"No Service" requires turning off and on again
Sometimes I'm somewhere where I know darn well there's a signal, but my iPhone 3G says "No Service". Turning it off and then back on again always gets me back onto the network, often with maximum strength showing.
Why does it not see the network the first time? And is there a faster way to restore service than powering it off and then back on again?

Are you using any accessories with the iPhone? If you are try testing without them.
If you haven't already update to the latest version of iPhone software, currently 2.2.1. This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414 will walk you through updating or restoring the iPhone.
If the issue persists after updating and removing the accessories, try restoring the iPhone.

My ipad2 is getting lazy with the wifi. On any router it doesn't get the signal by itself, unless I'm so close that the pad and the antenna are touching. Other solution, to turn off and on again the wifi button on the iPad. This strange behavior is new, before my iPad was blazing fast at getting any known wifi connection. Sme help please ??

Make sure you have the Current Version of iTunes Installed on your computer

After updating to IOS8, my iPad 2, which has both AT&T cellular and wifi, needs to be completely turned off and rebooted to get cellular service. Does anyone else have this issue ?

If you are having issues with your iPad not staying connected to cellular service, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
iOS: Force an app to close
Next, I would try restarting the iPad -
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPad as a new device -

HP Photosmart 7515 wireless printer reverts to Offline, won't print until turned off and on again.
All of the software is installed and it worked without any problem. The problem appears to occur after the computer has gone into standby. The only way I can get anything to print is to turn it off the printer and then turn it back on again. The troubleshooter simply tells me that the printer appears to be off (which it isn't) and tells me to turn it on. Is there any way to bring an offline printer back online without either rebooting the whole system or turning the printer off and on again? Needless to say, this is very annoying. I have never had this problem with any other printer.
CampValdez, did you ever solve your problem? I'm having a similar problem with a Photosmart 7525. I just returned a 7510 because of the same problem and now the 7525 won't work. I've spent the better part of 3 days on the phone with HP tech support to no avail and I'm ready to take the 7525 back. The software and printer have been reinstalled many times. I've changed the printer IP to a static IP. I've removed my Norton security software, I've tried to set it up on another computer, I've changed the channel on the router to channel 11 and nothing works for more than 10 minutes. The blue light on the printer indicating that it is on the network always is steady blue. I can get it to work by pressing the wireless symbol and then turning off the wireless and then turning it back on. When it's working I can access the printer from my web browser with the printer's IP. It seems once it goes to sleep, I cannot access the printer from the browser. Touching the screen and waking up the printer does not restore the communication between the computer and the printer. Since this problem persists with two printers and two different computers, I'm suspecting a router setting but I'm stumped. If you find your solution, I bet it's the same problem I'm having. It's unbelieveable that HP tech support seems clueless. A search shows this is not an uncommon problem.

M225dw 49 service error turn off and on
Just purchased m225dw printer. installed wireless connection to macbook pro without issue. recognizes printer but stalls during printing. message in status bar: printing: connected to printer. tried to print a test page from configuration page and got 49 service error turn on and off. please help.
I really wish I could help but I am afraid this is a bit beyond my level of comprehension. What I took from this was, you have to turn off the duel band feature to get the printer to work without that error message, correct? The User Guide may help you but when I tried to read it my mind was blown away by just how many settings could be adjusted to fit your needs. No need to do anything troulbeshooting-wise just yet. All I need for you to do is look at page 137 on how to set sleep delay and auto power down functions and page 132 for link and duplex settings and let me know if you think it could be something to do with these.
As far as a setting within the router, I do not know. I did find another user guide with very technical information in it. The Software Technical Reference hinted to bi-directional printing which basically turns off or on the print spooler if the printer was so big it was using up network resources but I am not sure of that at all (see Page 59 for an example). Page 89 and on is a brief introduction to the embedded web server but really these are just definitions, nothing new to report there.
This website hints that it may be a firmware error. Lastly, the only other thing I can offer as you have probably seen it yourself is another HP forum thread regarding your exact error. I know I won't be of much assistance but some hopefully is better than none. I'm just glad it works partially. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you but this is just a step out of my league. Good luck!

Did you reboot?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
My IPAD has a blank screen. It is on and working because I can hear the ping of my emails arriving. I turned off and on as best I could which is tricky as the screen is blank. I synced with itunes and checked for updates. All ok.
Screen is still blank.
I can reset the ipad but I did this a month or so ago and it took forever and it lost all of my music which then took forever to get back on properly.
SO If I can avoid this I would.

T410 System slow in bios post and turns off and on again during restart
I encountered this system when it came to upgrade from winxp to win7 at my company.
We want to have the same bios version on all systems and this one had an outdated bios so I did a upgrade to 1.35.
To finish the upgrade you need to press enter to restart the system. It took about 30 sek for the system to reboot after I pressed Enter. That was the first clue that the system was acting weird. After the bios upgrade I noticed that when a restart is initiated by the OS, the laptop shuts off for 10 sek and then turns on again. This then triggers Power On password. Normally there is no POP during restart.
I tried upgrading the bios to the newest version 1.36 but no change.

DisplayPort monitor doesn't wake up when turned off and on again
I have a Dell U2515h connected via DP to my Radeon R9 280X with radeon driver.
When I turn the display off with the hardware button and turn it back on, I don't get an output from the default screen - but the framebuffer console works.
The normal set up looks like this:

I can actually hold a key and it will take me to the logins and when I login I have to hold the key the whole time I'm on it or else it restarts. What do I do to fix this problem? Please help

Based on your description of being able to Safe Boot (holding down the shift key) but not boot normally, it sounds like your startup/restart issue may be related to one of the things that Safe Boot disables. You can find more information about them here:

I tried to put it on recovery mode but it doesnt work either. Before that, I tried to reset it using the reset options in the settings. Please reply as soon as possible
