Me encontré con el mismo problema en mi iMac con Yosemite 10.10.2. En este foro encontré una solución sugerida por klaush67354338.
La solución de parche que sugiere es ir a Adobe Flash Player Distribution y descargar el instalador desde el enlace Download DMG Installer (for System Administrators). Una vez descargado el archivo, basta seguir el procedimiento de instalación de cualquier aplicación y reiniciar Safari si estaba abierto.

Cat'n install activex debug flash player

Just now I downloaded this installer:

Then I try to install flash player with it and get this error:

If you want to keep the 10.1 beta, you can download the debugger build(s) from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html
If not, you have to download the 10.1 uninstaller from the same page, then run it with the -force option. After that you can install the standard 10 Flash Player and debugger.

ActiveX msi Flash Player 10.0.42.34 group policy deploy issue

I have been deploying the flash player to our workstations since version 9. We have a 2003 AD domain and XP SP3 workstations.
I know that it is recommended to use the flash uninstall program to remove flash when installing a new version but I haven’t taken the time to work on that type of scripting for any install. Any attempts to uninstall the previous versions of flash via group policy when deploying have never worked. I had the same experience with java 1.5 jres…they would never uninstall via policy.
I have had success so far with deploying the latest version to the workstations with a new policy while leaving the old policy applied until a few weeks have past when all the workstations have been updated.
I am in the process of deploying Flash Player 10.0.42.34 to replace Flash Player 10.0.32.18
My test deploy to my virtual XP test workstation worked with no problems. The flash test paged detected the newer version and the correct version was in add/remove programs.
I then did a test deploy to a production workstation and the software installed without errors (the group policy install went extremely fast so I knew something was wrong). No errors were reported in the workstation application log. However when you visited the flash test page no version of flash was detected. I also checked in add/remove programs and the program icon was the windows installer icon instead of the normal red flash box….this has been associated with other installation issues in the past.
I have tried this on 3 other production machines and experienced the same results. My virtual XP test workstation has only had version 10.0.32.18 on it so I am guessing that having had the older versions of 10 on the production workstations is causing the problem somehow.
I have had issues in the past, but nothing like this. Looks like I may have been owned by adobe on this one.
Any insight would be appreciated.

We initially encountered this on the version prior to the 10.0.42.34 version.
However even after the upgrading to 10.0.42.34 , the problem still persists .

Flash Player Distribution - 64bit Downloads?

Hi,
I would like to upgrade the Flash Players on all our Windows based machines to 11.3.300.271, we deploy via Group Policy. I went to the 'Adobe Flash Player Distribution' page to get the updated MSI packages as I have done in the past and there is only the 32bit version available (for both MSI and EXE types).
Is there a 64bit release of the update yet? If so, where may I download the updates in my required MSI format?

The latest installer combines the 32-bit and 64-bit players; it will automatically install both on x64 systems.
You can verify it by checking the install folders
C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash

Windows8.1x64 にグループポリシー（ソフトウェアの割り当て）を使ってFlash Player ActiveXをインストールしようとしています。
サーバーはWindows Server 2008x64 SP2 です。
インストーラーはAdobeのサイトから最新のinstall_flash_player_11_plugin.msiをダウンロードして使用しています。
そういしたところ、イベントログにエラーが出力され、Flash Playerのインストールに失敗してしまいます。
インストーラーを直接叩いてみたのですが、やはり失敗して、イベント ID:11722が出力されました。
MSにも問い合わせてみたのですが、ログから見るとパッケージの問題なのでAdobeに問い合わせてくださいとのことでした。
Windows8.1x64にはこのパッケージは入れられないのでしょうか？
他に問題が考えられるとしたらどういう問題なのか、ご教示いただけませんでしょうか。
ちなみに、一緒にダウンロードしてポリシーに設定した Flash Player Plugin は正常にインストールされています。

Installing Adobe Flash Player 10.0.42 Plugin for Firefox 3.5.7

I currently have Firefox 3.5.7 installed and am trying to access a site that requires the current version of Adobe Flash Player (10.0.42). When I download and install it, the website still doesn't recognize flash player being installed.
I go to Adobe.com, make sure I am downloading the one for WinXP/Firefox and install it, then it says that it is successfully installed. However, when I try to access the site, and it says that the current version of flash player is not installed, with a link to the adobe site to download the latest version (which I already did).
I have tried uninstalling the flash player, from both Windows and Adobe's uninstaller, and reinstalling with no success. I have even tried uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox, still nothing. For fun, I tried updating IE, and it works fine, but I REALLY don't like IE.
Another note: when I uninstall Flash Player, it doesn't remove it from my machine (add/remove program list), even when Windows asks, "Adobe ... is already uninstalled, would you like to remove it from the list?" Additionally, when I go to Adobe's Flash Player version tester site, it reports that IE is running version 10.0.42, but when I access it with FF, it shows a link to download the latest Adobe FP.

Registry problems when installing Flash Player

Hi, first of all, sorry for any misspelling, I'm Argentinian . I'm writing here because I've tried a LOT of ways and solutions to install Flash Player for IE, here some facts:
I mostly use Google Chrome, that has the FP already installed, but i have a problem with the ActiveX control, I can install Flash player 11 for windows but Not ActiveX... i read that that's a tool for IE, so i thought i wouldn't be needing it, but when i tried to execute a program (Game Ranger) it said that i needed ActiveX control and that i didn't have it in my computer.. So i started to check for solutions, etc etc. and finally give it up because i just couldn't do it, but well now I started again because I want to know if it's something important to have..
The problem when installing is this: It starts to download Flash Player.. then install it and when it's in 51% it stops and a message appears saying: registry error. this is what happens when I try to install ActiveX, not Flash Player itself because as I said earlier I can install it...
All I want to know is if there's some way to allow Flash Player installation to change registry values.. because i think that's the main problem.. i think. Thank you for reading.

Issues Installing Flash Player

I am having issues installing Flash Player 12 on IE11 running on Windows 7. Flash is enabled and it still doesn't work. Any suugestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cannot install Adobe flash player. the 'get+"installer keeps saying it cannot pass the integrity test.

have win xp, latest versions of firefox and adobe' flash player. It works on the Explorer, but firefox calls for a missing plugin. I need help with Adobe Flash Player, PLEASE!

I have been on multiple site trying to play games or watch videos (e.g. YouTube) and keep getting an error message saying I have to install Adobe Flash Player in order to play/view. I have done this multiple times and currently have Flash Player 11 ActiveX and Flash Player 11 Plugin. What more do I need to do because it still won't let me watch the video or play the games!
PLEASE HELP ME!
Additional info: I just wound up downloading Google Chrome (but don't like it) and don't have the same problem. So, it's only happening when I am trying to do all this on Internet Explorer 9.

Flash Player 16.0.0.296 working with IE 11 but not FireFox.

Running Windows 7 Home Premium. Control Panel shows both Flash Player 16 ActiveX and Flash Player 16 NPAPI installed. It is working with Internet Explorer 11 (with Compatibility View Settings) but not FireFox which I need badly. It had been working in FireFox but I believe update fouled it.
This is my third day trying to resolve this with many uninstall/reinstall. Somebody must have the answer!

Flash Player and IE 11 HELP

Hi, I am using a Windows 7, 64 bit computer with IE 11. Recently I lost all my flash player content within IE11. With-in the control panel it shows I have FP 16.0.0.305 installed but yet I can't see FP content. I've went into manage accelerators and both the Flash Object and Java Plug-in are enabled. So I've tried un-installing and re-installing and still do not see any FP content. I've tried installing older versions to try and just get it working in hopes of up-grading from there, but when they did install still no FP content and the failed installations I would get an error code of "1722"

Here's what I'd do:

Then I'd download the offline installer for the ActiveX control:

If you're still not getting Flash Content, I'd try resetting Internet Explorer's settings:

If that doesn't work, have you added anything else to the browser (ad-blocking, anti-tracking utilities, disabled JavaScript) that might prevent Flash from operating normally?
