No service....not activated ???

I've had my iPhone since Christmas and today while driving to work, the phone said "no service". I turned the phone off and turned it back on only to see that it wanted me to connect to iTunes. Turned the phone off and back on and I then saw I had service. After just a few minutes, "no service" again. After multiple shut downs and turn ups, I've seen that I've had service only to last just a few minutes, seen that my phone is not activated and then activated and no service.
Is there some known issue that causes the phone to think its no activated? It's been working fine and have no idea why it started all of a sudden.

Hi David,
You can try toggling Airplane Mode in the Settings menu. This would force the iPhone to disconnect and reconnect to the cellular network.
Try contacting AT&T, there may be a service issue in your area.

IPOD touch 2nd generation is disabled. Restored on itunes. It had a message something about Apple Mobile Device Service is not activated. What does that mean?? How can I fix it???

Web service transported but not active in QA environment

Hi all,
In order to support a template document i've created a web service using the web service tool. All is working fine in DEV and all has been successfully transported to QA environment (I think). The web service objects have been included in the transport using transaction CRMOST_TRANSPORT and I see the web service in the web service tool in QA.
Problem is that the web service is not active. In the web service tool I see the web service and see that the Active status is still available to be selected. When I select it I get the following errors:
- Object type does not exist
- Not possible to get data for service object
- Activation cannot be performed in this client:
- Details Changes to Repository objects are not permitted in this client
I read somewhere that you have to do 'after import functions' for web services but don't know what!? Is it simply a matter of opening the client in QA and reactivating the web service in the Web Service Tool?

Ihave a question.
I created a webservice through CRM 7.0 Web Service Tool
ie we went to Component WS_DESIGN_TOOL and executed the component and we Launched the tool ,
using tool we created a Web service for Sales Order, Due to missing of some settings I guess it didnt ask for a Transport request and it went and saved in an ' Local Object'.
Could you please help in explaining as what steps we need to configure to make sure that the web service goes and sits in a Transport which is required in moving it to QA System.

MSE wIPS services - NMSP Connection active/not active

Recently deployed Prime Infra 1.3.0.20, MSE 7.4.110.0 and WLC 7.4.110.x.
The CAS and wIPS services are up but wIPS Profiles can't be push to controller.
Though when using GUI, NMSP is active..
..but when using CLI via /opt/mse/wips/bin/wips_cli, sometimes it will display no WLC found then seconds later it will display Pending donwload to controller, NMSP connection -> No response

I have a problem with Hyperion Shared Services (HSS) and Hyperion Performance Socrecard (HPS), my projecto from HPS appears like if not it was registered in HSS.
The error is: Registered application is not active at the moment. Please consult your system administrator.
The information was migrated from other server, now already run configuration utility and configurate my proyect, but not appears in HSS.
Optional: This is necessary for assign sercurity roles by Domain?

Did you have a passcode lock on it? Or did you have restrictions enabled? If not, it is very possible someone has found it, simple disabled location services in settings, and is using it. If you did not secure it, anyone with it can do anything they want with it as it is when found.

You should only need a SIM in it to actually activate it in iTunes. Once activated, leave the SIM in or remove it, it should not matter.

BSP - Service is not active

Hi all,
We are currently implementing Performance Management using Appraisal (MBO).
I have created a template that works fine in the R/3 backend but are having problems displaying anything via BSP - we are at 4.7
I have activated all BSP sites in transaction SICF and in SE80.
When testing the BSP Application hap_document via SE80 I get an empty page containing the message 'Service is not active'.
Does anybody know what I could have missed (is it not enough to just activate via SICF)?

The service is now active and I'm now able to test a BSP page (HAP_DOCUMENT).
This just creates a new problem.
When trying to create a new Appraisal document I'm presented with a list of appraisal templates that we have created.
When I click on create the system just waits for 60 sec. and then returns with time out.
Does anybody know which parameter we have to chang in order to increase the amout of seconds?

I can`t active EA-FS in BF11 because checkbox of EA-FS is unchagealbe, even others EA * applications are unchageable in BF11.

WD demo application: "Service not available" although service active

Hi everyone
I am new in Web Dynpro and while doing some tutorials I came across WD application DEMO_CONTEXT_PROP (package SWDP_DEMO). I wanted to test it, but I get error page "Service not available" and error code 403 "Forbidden". And if I test the service directly in SICF, I get error message SHTTP009.
The service itself is active in SICF, as well as the mentioned services in SAP note 1088717. And I can run other WD demo applications (such as DEMO_TABLE) without problems. Only this one is giving me problems.
The funny thing is that in SICF there are 2 services called DEMO_CONTEXT_PROP! One is greyed out, the other one is active. But even if I right-click on the one that is greyed out, is still says "active"!?

we had this issue some weaks ago. When upgrading a system to EhP3 SAP delivered a new WebDynpro ICF service which had already been delivered earlier in a support package.
Problem is that the name of the SICF service is not its key. The real key for the service is a generated GUID which is stored in the database. If you create a service and later SAP delivers it or if SAP developed in 2 different release stacks the service may appear dublicated as you have 2 different GUIDs for the service. If the service is there twice the system tries one by chance if you are unlucky it takes the inactive one and you get the 403 error.
Thanls to Ramp Up status we discussed this directly with development. Unfortunately there is no real cleanup / consolidation function yet. The straight forward solution was renaming one of the services. As you only use a Demo Web Dynpro ICF service any of them will work. Perhaps you have to activate the one which is not renamed (you cannot really choose which you rename as the SICF tree is totally confused by the 2 services).
If you have this trouble for a production service you need the SAP to tell you which service (which GUID) is the long term supported and rename the other (perhaps you have to rename, rename the other and then rename the first back). If you do not do this you get the same problem with every Support Package which touches the ICF Services again.
