No "send to" option in FCP to Soundtrack or Motion

I just found out the features of Soundtrack on the Apple website and so I wanted to try out the "send to" option in Final Cut Pro to work on an audio track in Soundtrack. But in every context menu or even if I try to send it to Soundtrack the options are grayed. The only possibility I'll get is to send by Soundtrack Pro Script, where there is an arrow but nothing behind. Same with Motion: No Send to option for this app too (Funny: Send to Shake will work, but I don't have Shake!).
I'm working with FCP 5.0.4 and Soundtrack Pro 1.0.1 - does anyone know about existing issues or problems with this?
So please let me know how to use this really usefull option between the pro apps. Thanks!

No Export to Motion Option in FCP

I've got a problem.
I'm trying to get this function to work... Export to Motion. I have FCP 5 (5.0.4), and Motion 2 (2.0.1) ... I upgraded a year or so ago from individual titles to the Studio Upgrade. I just can get the Export to Motion (even to show up/grey out...nothing) as an option in File>Export>Export to Motion. It just is not there. Nothing.
Any ideas? Update Preferences? Anyone? Anyone?

Probably not there in anyone's version of the software. Control click on a clip or set of clips in the Timeline window, and select Send to... that's where the command is!

There is one more option if u go vf03 give the billing document and go to issue out put , choose the print preview and go to text which is placed at top right side and click on that option there send mail option available. can we make active that option since it is showing in gray mode.

If your SAP system's Output is configured with the proper output type and SMTP or IMAP mail sending servers then its possible to send mail directly by clicking the send email tab.
I have a little knowledge about this technical congiguration. But we have solution manager from where we send mail directly to the user's Email.
And also yu have to configure Workflow setting.
Please take help of Workflow ABAP consultant.

Is there a way to get a "Send Page " option under the File drop down?

There is an option under the "File" drop down to "Send Link" is there a way to add a "Send Page" option?

Click-hold the unified Back / Forward button, or right-click it to get the Back / Forward history for that tab.

Sending FCP 7 Clips to Motion 5

Is anyone else having an issue sending Final Cut Pro 7 clips directly to motion 5? Whenever I attempt to do this, it opens in motion 5, but doesn't show up. It's in the timeline, but the window is just black. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it.

well it depends on the precise nature of the job in hand, but if there is a lot of multi layering, I might export as many movies as I have layers. Or if there are only a few extra bits and pieces I might add those to the end of the layer and cut it back up and reposition in Motion. Its not an exact science, and as yet there is no official integration between fcpx and M5 yet. There may be some third party xml solution, but to be honest most of the time its just as easy and more robust to export movies from fcp.

The "send link" option on File has stopped functioning - what do I do?

When I attempt to use the "send link" option under the File tab it does nothing. I need to copy the URL and paste it into a blank email

Shut down and restart the app...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red to delete the Messages app from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
- Restart the app

When sending to Color from FCP, my video is mostly black, with some green highlights.

I have a sequence of ProRes 422 (LT) and I'm trying to send to Color from FCP, however, when the project opens, the video shows up as mostly black, with most highlights green, blue and red -- but 90% of the frame is completely black. The weirdest part is, in the Color timeline, I can see the thumbnail for the video and it looks just fine.
Currently, I have a 2010 Mac Mini with 4gb of RAM and it's hooked up to my monitor through the HDMI port. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can send data with length greater than 255 character to the excel sheet as an attachment but the data will be displayed in the next line in the excel sheet.I think, Its not possible to display data greater than 255 characters in single line in the excel sheet via mail. For this you can use the following logic:
CLEAR lv_success_attach.

I tried it again using "save link as", and this time it actually worked! I just now downloaded several more using the "save link as" option, and it works perfectly. Thanks. Problem solved.

When right clicking to send a link , the` send link` option does not appear as n option on the menu list.

the ``send link`` option just disappeared..It happened immediately after an automatic update to firefox when my computer has to be restarted about a month ago.
sometimes a ``copy link location`` will be on the list...and that will allow me to send on a link..but normally now it rarely appears and send link has disappeared entirely from the right clicked menu box.

hello bblauman, mozilla does clean up the interface of the browser from time to time - a user study has shown that this context menu entry is only used by a small fraction of the users. however, in case you miss this functionality you could use an addon to recover it: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/send-link-in-context-menu/

Firefox will not open unless i reboot and the "send Link" option no longer works

after firefox is opened it works fine for awhile and then when i close the browser the desktop icon is unresponsive to o pen again unless i reboot. also, the "send Link" option, that always worked before, now does not.

I had tried this before, but went ahead and tried this again.
I clicked on "reset Firefox". Firefox closed, but did not come back up. When I tried to open it again, I did receive a message that said Firefox is running but is not responding, that I couldn't open another window without stopping the processes on the other page.
I never got a window that showed me the information that was imported, or a place to click finish.
Since I don't believe this completed, I don't believe my problem will be solved.

Yes as long as you have them both sync'd to OneDrive locally
Just create a short cut for the site library and paste into here:
C:\Users\{YourUsername}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo
Then go to whatever file...right click...sent to....site library

As the link said ,there are two different ways :
simple CORS requests and preflight CORS requests. Apart from this ,there is a feature called preflight cache mentioned . It can be used to reduce the request. Here is another link for reference:

To play on DVD Players, it has to be MPEG2.
It's under 2 hours; I'm surprised it won't fit. If not, get Compressor and lower the bit rate to fit.
The native resolution was 980X720…you mean 960?
It will all be resized to 720X480, which is DVD standard.

When you choose the Send Later option, where does the email go?

I wrote an email this morning which I did not want to send right away so I chose the Send Later option under the File menu. The email disappeared and now that I want to send it - I can't find it. It's not in drafts or anyplace else for that matter...
