Is there any Permanent solution for No SID Value Found?
Transaction Data First with out Master Data.
Can u explain clearly for this Issue.

Hi,
When I run a query on a remote multiprovider , though the SID value exists in the SID table, I get this error message.
I tired all the options of running the SID conversion for 0UNIT in RSRV. Its fine, no errors.
Also ran the consistency check for dimensions of the cube.
I ran thru LISTCUBE for the same selections i made in the query.
Basically the query has a selection on the key figure which has unit as 0BASE_UOM which has restriction on a date field which is a NUMC datatype with 8 characters.
If I remove the date field the query runs fine but no value is retrived and is blank for key figure.
I see data existing for the selections I have made in the query.
Any idea why it happens only when there is a restriction on the date field. Though date is populated and the key figure too.

Request your help for the following issue observed.
Please find below the details of the issue observed:
Scenario: A flat file upload in and ODS with field Alternate Unit of Measure (mapped to 0UNIT)
Issue: While activating the data in the ODS (Transformation, RSDS transaction datasource), it gives an error stating 'No SID found for value 'FOZ' of characteristic 0UNIT'.
Measures tried: Transferring Global Settings, Checking in the table 'T006', Checking the format of the flat file.
May I please request your help for the above issue at the earliest.

Same issue here.
I've checked the entries in 0UNIT SID table: The unit "xxx" is not present.
But this unit is present in T006 table, with no specific option.
The update mode for Master Data on SPRO is : "Create master data if Not avalaible (Auto_sid)"
The update mode in infopackage is "Always update data, even if no master data exist for the data"
I've used the "Rebuild tables" mode for Units of measurement for my source system.
The tried the simulate update for my datapackage.
==> No errors
==>deletion of package on the data target
==>manuel update of data from the package
==>change to green
==>check the 0UNIT SID table : The unit "xxx" is now present !

There might be a case wherein transaction data is loaded without being master loaded first.
So there is no SID found to link up to the Rt master iD.
U can solve this By
1) Reload Master and then Transaction properly again
2) Even if u laoded correctly and in appropriated sequence,, then u can do the following
goto T-code RSRV>elementary tests> SID values in X and Y tables,>double click> Enter ur Master Object and then transfer,,
This shud solve the problem of NO SID valu

Unable to find the SID value

While extracting the data from R/3 system, i get the error as unable to find SID value.
Error message :
No SID found for value u201CBTu201D of characteristic 0Sales_Unit

Hi,
IT usually means that you are uploading a transactional data with some entries which are not maintained in master characteristics objects.
System tries to check the sid's which are not there due to unavailability of that master data entry and hence gives the error.
Make it a habbit to upload master first and then transaction data .That should help.

Hi,
SID error comes during activation of ODS because the related MD is not available for assigning SIDs.
Whenever Master Data is loaded SID's are generated for those Master Data records.
Now when you load Transaction Data these SID's will used (for the records which use above master data values). This results in performance gain.
If Transaction Data is loaded first than the system checks for SID's. If they are not available system generate SID's. This results in a loss of performance.
Now in the case if you don't have the setting selected (Further Processing Without Master Data/Always update data, even if no master data exists for the data) system will throw error No Sids found and load will terminate.
So as a first step ensure that the related master data is loaded and Attribute change run has been triggered.
OR
Load the MD and Activate the MD (Modeling > InfoObject > Search the Infoobject > Right click > Activate Master Data)
Once you perform this you can retrigger the activation. It should work fine.
Else as a workaround you can blank out these particular values and activate.
There is also one more workaround wherein you can create the Master data entries directly in BW itself. But both the above step should be done after consulting Business and considering data volume that needs to be edited/created.
In most case once you perform the loading and activation of MD your activation should work fine when repeated.
OR
In the infopackage goto Update Tab and make the setting Update the records even if no master data exist and reload

SID Value Missing - Error

Hi All,
DSO Activiation is sucessfully completed.But unable to execute reports based on this DSO.
In RSRV Test it is giving Error that "SID values missing for 1 specifications of characteristic 0DOC_DATE"
This error occuring for only Date Objects.
Please give some solution.

I am new to Siebel and installed Siebel 8.1.1.11 on RHEL 5.5 (64 bit). Everything is fine Siebel server and gateway server are up and running but i am unable to open login page.

I can connect to Siebel Server manager using command as : srvrmgr /g 192.168.0.163 /e Sieb81 /u SADMIN /p SADMIN
ODBC connectivity is also ok and i can connect as : ./odbcsql /source Sieb81_DSN /u SADMIN /p SADMIN
While installing Siebel i had left one step i .e.. creation of siebenv.sh using CreateSiebSrvrEnvScript because i got error when executed this script as :
Execution command : ./CreateSiebSrvrEnvScript /u01/siebel/ses/siebsrvr 192.168.0.163:2320 ENU Oracle
Error : cp: cannot copy a directory, '/u01/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/locale/' , into itself , '/u01/siebel/ses/siebersrvr/locale/C/locale'
Please suggest me what to do because if i want to configure again the same issue with CreateSiebSrvrEnvScript.

Hi Prameela,
You can see all application objects are online and running. One more thing I have also checked ODBC is also working fine. I mean , user SADMIN can connect using ODBC.

Line item dimension wont insert sid values in infoobject sid table

Hi all,
I have a strange problem, whenever I load data into a cube which has a line item dimension on 0customer without first loading the master data I am getting inconsistency in RSRV saying that no corresponding DIMid exists in sid table.
So there are Dimids in the fact table but the dimension table, which is same as the sid table in the the case of line item dimension, doesnt have them.
Can someone explain me why is this happening? I thought if a characteristic value doesnt exist in the master data but comes in through the transaction data it inserts the same in the sid table.
Is there a different rule for line item dimensions? Can someone point me to some OSS or documentation?

To clear up a few questions:
1. What I mean by <i>"So there are Dimids in the fact table but the dimension table, which is same as the sid table in the the case of line item dimension, doesnt have them"</i> is:
the line item dimension table /bic/D<cubename>9 which is really a view on the sid table for characteristic /bic/s<ch. name> does have all the sid values (or all the dim values) as the fact table.
So fact table has more entries for that dimension than the sid table.
2. Yes we are facing reporting errors where we cannot drill down by that infoobject and LISTCUBE doesnt show us any cube data when that characteristic is chosen for display.
3. I have checked notes where it seems to be a RSRV bug but in our case it doesnt seem to be as observed in the actual table mentioned in #1
Now it is apparent that I am right both from help.sap.com link and what I am observing that for line item dimensions master data HAS TO BE LOADED FIRST for the characteristics used as a line item.

No values found in sxmb_moni

Hello together,
We are communicating with different sap application system over ABAP proxies.
But in the sxmb_moni on application system we can not choose any service in the selection in the xml monitor. The same result is for choosing the interface namespace.
We got no business system back from f4 help back.
This message is display:
No values found
Message no. DH801
Have you some idea, what are going wrong on the system.
Must be in the sxi_cache the status green on the application system?
Is this an authority problem?
The sldcheck works on the system and the interface also.

I am talking from the sxmb_moni of an erp system for example.
The manually way is not the best solution, because between the systems are configured the sld communication. Over the sldcheck the erp knows all business systems.

For Current Cal Quarter and Last Cal Quarter i have text variable &ZZCALQTR& and inside i have restricted 0CALQUARTER.
ANd i have used
different offset for )CalQuarter in individual cell definition.
So, it is giving me this error
No value found for text variable ZZCALQTR in "&ZZCALQTR&".
what should i do...any solution

i think u r exeuting the Query without providing any value in selection screen.then it displays the error message which u mentioned...just enter some value in selectionand try it..

No value found for Text Variable

Hi All,
I have 2 different variable created on 0VERSION. One for user entry and second one is text variable with replacement path as "text".
I have 3 different columns in the report.
One is Restricted KF, based on user entry variable. Heading of this column has to be Result (&ZVERTXT&), where ZVERTXT is my text varaible.
Now, in second column I m using formula to calculate percentage. Heading of this column is &ZVERTXT& (%).
Now, in third column i m again using formula using the same KF as in first column. But this time, in the heading this text variable thorws "no value found error"
can anybody help me out in this issue.. ??

This is the proble to get value for text variables with Replacement path ,in case system is getting 2 reference values .So it get confusion and says that <i>No value found for Text Variable </i> .
So as a work around :
Instead of a text variable with automatic substitution(replace ment path) from another characteristic value, you can also create a text variable that is filled by a customer exit.In the code you assign the Text value by looking into TEXT table with the value you got from User entry variable( which is used in first Restricted KF).

Hi Experts,
I am creating a Service transaction - Incident and then creating a follow up document (RFC). Upon saving the follow up document the system shows the following error:
An error occurred in system FEDCLNT200 during account assignment
Message no. CRM_ORDER_MISC 060
Orgfinder: No value found for Organizational Unit BILL_ORG (Notification E CRM_OFI 002)
I am not using any billing unit and do not even require one - also made settings for billing unit in Master data>Organization Management> Cross-system assignment of Org.Units... but still facing the same error

Hi Amit,
It has been a long time since I have seen this issue. As far as I remember, and also mentioned in my answer, if distributing the document to another system is not part of your process / requirement, then simply switch off the distribution via status management and transaction control.
Select the status profile and add transaction control to the status on which the error shows up.

DIP profile:"No values found" in the sales inquiry

Dear all.
I create an sales inquiry with one item.In the Sales B tab of item detail,I want to input DIP profile.But when I press f4 in the field of DIP profile,the sap show me a message "No values found".So I enter tcode ODP1 to maintain the DIP profile.There are 2 default DIP profile in the sap.I select the "BILLPLAN" and click Usage subtree and add one new line with Sales Doc. Type "IN".Then I go back to sales inquiry.
But the sap still show me a message "No values found" when I press f4 in the field of DIP profile.
So I need the experts give me some useful advice and reference to resolve the problem.

We have an input ready row on an empty plan cube. When F4 is pressed to facilitate data entry into the cell, the values in the master data table are not displayed (which is what I expected). I have experimented with the InfoObject settings on the Business Explorer tab.
In the query, the settings for the characteristics are:
Access Type for Result Values: Posted Values (but I get the same results even if it's set to Master Data)
Query Execution for Filter Value Selection: Values in Master Data Table
Any/all suggestions are appreciated.

Hi Pam,
I think you are using BEx Analyzer. The settings of the query will not be taken as the default in BEx Analyzer. In the BEx Analyzer F4 help one can change the settings for the F4 help 'read mode': Press the settings button in the upper right corner of the pop up, go to the second tab. Here one can switch to 'master data'.
I think in new lines this is the default. The effect with 'no values found' I observed only in the filter item.
