No response in downloading Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5

I've already signed in but when I click download of Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5, it seems like nothing is in progress.
When i click the "download" button again, a window titled "Product download pending" appear and ask me to reopen the "Adobe Download Asistant".
What's wrong? ?_?

Where did you select to save the download too?

Hello I'm considering buying Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 to write android and apple apps but I have a couple of quesries that I hope someone can help me on:
1. Can I launch an app from a scanned QR code and, if so, soes anyone know how (perhaps have examples?)
2. I have been trialing the software and noted that a large file has to be instelled on mobiles (Air) before the app can run. Is is possible to package this with the app rather than the user having to download Air too? Does anyone make people feel that this will make Adobe apps less attractive or have I missed something?

Hi Rob,
1. If you can launch apps through a QR code with the native apps then you will be able to do it with the AIR apps, once on the device they function just the same so that's not really an AIR question its more of an Android or iOS question, I do not have any examples. You can always set up a QR code that goes to the store page for whatever app you are trying to offer to the user.
2. Yes you can package the AIR plug in with your file, for iOS its done automatically for Android you have to do it maually through some command prompt and it appears to be a huge pain in the ***, but it is possible. Yes I agree having an air download required is not as attractive as a native app, the good news is that some devices come with AIR pre installed the Kindle Fire and the NOOK being 2 good examples.

Cannot install adobe flash professional cs5.5

I am not able to install adobe flash professional cs5.5 as it takes a lot of time to install and uses complete cpu resources and because of this the cpu and the whole computer heats up and shuts off.
I tried to prevent the heating by putting ice all around the the computer external computer fans and everything else to keep the computer cool but still the computer shuts off.ter details
Pls. help me. I need it urgently.
My computer details are-
Acer Aspire 5710
Intel Core Duo processor T2450
4GB DDR2
Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

You should try contacting someone at Adobe Customer Support or Tech support (?). While it would be nice, Adobe personell do not monitor these forums as a general practice. These are user-to-user forums and getting help or attention from folks at Adobe by posting here is less likely to happen than if you try contacting them directly.

when you click 'save as'.
abobe says you can load cc files on previous version, but I don't know how to save as previous version.

Hello everyone, I currently own ''Adobe Flash Professional CS5'' and had been extensively working on an animation when I clicked the ''File Info'' of a layer I was observing. Suddenly a random window opened-up entitled ''Uknown-4,'' the window was just blank and couldn't be closed as there was no ''x'' button. The window wouldn't let me go back to the program, so I had to close it all-together. Three questions, what the heck was that all about, is there an ''auto-save'' feature anywhere, and can I recover the lost project?

How do I upgrade from Adobe Flash Professional cs5.5 to Adobe Flash Professional cs6?

A couple of months ago, I was told by the live support team of Adobe, that I would be able to upgrade from flash cs5.5 to flash cs6 mac version, then I can change that to the windows version for $100. Now I am ready to upgrade and switch, but I am unable to find the upgrade for the USA, only for Africa. When I go to change the country to USA, it brings my to a cyclical clicking of links that never leads me to the actual flash cs6 purchase page, it only brings me to the purchase page for Flash CC, which I don't want. I am skeptical that the flash cs6 purchase page with Africa as a location was even a legitimate adobe webpage. Here is the page I was brought to by google (google was the only thing able to bring me to the page, I can't find it via adobes website) : Adobe Store - Adobe Flash Professional CS6 - Upgrade. I don't want to have to download from overseas (Digital River Ireland Ltd.) if this is even legitimate. The fine print said international purchases may incur an extra charge by my bank which I would love to avoid. Someone please help me, my Macbook broke last year and I have had a digital copy of the mac version of flash cs5.5 for a few years which I payed 700 dollars for, and now I have a windows laptop and the mac version of flash cs5.5 is useless to me now unless I can solve this issue! Thanks guys if you are able to help.

Issue with Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 Security Update 11.5.2

As part of my Adobe Design Premium CS5.5 suite, I have Flash CS5.5 version 11.5.1.349. It sorely needs updating per the security announcement page. Also Kaspersky IS keeps telling me it needs to be updated as a security vulnerability. I've tried everything. I download the 11.5.2 update from Adobe's security update page: www.adobe.com/support/flash/downloads.html#flashCS55
After it downloads I go through WinZip to open the zip exe file. It then gives me a message saying that Adobe Application Manager may be damaged and I should update/reinstall it. I've tried that.
I've tried opening the zip with Kaspersky security off.
I've tried updating through the AAM. (Always says no update available).
I've tried updating from within my Flash Pro application. (Always says no update available).
(Windows 7, 64-bit, using 32-bit browsers)
Really need someone's help on this, thanks.

Just to give some ease of mind, I noticed AAM also isn't telling me about this and I am also on a lower version.
I only use Microsoft Security Essentials (basically low interference) and I'm using flash CS5.5 with version 11.5.1.349..
I'm on Win7 64 so I jumped over to the page and grabbed the win .zip. Ran it, installed fine. Now:
As soon as I finished that I realized what my clients, family and friends constantly do. Do you see this screen?
The reason why you see this is you need to extract the files from the zip file.
Open the .zip, grab the single .exe AND the Payload folder and drag it somewhere (in the same place) on your computer. You can drag it to your desktop or anywhere you like, just make sure you grab both. Then run the AdobePatchInstaller.exe.
It's a very common mistake. You always need to extract all the files in a .zip because WinZip and Windows Explorer let you "preview" whats inside but you should never RUN files from that preview. Extract first, then run.

Adobe.utils.Extension not found in Adobe flash professional CS5

In my machine I have installed only Adobe Flash CS5 proffesional trial version. Now this installation is not supporting adobe.utils.Extension class in this version. I have tried with all latest updates from adobe site. My doubt is does adobe.utils.Extension class is available in licensed version of Adobe Flash CS5 proffesional?

Actually our flash IDE supports adobe.utils.*
When we import
import adobe.utils.CustomActions and import adobe.utils.XMLUI, we are getting these two classes as blue colour as
adobe.utils.CustomActions ;
adobe.utils.XMLUI;
, that means it is recognized as AS3 classes which is contained in adobe.util package. But when we import Extension this not happening.
adobe.utils.Extension;
ie Extension class is not recognized the IDE.
But when we typing these import statement in timeline we can see the hint for these three classes.

How to reduce the time of publication in the swf from the fla in Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5?

My fla-file (27mB) is graphic resources to a project, split into pieces is very problematic.Publication time on my computer is 4 minutes. I tried setting "preferance / publish cache" - not result.

Compress movie was a chance that you used some bitmaps that might have agressive compression. Oh well.
You copied 120 symbols and received good results. Great! Try copying half your library and do the same. Soon you will find out which item is causing this gigantic halt.
Over a decade ago it took my old P4 about 5 minutes to export a movie I was making and I never knew why. It always ran very cruddy in one specific area too. I finally took a look inside one vector that was insanely complex and huge (like 3000x3000 size 8 years ago is HUGE). It was being scaled down to 5% of its size to fit on screen haha. I simply exported it to a bitmap and all of a sudden everything was fixed. Lots of these things happen. You just need to find out what part of your library is causing issues. So I'd keep copying more and more symbols while exporting until all of a sudden you copy, export and it takes forever. Then you know what the culprit is.
In my experience the 2 things that have ALWAYS caused a ridiculos amount of time to export is audio and fonts with all glyphs exported.

This doesn't seem to work the same way in CS5.5 / CS6
In the video the class files are associated with the FLA, when you switch back to Flash Pro...
So far, when I follow these steps the classes are not associated with the FLA, the class field for the stage in Flash remains blank.
Also, clicking the edit icon in the properties of a MovieClip and allowing FB to create the file, does not associate the as file with the MovieClip.
Returning to Flash Pro and clicking the Edit button attempt to create a new file once again, but since the file already exists in FB it just remains on the New ActionScript Class dialog, with the Finish Button grayed out (because a file with the same name already exists in FB).
The resulting AS files for a given are created in a sub folder under:
Documents/Adobe Flash Builder 4.6/[Project]/src-[Project]/*.as
Yet the FLA is located in Documents:
Documents/[Project].fla
Should the as files exists with the fla, is a folder reference supposed to be set, or did I miss a step somewhere?
Is a source path supposed to be added to Flash Pro for:
Documents/Adobe Flash Builder 4.6/[Project]
I am currently on a Mac, but noticed the same behavior in Windows at work yesterday.

I am facing some migration/compatibility issues between Adobe Flash CS3 Professional and Adobe Flash Professional CS5:
I am working on a project that has been completely developed in CS3 earlier. When I am using CS5 (Flash Player 9 / Flash Player 10) to compile the FLA files, it is creating some new issues like some customized radio buttons are getting disappeared while viewing the SWF on a web page etc.
So, I would like to know:
1) Is there any migration/compatibility issue between Adobe Flash CS3 Professional and Adobe Flash Professional CS5?
2) If yes: Is there any patch available from Adobe for it?
3) If no: What could be the causes and the best possible solutions for it?
