No Senders Name for Messages

Hi All,
I have been having this problem for some time now over various different versions of PC Suite.
My messages sync fine with my PC and I can read them all and it is all correct, however in the "From" field when viewing from the PC I only get the phone number of the sender not the Name.
I have tried;-
syncing my contacts with outlook and with the phone browser.
making sure that the phone numbers all have +44 in front of them (to make the number exactly the same)
deleting everything and re-installing.
4 or 5 differnet phones over 2 or 3 years
I do not know for sure if it should show the senders name in the phone browser (although I beleive I recall it doing so some years ago...).
Can anyone give me any pointers as to where to go from here? it would be realy usefull if I could see the names rather than the numbers

As Sylvian pointed, metaverse has GUID assigned to every object.
But I am wondering something else:
I queried mms_metaverse in FIMSynch DB
Why are you querying database itself? Any operations strictly on DB are not supported as for querying and admin operations you have FIM Sync console...

Whenever 8700g displays an incoming call from a person from the address book, it adds (Work) next to it. Is there any way to make it not display the group name like that? It displays name then adds (Work) next to text messages senders also. Any way to disable that?

I suggest that you contact your wireless provider, and inform them of the issues you are experiencing. They should be able to assist you with resolving this issue.

New 4S won't recognize contact names for messages

I just got the new 4S iPhone (woohoo!). Everything synced to this new phone, including my contacts. However, it's doing this strange thing with the texts -- its not recognizing the phone numbers with my contacts. So, although I have the number stored under someone's name in my phone, the text is only showing the phone number .... What can I do to change this???
I even tried saying these text messages under the contacts name, but it still won't do anything.

I recently updated over the air to ios 5.1 over the air on my iphone. Now when I send texts to other iphone users, it is showing my old apple id as my identification on their iphones...instead of my name/mobile number shown in their contacts. I recently updated my apple id to a new email address because I changed carriers. Accessing itunes store with new apple id works fine.
So I send a text to my friend and he sees "[email protected]" instead of my name which is in his contacts. The same thing happens with other people with iphones. I have VW as my carrier. If I send texts to non iphone users, they show my name as listed in their contacts. So definitely an iphone to iphone issue.
I tried reprogramming the phone using *228 with VW and pressing 1. It hasn't helped. It also went back to normal for a day so I thought it was fixed, but is happening again now.
This is so frustrating. My iphone friends don't know who I am when I text them so they aren't responding!!!!

You are only as young as you feel......
This is an example of how you can select the exact content that you want to sync to your device. You do not have to sync the entire iTunes library. You can pick and choose the music, apps, books and so on that you want to sync. This is using music as an example.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on only the albums or playlists that you want to sync.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
You can do this with apps, books, movies .... Whatever .... You have the freedom to sync whatever you want.

This has happened for four CD's in a row now. Today, after importing some other CD's in the regular way, all of a sudden, iTunes won't recognize the Eagles - "Hotel California" CD, the Eagles "**** Freezes Over" CD, "The Best of Roy Orbison" or "Milestones" by Miles Davis.
What happened? Anybody know?

We've gotten the same error at the same time. I guess we need to let this play out. In the meantime, I'm gonna update iTunes.

Is there any way to get track information and artwork without Having to manually inter all the info?

iTunes gets track information from Gracenote's database, so iTunes must be able to reach gracenote.com and the CD must have been entered there by some purchaser already (all CD information in Gracenote is provided by we users). If these are common, commercially-distributed CDs, it may be that there is a firewall or privacy filter blocking access to gracenote.com. If these are unusual, independently-released or rare CDs, they just may not be in Gracenote yet. In the case of a custom CD where it's a compilation, Gracenote probably won't be able to identify them (it goes by complete albums, comparing the number and length of the tracks to try and figure out what album it is).

The Autoclose_FYI parameter is set to Y already.
Which parameter decides the end date for this type of notifications ? As we see end date is sometimes only 1 min and for others it is 20-30 days.
Earlier the supplier was receiving only FYI notifications like KPN - Standard Purchase Order 3039086, 0+. Now, he is receiving Closed notifications like Closed*: KPN - Standard Purchase Order 3039086, 0_. How come the supplier is suddenly receiving FYI notifications with prefix CLOSED ?

Chances are the senders are not in your contacts.

Pc suite restore not saving names for text message...

Hi, I have a nokia N95 and recently got the N95 8gb. I backed up everything from my original N95 using pc suite and then restored onto my new handset and i found that it has done everything except it has not saved the names with the text messages, just the numbers. The names are in the phone book and aren't duplicated. It has saved names for the my picture messages just not text messages. I am finding it really annoying!! I hope someone is able to solve this for me! Thanks

You can try to restore category by category: phonebook first then the text messages. I'm not sure if it works. But it seems to be caused by the wrong order of restore.

Hello everybody.
I have a WSDL file created by .NET and I want to generate the corresponding Java classes.
I am using JWSDP 1.5. I have created a config.xml as following:

I received in both cases the following exception:

Does anybody knows what is the problem?
