No reverse seek on music player during locked screen

I noticed that there is no reverse seek << on music player on locked screen, it only displayed the forward seek >>. This shouldn't happened because in Kitkat all is complete forward or rewind. Sony pls fix this bug.

It is indeed gone, have you checked this out?

  • Ios7 music from the lock screen via control centre

Help!!! whilst i can see how it is quicker to access music from the lock screen via control centre it doesn't appear to work correctly
when returning to the control centre from the lock screen after a few minutes listening to music it works fine i.e. the track you were listening to appeas there
my issue is that if you return to the control centre after not listening to music say for a few hours or overnight it does no return to the track you were listening to and decidess for itself that its in shuffle mode. very frustrating
is this correct or is this in the settings

You can try the standard fixes:
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    - Wait for next iOS update

  • Music player app - locking display orientation and album info

Is there anyway to lock the ipod touch music player app in a particular orientation? Alternately, can the music player be set to stay in album info mode when the ipod changes orientation?
I listen to my ipod touch when riding my bicycle. I use the DLO ActionWrap attached to my forearm, primarily in landscape orientation. However, I frequently want to see how long the current song is or how many songs are left to play on the album and, as I move my arm and change the orientation of the ipod, the ipod will exit info mode each time I change orientation. It would be nice to be able to lock the ipod music player app in landscape mode or lock it in a mode that it will stay in info mode as I change orientation of the ipod.
If you just can't do this, if anyone at Apple reads this, could you please make this a feature?
    alan

I have downloaded Audiograbber to my laptop. Converted all my music to Mp3 then transferred it all to my PlayBook via Wifi. You get the album, artists, selections etc. Works great for me. Then on the PlayBook you can select what you want to put on the Playlist.

  • Music Playback from Lock Screen

Something that was noticed on my 3GS after the initial iOS 5 update that I wanted to see if anyone else has seen, or knows what may be causing it
Started the music app, locked my iPhone and then skipped a song using the lock screen controls
Every time the lock screen controls are used to skip a song or restart one, there is a noticible "blip" in the audio, as if the phone has issues reading the music
I've completely reset my phone to factory settings and re-synced, and it never did this on iOS 4, so its definitely something related to the update
I updated to iOS 5.0.1 today to see if it was one of the bugs fixed in that batch
Any help or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated
UPDATE: iOS 5.0.1 - issue still exists, payed a bit closer attention to the phone's behavior in the lock screen
Happens when the lock screen controls time-out, so its definitely tied to that end of the software

The music player is only on the lockscreen when you double-tap the home button.  Another double-tap removes it.

  • Whenever I try to pause or skip music on my lock screen it doesn't allow me to. It doesn't allow me to do that from the control center either. I am running on iOS7. How to fix this problem ?

I've had this issue since I downloaded iOS 7. Is there any way to fix this ?

    I have the same problem!
I came on here to see if anyone has a solution, but it seems there might not be one just. Keeping my fingers crossed. Quickly adjusting music selections from the lock screen was one of my favorite and most used features (not to mention this bug renders control center pretty much useless to me if I have not access to my music from it).

  • Usually I am able to play music from my lock screen by pressing the home button twice but now it won't come up with any thing when I do that. Wat do I do?

I usually am able to push the home button twice while on the lock screen and access music but today it stopped working and now doesn't come up with anything. Please help!!

    Hi,
    Try resetting your iPod:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430.

  • HT5957 Controlling music apps in lock screen doesn't work in ios7.02?

After applying the second update to ios7, none if my music apps function in the lock screen.  No stopping music from any app including the Apple music app in the lock screen.  This means that Bluetooth controllers such as car stereo systems can't control next track, pause or stop on any music app being accessed since the screen is generally locked while driving.  This is dangerous because the only way to control these apps - while driving - is to unlock the phone.  Apparently my phone is now more secure, but I guess that means it securely doesn't work in lock screen.

    Try A and B
    (A) Restart iPad
    1. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off iPad.
    3. Turn iPad back on, hold down the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears
    (B) Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

  • Stuck music controls in lock screen iOS 8.1.3

For some reason I have yet to analyze, my music controls display on my lock screen when there is no music or video app playing.  The controls are suck in "play" mode with the pause button visible but tapping it has no effect.  The clock and date do not display and I can only seem to rest the unit by performing a hard restart.
I am running a Verizon 64Gb iPhone 6+ and may take a wild guess that it has something to do with the YouTube app.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds). No data will be lost.

  • Anyone else having trouble pausing and skipping music from the lock screen?

I usually listen to music in the mornings and when I go to pause my music or change the song it simply won't work unless I go into my phone and use theistic icon to pause it or skip it.

it works fine  on my  phone. try to check access Settings- Control center - make sure Access on Lock Screen and Access within Apps are On. while on lockscreen mode, try swiping up from the bottom of the screen to view control center. try to play a song, then swipe it down to hide the control center. u will see there music playing while on the lockscreen and can pause it from there.. hope this will help.

  • Music player and unlock screen

Is there a way to stop the music player from coming up on the unlock screen when playing music via bluetooth?  I want to be able to see the date and time, not the music player, while still playing music via bluetooth.
    I have an iPhone 4.

Here the same discussion for iPods...

I had the same problem and did a reboot, for me that solved the problem.
    How to reboot your iPhone:
    1. Hold down the Home button (that’s the big button in the lower front) and the Sleep / Wake button (that’s the little button on the top right) down.
    2. Keep holding until you see the screen go black and then the Apple logo appear.
    3. Voila! Your iPhone has been rebooted. Resume your blissful life and forget that anything bad happened with your iPhone.

  • Remove Music Widget on Lock Screen

Since upgrading to 4.3.3 today, I cannot remove the music widget from my lock screen.  I've made sure the app is not open, closed all running apps, and restarted my phone. Any suggestions?

If you'd rather not have a Lock on your screen you could go into settings >> security & screen lock, screen lock then choose none.. then when you tap the screen it will be at your home screen..

  • After updating to iOS5, browsing (playing) music on the lock screen has gotten really slow, has anyone else had this problem?

As the title states, browsing music while playing it on the lock screen has really slowed down, while it used to zap to another song quite instantly it now takes about one, sometimes two seconds to do so. Did iOS 5 cause this? Will it be fixed? Any other explenations?

I rarely record automation, and when I do I never do a second pass (usually hand draw automation in) but I have had problems with Logic 7 no longer playing back automation. I've been told its fixed in Logic 8, but in the mean time here is a work around.
Select the region where the automation is (if there is no region, create one using the pencil tool and expand it to cover all automation) and go OPTIONS menu -> TRACK AUTOMATION -> "Move current track data to region data." Now everything should play back as expected. If you want to edit the data, simply select "move current region data to track data" and edit away.
For some reason, Logic 7 will sometimes stop reading track automation data, but I have yet to have it stop reading region automation. This is a bug, and according to other users, has been fixed in Logic 8. Hope this helps until we eventually upgrade

  • Drop down notification not working during lock screen

Hello, I just switched over from the iPhone and I wasn't sure if there was a trick to it. But when I'm in the lock screen and I swipe down nothing happens. My drop down notifications won't work. Is this normal on a Sony phone? I'm using a c6906. Android 4.2.2 and the build number is 14.1.g.2.257
Does that make a difference or am I missing the trick to do it?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

silly question but what lock screen are you using? Maybe it has to do with a more secure lock screen than the simple swipe... my assumption is that if youre using a pincode, it wont let you swipe down notifications since youve opted for a more secure form of security.
Yes ive tested it. if youre using a pin or a pattern it wont let you show the notification pannel Great security imho ;P i anyway dont bother with key locks.. if anyone wants to get at your phone they will.. simple as.. its a deterent sure.. but most folks that bother with phone theft know how to get around it...
    Hope this solves the issue.
