.
    The lack of timely responses is due mainly to the fact that
    we have *lots* of things going on behind the scenes here. Some of
    us read the forums in real-time, and chime in any spare moment we
    have, and it's also frustrating for us to see folks struggling.
    Some posts are easy to answer within a couple of minutes, and some
    take hours to help folks figure out what's going on in their
    pages/apps/site.
    You bring up some very valid points, and I've forwarded them
    on to the appropriate folks internally.
    That said, it seems like most of your questions that have
    gone unanswered revolve around validation widgets. I'll try to
    answer your questions, and perhaps poke other who know more if I
    can't figure it out.

  • Insert response from adobe captivate to database

    Need ApI to communicate to adobe captivate to insert data in
    database

    Hi tikiri,
    You can access variables directly using the movie instance.
    Please check the code below, where we are printing the varCount
    variable.
    on(release){
    _root.play();
    _root.createEmptyMovieClip("movie", 999);
    _root.movie._x=146;
    _root.movie._y=12;
    loadMovie("test/test.swf", _root.movie);
    trace (_root.movie.varCount);
    This code is specific for AS2 captivate swfs. You can try
    accessing any of captivate system variables also in this way:
    _root.movie.rdcmndNextSlide = 1; // jumps to next slide
    _root.movie.cpCmndMute = 1; // mute the audio
    trace(_root.movie.cpInfoCurrentDate); // print the current
    date
    _root.movie.rdInfoCurrentSlide =
    _root.movie.cpInfoLastVisitedSlide // jumps to last visited slide
    Please go through the list of available variables in
    captivate documentation. All the variables starting from "rdcmnd"
    are legacy variables and exist in captivate 3 projects as well.
    Ones starting with "cp" are new and are not available prior to
    captivate 4. Accessing method remains the same for both cp3 and cp4
    generated swfs.
    For accessing variables in AS3 captivate movies:-
    var movieLdr:Loader = new Loader();
    var movieURL:String = "CA3_Demo.swf"
    var movieURLReq:URLRequest = new URLRequest(movieURL);
    var cpMovie;
    movieLdr.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,loadComplete);
    function loadComplete(ae:Event)
    cpMovie = movieLdr.content;
    //Pause the movie
    cpMovie.rdcmndPause = 1;
    //Resume the movie
    cpMovie.rdcmndResume = 1;
    //Jump to next slide
    cpMovie.rdcmndNextSlide = 1;
    also try,
    // print current date
    trace(cpMovie.movie.cpInfoCurrentDate);
    addChild(movieLdr);
    movieLdr.load(movieURLReq);
