No sample images,

Hi, just recently got a new mac and I decided to pick up Aperture, now i've managed to get everything else sorted to my liking I thought I'd start experimenting. So i started it up and expected the question about importing sample images, which didn't appear. The main window has a folder called 'Nature' which i believe is one of the sample projects but theres no images in it
Is there a way to reimport the sample images?

Below this text there are 4 examples of what comes out of my M2 camera. I checked with my friend, who has the same phone and also went to the shop and checked with their M2 phone....Those two phones make sharpi pictures, mine is faulty, as simple as that. So a warranty repair on schedule.
Guhanrocky, I've been dealing with photography for more than 15 years now...It is my humble opinion that I can use a camera no matter to what type of device that photographic sensor is conected to I just got a bad luck with faulty phone and I believe (from some complains) I might not be the only one...

IPhoto sample images

I am new to iPhoto so pls bear with me. I seem to have these sample photos which I believe come from iPhoto, (soccer photos, AZ vacation photos.....), and I want to delete them. The only problem is, I can't find them to nuke em. Can somebody help?

Your question is not clear
There are no "sample" images in iPhoto
The only way to delete any image in iPhoto is to select it in iPhoto and drag it to the iPhoto thasr(or press the delete key) and then empty the iPhoto trash and the system trash
As to how to fine the photo you only find the photo using iPhoto and you only manage the photos in iPhoto using iPhoto

IWeb uploading sample image

Hi
I've just uploaded my website which is being hosted by ipage, I used the Publish Site option vie SEO Tool for iweb. I then made some alterations to the website in iWeb and then reloaded the site.
Now all of a sudden a random sample image has appeared on the home page yet it's not showing on the home page in iWeb. I've deleted all of the folders and reloaded them, deleted history and cleared any saved info that I could find under preferences but image is still showing. I've also created a new blank page and copied over the information I wanted to use to ensure the image wasn't underneth yet still it's showing on the live site
Any ideas why / how this is happening and if I can get rid of it?

I would recommend that you use an FTP application to upload the files after processing with SEO Tool.
Either that or contact Rage tech support and ask them to deal with the problem.
Publish your site to a local folder and launch it in the browser by double clicking the external index.html file. Is this version OK?
Then process the files with the Tool and test again. Is this version OK?

Effects Plug ins and Sample Image expression

Hello guys,
I have a small problem with the sample Image expression and effects affinity.
I build an effect similar to the autolevels effect. It scales up the gray levels of a picture. Really simple effect.
Then I try to get the color at some point of my layer.
So i add a Point effect, a color effect from expression control.
Then I put an expression to update my color parameter :
sampleImage(effect(Point));
this does work sometimes and not other times. I move the point and the value becomes incorrect... emptying the cache sometimes clear the problem but not all the time.
I have some random values sometimes too.
If I precomp my layer, then no problem, I get the right result.
It seems there is a synchonization problem between my effect and the expression evaluation. It seems to be evaluated before my effect computation is finished. Maybe i m not sending the right out flags or something like this?
I tried with the standard autolevels and the color is correctly updated....
If someone has any ideas that could help me.

In prerender, i do like in the samples (Shifter, SDK Noise). I
realized that the behavior of the samples in the sdk is also
erroneous.
The color returned by sampleImage is randomly the color
before the effect application, and sometimes after the effect application.
It seems that SmartyPants sample is doing it correctly, so i have to check it out.

I checked the rectangle:
in_result.result_rect and in_result.max_result_rect
and they where just the size of the composition when I do a normal render.
When the render is started by the expression, i get a first pre render:

and a second one with the full composition in both.

Trouble downloading Lightroom Sample Image

Anyone else having problems downloading the Lightroom Sample Image from the Adobe Store? I purchased Lightroom a few days ago and successfully downloaded the application, but cannot download the sample image which is also on the download list from this order. When I first clicked on it, I got the dialog box (Windows) asking whether I wanted to reset the Quicktime MIME type associations back to Quicktime. I answered "no" the first couple of tries, and got no download, so I answered "yes", and still no download.

By the way, you are aware that access to the files doesn't equal permission to use the images for anything?

Xperia M2 Camera Blurry, No Details (sample images inside)...

Hey there! Not sure, if this is a lens or software issue, but images which I take with M2 are just awful. Blurred, lack of detail. I also have Xperia Arc, which is a 2+ year old phone, and if I compare images, pictures taken with M2 (8mpix) are just far worse. Any sollution to that, or is it only me lucky again with some faulty Sony phone. In short, should I return my phone back or is there any software sollution incoming? Greetings!

I'm making a short music video and i can't seem to find out how to get these lines out of the video.
every time someone makes a fast motion on screen, you can see every other line of pixels being separated from the image.

I've had some friends of mine tell me i need to de-interlace the video, and i've done that, and i get the absolute same exact video!
the video is a .mov file, i've just been editing it in final cut, i captured it at 24fps (i'm almost possitive), and i'm not sure what other kind of information to supply to help better answer the question.

IF you have interlacing artifacts (and you do), then the camera was NOT set to produce 24fps.
The interlacing artifacts typically are only visible in a freeze frame of fast moving objects. When the video is playing at normal speed, the interlacing should be invisible to the eye.
If the interlacing looks down right terrible at normal speed, then your fields are reversed.
Use the "Shift Fields" Video Filter in the Video folder on the Effects tab.
Please understand that using the De-interlace filter in the video folder will indeed de-interlace your video, but it will do it by throwing away half the information unless you adjust the flicker settings.
The BEST way to de-interlace video is through Compressor with the Frame settings set to Best.

Modifying the DisplayShelf sample to load images from a database

I've been programming java for a couple of years but it's my first try at JavaFX and I feel completely lost.
I am trying to modify the DisplayShelf sample to get image paths from a mysql database instead of loading the sample images in the jar.
I created a class called ImagePaths with a single method called getPaths() that returns an array of String paths. I tested it and it works.
Now following is the modification I did to DisplayShelf's class:

Have you tried improving your original image with better lighting, better camera, better lens, etc.? What image processing have you done already, or are you starting from scratch? I agree with AnalogKid in providing some sample images to the forum so we can get an idea of what you are working with. Have you performed any morphology processing on the image? Have you tried edge detection functions? There are numerous functions that NI provides with their NI Vision software that will help you process your image, it is just finding the right combination that is the toughest part. Last, if you do have the Vision software, I might suggest taking a look at the Vision concepts manual to get an idea of the different functions and their capabilities. Let us know what kind of images you are working with and what you have done so far, and last, what you would like to eventually see. Thanks, and have a great day.

How do I add an image already in the page to a slide show ?

It seems so simple: I have a couple of images already spread out on a page, but later on I decide to collect them into a simple slide show after all. So I drag this Slide Show widget into place, and now ? Yeah, I know, I should use the button to select new images into it, or drag them as files from my Finder onto the Slide Show. But I already have them sitting on my page ! Isn't there a quicker and better way ? I tried copying and pasting in a lot of ways, and I can change the existing (three) sample images, but it's not even so easy to do it. Anyone ?
BTW, I know I could use Compositions, and at least they offer a simple + button to add extra instances to the widget. But I'd like to these plain vanilla Slide Show widgets in this situation.

Lumia 1020 Gallery Widget - How to Delete Sample P...

I've got the Nokia photo gallery widget pinned to the home screen of my phone. When the Black update installed, new sample photos were also installed and these sample photos show up on the gallery widget in the image preview. I was able to delete some of these photos from within the Nokia Camera app but some are still showing up in the widget on the home screen. I'm unable to find these photos on the phone so am unable to delete them. I don't want these sample images on the phone. How can I delete these sample images?
Second question is in regard to the ordering of images in the gallery app. I have the images named in the following manner: Image01, Image02, Image03.... I did this so that when the images were transferred to another device, they would show up in the proper order in the gallery and so that when they were shown to people, they would show in the proper order. When I transfer the images to any of my Android devices, they are properly ordered in any of the gallery apps I use. When transferring the images to my Windows Phone, they are not properly ordered. They show up in some random order that I'm unable to figure out. Perhaps it's date-based and based on the date the images were captured in the image EXIF, I'm not sure. Is there any way to get the images to appear in the proper, image name-based order?

@farby - It's been 4 days.
I did find a solution to the home screen tile problem. Going into the gallery, pressing ... and choosing Shuffle background seems to get rid of the sample photos and uses my onw pictures that are stored on the phone.
