No "service" tab in control key

Hi all,
We have a scenario for externally processed operation in production. Like we have a production order with 3 operations. last operation is externally processed. So we have created a externally processed control key. User requirement is service PR should be created from externally processed operation. But in control key configuration (OPJ8,OP67) there is no option for indicating service.
Whereas in case of network control keys (OPSU), there is a provision of ticking service.
Can anybody please suggest.

1. it all depends what we are doing >
2. In case if youa re working in discrete manufacturing / Rem then you will be useing this OPJ8 control key configuraiton.
here it is not used for service
3. in case if you are implementing Project systems / and network activities then you wil be using this OPSU
YOU CAN see the menu path will be clearly in 2 differnet modules.

Service WO through IW31 (Control Key-PM03)- PR gets work flow error

Hello All,
When we create a Service Work order (Control Key "PM03") through the operations tab in a Work Order(IW31), When we open the PR we recieve an error:
"Entry missing in table for Fund Center SP/"
The work flow recieves an error message and an email will not be sent out to be approved.
Any suggestions on to fix this.

Here is the error when we open the PR in ME53n or ME54n: "Entry missing in table for Fund Center SP"
We checked our work flow table and the SP fund center is correct.
When we create a service pr through me51n we do not get this error. Only when we create a service PR through IW31 (Control Key- PM03).

If it is a simple inspection plan for a PO-> GR scenario, create an insp plan with usage 5 in the header and in the operation use std control key QM01 which has insp char required setting by default. For the
slected operation assign ur required MIC with IM and samp proc.

Table control View in Maintenance order Services tab

Hi Experts,
I am trying to change the table control fields of the services tab of the maintenance order , when we use PM03 control key to generate services PR.
I try to remove some check box which are earlier defined as invisible to make it visible. However after saving the system variant system doesnt take the changes. It is coming back to the original .
Here are couple of fields I would like to change the setting. As of now I am trying to change the below mentioned field to visible . Presently it is in invisible mode.

Formula::ESLL-FORMELNR,
Form values: ESLL-FRMVAL1 to ESLL-FRMVAL5 and
User field3: ESLL-USERF1_TXT

I am following the below. Kindly let me know whether I am following the right step.
1) Click on tbale setting
2) CLick on administrator
3) Select the field and do the necessary change to make visible or invisible.
4)Activate
5)Close
6) save.

The IMG customizing will have greater priority than the screen table controls (also specific program logic can supersede the table controls). Check the customizing for service screen at following path:

Control key PS05 for Service activity in Network Profile

Hi,
I am creating a network profile in OPUU in which in activitie tab -> Services -> I am using control key "PS05" tos g plan and procure external services through Services.
but it is giving me error - The control key "PS05" is not valid. Message no. CS070
Can you please guide me in resolving the error?

Conformation Control Key for Service PO

Hi All,
I like to know that for Service PO, do we have any usage of Conformation Control keys. One I understand is the information purpose like the services will be provided from this date to this date. ANy other thing we can control from this key like service entry sheet.

I have been checking this issue in my system and it has allowed me to create a service purchase order with confirmation control, but it indeed works different than for normal purchase orders (=with material master).
In the case of services, I have been able to create and accept a service entry sheet without entering the relevant confirmation from the vendor.
In the case of materials this is not possible, and, in order to be able to enter and post a goods receipt, you need to enter the vendor confirmation if the purchase order item is subject to confirmation. Otherwise, the error message "Purchase order & has no items" is sent.
I do believe that this functionality has not been developed thinking in services, but I have not located any note or document which can confirm this.

PReq not generated from Service Order SM03 using Control Key SM02

Hi,
The PReq is not getting generated for Control Key SM02 for service order SM03. I am using PReq generation as "Immediately". The issue is I am filling all the required fileds in the External Processing Operation Popup Screen & saving my Service Order. After that when i check the Document flow - there is no Preq number & in Actual Data for External opration, i find the fileds i have filled in the Preq popup screen as blank (such as Material group, Purc. grp, cost element, vendor etc). I have checked the config also, but cant find any clue.

is it happening for this control key with other order types nd sm03 order type with sm03 ( external services ) control key?
is it possible to replicate it? it is also possible tht the order didnt get saved as the user didnt see some warning info in the bottom bar

Apple AL Bluetooth Keyboard - Tab, Caps Lock, Function and Control keys just stopped working

Hi All -
All of a sudden I get on my baby, 27" iMac OSX 10.6 and the some keys on the bluetooth keyboard do not work. Specifially the Tab, Caps Lock, Function and Control keys. I'm fine with the caps lock gone (why is it there?) but the others are useful.
I've searched all over for a solution but I haven't found one. Tried to upgrade the firmware which is fine, reset the PRAM done, checked the speech per apple support nadda.
Please help.

Go to System preferances > Universal Access > Mouse or Mousie and trackpad > and turn your Mouse keys off.
Then disconnect and reconnect your keyboard.
Note that you don't open your mouse under hardware in System Preferances, this is for a whole different group of settings

PM Operation - Services Tab Layout

All,
In a PM Order, I am trying to maintain the Field layout on the Services tab of the Operation Detail screens when I have the control key set with {X-"internally processed operation/external processing possible"}. With that setting in the control key, the "Gross Price" field is not visible. My objective is to have the field visible, but administering the layout through the transaction is not working.
Is anyone familiar with an IMG Activity that will allow me set the Services tab layout for that control key? It is not in the Operation Detail Filed Selection IMG Activity, and the screen field is "ESLL-TBTWR".

I understand that '' is the external services setting. But why does the 'x' setting change the layout of the services tab to not include Gross Price? The purpose of that 'X' setting is to allow for internal OR external processing. It won't generate a purchase req if the setting is 'x' but I'd expect to be able to enter gross price per unit in the services tab, just like it is for the '' external setting. Or I expect to be able to modify the tab layout.
(both cases the Service box is checked)
Any ideas why i can't change the layout of the services tab? Any ideas why the services tab changes depending on the externally processing option?

Control key PM02 and PM03

Hi Gurus,
I am littele bit confused with PM02 external operation from PM03.
By both control key i got PR but by PM03 PR ML81n happened,but PM02 PR neither MIGO/ML81N happened.
Then what is use of PM02 PR?? and in SPRO PM02 control key is having schedule ext operation and PM03 having service field..
what is feature of this field???Pls explain....

If you create an operation using control key PM02 a normal goods receipt of the resulting PO will act as the confirmation of the operation, a PM03 requires the creation or selection of a Service Package, this then requires a service entry sheet to
confirm the delivery, tx ML81N.
If you use a PM02 control key the system will create a free-text PR using the data that you entered.
The process flow is then PR->PO->GR->IR
With a PM03 control key you will see a new Servicessub-tab at operation level. Here you can enter multiple services of different UoM.
The process flow is then PR->PO->SES->IR

Default control-key for order operation.

Hi gurus,
My requirement is: in the order operation tab I want control key to be defaulted (say PM09) and user would be not allowed to change it.
For this I have created PM09 as control key in Work Center default values tab, but my second requirement to disallow user to change it is not working!
Is there is any specific setting, pls tell me how to do it.

Requirement: My Client is having some contract workers for some jobs like cleaning and fixing small issues and are paid via service entry sheet. Now how we can map these workers?
For this I made one workcenter (say 100MC) and in default values tab I assigned Control Key (say PM09, with settings confirmation possible but not necessary and indicators, Scheduling, Det. Cap. Req. & Print checked).
As this control key is marked default in WC it will be copied in order operation but problem is it can be changed irrespective of workcenter.
I want it to be defaulted and to be unchanged. If control is to be changed user has to change workcenter.
I am open for any solution via authorization objects or via user exit.

How to use the validation work in Both TAB and Mouse keys in Forms6i

Hi,
I have a validation script once it's validated it should execute the query.But using When-Validate-Item i can't use execute_query.I am able to use the validation in Key-Next-Item trigger but if the user moves the cursor using mouse then it's not working.
How to use the validation script working in Both Scenarios(Tab and Mouse keys).
Can anyone please give inputs to rectify the above issue?.

So you have multiple fields, but on at least one of them if it's valid you immediately want to execute the query?
You could create a hidden field in a control block Query_Now default 'N'. In a WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM on your item, if it's determined to be valid, then set Query_Now to 'Y'.
In a WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE at block level, check if Query_Now is 'Y'. If it is then execute the query (and set it back to 'N').

If you select all the songs you want to change, Be it one song or an akbum, or an Artist, Or Genre, or playlist. Then Right mouse click and Get Info. You then get a slightly different from normal Get Info box as this is the One for Multiple items.
In there have a look at the tags and see if the one you want to changes is in there. There are a few tabs so if for example you wanted to change the Media Type from Home Movie to Movie go to the Options tab and select Movie and OK and it will change the whole selection.

What can I do to prevent the control key from not working in the future?

Background:
I bough an macbook pro about 1 year and 3 months ago and after 9 months of usage my control key stopped working for about an hour or two.This happened every time I turned on or awoke my mac from sleep (lid down).I sent it to an authorized apple service center and they replaced the keyboard.Everything was fine for about 4-5 months when the same thing happened again, ctrl key stopped working but this time not when turning on my mac but at random times and for random intervals.I sent it again to the service center but they told me that this time it won't be for free because my 1 year warranty has expired.I should mention that in European Union and Romania (the country where I am from and from which the mac was purchased) the law is that any electronics device sold has to come with at least 2 years of warranty.Apple seems to ingore this law.
Anyway, after long conversations with apple uk on the phone they agreed to pay for the keyboard but not for the labor which was 70 eur ($100).It's not much but my 2 year warranty should have covered it.The sad part is that I have no guarantee that it's indeed a keyboard error and not something else, this might happen again in 4 months and I doubt this time apple would agree paying for the keyboard (which is 150eur) ($215).
I should also mention that before calling apple uk I tried apple's romanian number (listed on their site) and it didn't work on the 3 phone networks that I've tried (2 fixed and one mobile) which led me to believe that apple support is in fact a big joke.
Suffice to say that I will no longer purchase any apple devices or software, I regret purchasing mac os x lion just a week ago, when I will no longer use it because I intend to sell all my apple gear (timecapsule, iphone4, macbook pro) and buy stuff from companies that value their customers and respect their contracts.
My questions are this:
1) why does apple ignore EU and Romanian law?
2) what can I do to prevent this from happening in the future
3) can I request that my macbook be more thoroughly inspected? I suspect the keyboard is not the main problem and it will soon happen again as it happened two times already.
4) can I do something for the repair labor charge to be waved? It is illegal in my country to ask for one in this scenario...

Everyone reading your posts here is just another MacBook Pro user. We're all volunteers, not Apple employees. No one here can speak for Apple.
In my personal opinion, buying Apple products in a country where Apple has no stores and no corporate presence is a risk that the buyer takes knowingly. I don't think it's a wise risk, and I don't recommend that anyone take it. A small percentage of the products sold anywhere are going to have problems, and it makes more sense to buy an inferior product that can at least be serviced locally than to buy a superior product that may have to be sent thousands of miles for repair if anything ever goes wrong with it.

Confirmation control key issue

I would like to know under what circumstances can the confirmation control key be included in the line item of a PO after GRN is done.
I am faced with a scenario where the GR of the line item of a PO is done and their is a confirmation control key attached to this line item But I donot find any inbound delivery details in the line item nor does it look that the inbound delivery is deleted
This line item now need to be reversed ( but the system doesnot allow stating that their are no suitable line items available
(I tried 102Mvt Thru' MIGO)
Could you pelase guide me regarding this situation and suggest ways and means for PO line item reversal

Purchase Order Item Confirmations Tabstrips:
The confirmation control key controls the process subsequent to the creation of the PO.
E.g. For some important materials with long delivery times, you wish to receive advance information (via the shipping notification or inbound delivery) about the expected GR date so that you can include this information in the availability check.
The confirmation functionality is used to get better visibility & control over the goods receipts. Due to this requirement, when you work with confirmations, the system will not propose any quantity for MIGO unless any confirmations are entered in the PO. Also, MIGO will propose only such quantity for which the confirmation is entered.
In the purchase order, there is a field confirmation control key, following is its function extracted from text book.
1.The confirmation control key governs whether confirmations are expected for specific purchase order items and whether these confirmations are relevant for goods receipt or materials planning.
2. If a material document is to be created when the goods receipt posting for the inbound delivery is carried out, then the goods receipt assignment must be defined in the confirmation control.
How to set this field?
Configuration path:
SPRO -> MM -> Purchasing -> Confirmations -> Set up confirmation control or tcode OMGZ
Explain is there a necessity to fill the confirmation control, order acknowledgement & confirmation requirement. In STO normally we input the data for normal P.O.'s.only. If we input the above said data what happens if not what happens.
Confirmation gives the details of the shipping data, acknowledgement, delivery details etc......Overall view..
If it is used then Inbound delivery has to be created else GR is not possible...
VL31N--Inbound PO wrt PO/STO.(manual)..
If idoc /edi are configure, then everything will be automatic.
Confirmation Control is configured in SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Confirmations -> Setup Confirmation Control. The Confirmation Control should be assigned to the Vendor in Purchasing View (MK01/MK02). This it gets copied into the PO.
How to change the confirmation key in PO?
I have to change the confirmation key (in me23N) in the confirmation tab. It is working fine if there is no partial GR (entry in delivery schedule tab) against that line item. But if there is a GR entry against that line item its giving me a message 'confirmation key should not be changed'.
This is the standard of SAP....once GR is existing for the line then you can't change the confirmation key. To change, reverse the GR and change the key then Post GR again.
or
You can short close the PO line which you already have GR and create new line with remaining qty and enter new confirmation key.
