No shown apps on Privacy iOs 7

Here's the thing, after I reset the location and privacy. Then I wanted to save contacts that I dialed on phone but it showed me that this app does not have acess to your contact. You may enable acess on privacy setting. Then when I went to privacy then to contacts, no application appear above it. I also have the app for picture that cannot save to cameroll and I have to enable it first to privacy. Same with the contacts, no app appear. Please help me with my problem. Pretty please

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

Well, no. It's because that the iPod 4th Gen has iOS 6 and the apps need iOS 7. I suggest that you get the new iPod 5 because it has iOS 7. Also the iPod 4 does not have enough CPU or RAM. The new iPod 5 has enough CPU and RAM to store iOS 7 apps.

So I came across this forum as many others, just trying to find some answers as to why I can't or how I could get ios 7 on my 4th gen ipod touch... So I guess the answer is no, not possible and I suppose I can understand the reason as someone stated in another thread that it is because Apple does not want their users to have a bad experience and the 4th gen does not have the CPU nor the Ram for it to provide a usable and good experience... which leads me to the root of the problem. You see, I don't really care about ios 7 and any of its features, what I do care about is that I can no longer download some apps now because there is this popup that tells me that the app only supports ios 7 and I need to update my device to the latest software, ios 7. Tried everything. Reset my iPod touch to fresh version of iOS 6 and still issues. I believe that there is a bug.

I am having the same problem, but I think I might know what's causing it. I just updated my girlfriend's iPhone 4S (same phone as mine) to iOS 6 and was surprised to find that her app store is working just fine. When I opened hers, however, I did notice that the "Categories" and "Top 25" buttons are totally different; and those happen to be the two buttons that are not working for me. Mine shows the same that yours does, while hers has the "Genius" and "Charts" buttons in the place of the two that are not functioning for me. I believe these old buttons are no longer active and therefor are bombing out when attempting to access them.
Now I said I think I may understand the problem, but unfortunately I have no idea what the solution may be. Hopefully this tread doesn't fade away and our problem gets addressed.

It's not obsolete as much as the first gen simply lacks the power to run the newer operating systems. IT doesn't have enough RAM. If someone managed to hack it to get iOS 6 or 7 on there they'd just have a slow, boggy and unresponsive device. (think putting windows 7 on an old laptop.
Unfortunately software moves faster than hardware. Every thing goes obsolete. I've had my ipad 2 for two and a half years now and I know it only has so much longer left to it too. Just the 'joys' of advancing technology.

Two Apps crashing in iOS 8.02

After upgrading to iOS 8.02 my apps to stream the show OnBeing crashes when I try to listen to a story and my app for the American Heritage Dictionary 5 crash when I go into the search function. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've already deleted and reinstalled the apps and the crashing is still a problem. Any thoughts would be welcome.

The first thing to try is resetting your iPad. HOld down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and then try again.
Then you can try to force close the apps, forcing them to reboot and maybe fixing the issue. Double tap the home button. Flick the preview for all the apps up and off the screen until all you have left is the home page preview. Tap on that then try to reopen your apps again.
The last thing to do is a restore. You back up your device, then erase all content and settings, then restore from the backup you just made. If you've backed everything up you won't lose any data but you give both the apps and the iOS a clean slate.

After Updating iTunes to the latest SW, I connected my iPod Touch 3G to the computer then checked iTunes for any app updates, found those that could not be updated to the iPod alone - downloaded them - when complete iTunes synced to my iPod. Worked fine for me.
I have not installed iOS 5.0.1 - to many problems!!

Non-free apps in the iOS Free-Topcharts

since a couple of days I often see apps in the iOS Appstore's topcharts "free"-section, which are not free?!
Today there is a 4,49€ at the 1.place of the "free-charts". See screenshot...
How could that be?
If I decide to download one of these apps, what will happen? Will I have to pay the price, or is it free as the section says?
If one has to pay for an app, which is advertised to be for free, that would be a scam in my opinion...

"free app" and "free download" are the same thing when it comes to the iTunes Store. In either case, you are not charged for obtaining and using the app with the features available at the time of download. Some developers offer a "light" version of their app with fewer features as a trial version since the iTunes Store does not offer time-limited versions. The developer then may either allow you to buy additional features as an in-app purchase, or require you buy a different version of the app to get the full feature set.
I don't know what else anyone can tell you. And being rude to those who have tried to give you the information you're seeking will not be a winning strategy for getting assistance here.

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

I'm not aware of any apps that can open pdfs from iBooks, but I could well be wrong. There are a small number of apps that will open pdfs from emails, you can also open pdfs from some applications ike dropbox which has an iOS app so you can access any document you can open on iOS and sync between devices and computers.
