No Sign of Compressor files in preferences

I have been having trouble with compressor since sometime in the spring (Mac OS X V10.5.5) I had been trying all of the suggested fixes (pacifist and all of that) Then i just gave up on it. I am back to trying to work with it and was going to trash the files in preferences and notice they don't exist. I tried reinstalling FCP and still they don't show up. Any clues?

Open a Finder window. Click on the house icon with your name on it.
Click the folder "Library" then "Preferences".
The file you are looking for is called "com.apple.compressor.Compressor.plist".

Quit - or force quit - Aperture, if it is still trying to transfer MObile Me content.
Then relaunch. When the "Mobile Me has ended" panel appears press the "Learn More" button, not the "o.k." button.
Then you should be able to open the Preferences in Aperture and and open the "Web" panel. Remove "Mobile Me" from the Accounts pane.
Then also open the System preferences > Mobile Me panel and check if you are still signed into Mobile Me.
If this does not work, try to disconnect from the Internet before you launch Aperture again.

It sounds like if you open Preferences in Word there will be a place where you can specify where to store autorecover files. Right now it sounds like it's pointing to somewhere that doesn't exist.

(The x64 would most likely mean 64 bit). It may be a Windows based application/plugin, but since I had never heard of either, I'm only guessing there. If you do a search systemwide for it and don't find it plus don't know why it's there, I'd say throw it in the trash (don't empty it yet - make a note of the file path just in case you do have something installed that needs it so you can move it back).
Glad to hear it's not a torrent; some people use those not realizing that quite often there is a price to pay for downloading stuff for free that costs money elsewhere - the software packages quite often include little "add-ons" = malware which you really don't want.

when i try to sign my certificate file:
"keytool error: java.lang.Exception: Alias <server-alias>
has no (private) key"
After I execute the following commands:
creating a keystore
<JAVA_HOME>\bin\keytool -genkey -alias server-alias
-keyalg RSA -keypass mypass -storepass mypass
-keystore keystore.jks
exporting the keystore into server.cer
<JAVA_HOME>\bin\keytool -export -alias server-alias
-storepass mypass -file server.cer -keystore keystore.jks
creating a trust-store file:
<JAVA_HOME>\bin\keytool -import -v -trustcacerts
-alias server-alias -file server.cer
-keystore cacerts.jks -keypass mypass
-storepass mypass
then When I try to sign my certificate with this command:
keytool -certreq -alias server-alias -keyalg RSA
-file <csr_filename> -keystore cacerts.jks
I get the exception:
"keytool error: java.lang.Exception: Alias <server-alias>
has no (private) key"

I'm trying to sign PDF file with SAPCRYPTOLIB. I'm 4.7 sap version.
It's possible to do this?????....
My question is because I've done all steps to sign a pdf, without errors, and the pdf generated is not signed.
Can anybody to say me if it's possible to sign a pdf file with ABAP???

Signing a PDF file

Hi all.
I want to sign a pdf file.
1.- u2019ve generated the PSE file in my system and Iu2019ve validated it. Iu2019ve inserted my certificate in the pse file.
2.- Iu2019ve created a program how converts a spool to PDF format (FM CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF ).
3- I use the FM SSF_GET_PARAMETER to get my pse parameters.
4.- I use the FM SSF_KRN_SIGN_BY_AS to sign the pdf data. This FM generates a signed data in binary type.
5.- I Verify the signed data with FM SSF_KRN_VERIFY. The validation is good.
6.- I generate the pdf and download it with FM GUI_DOWNLOAD. I use the binary signed data ( Generated in FM SSF_KRN_SIGN_BY_AS ) in this FM.
The problem is with the pdf generated. I can open it and I can read it without problems but I donu2019t see the sign in this document.
The pdf document signed is with un 1Kb more than the pdf not signed ( there are more information ) but the sign not appears .
I'm using SAPCRYPTOLIB and my SAP version is 4.7
Can you help me , please??? What is my error ??

Signing a pdf file causes crash

I've been having some problems with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro for Windows when signing a pdf file, on Vista, related to a module called Stackhash, and I have no idea what it is. Has anyone had problems like this?

I am having the same problems trying to sign in Acrobat 9 as well. My pc is running on Vista also. But I'm using and ePad with IntegriSign software. The program crashes and closes every time I drag and create a signature box. The software works fine in other programs such as Word but not Acrobat 9. I hope someone will be able to help me figure out how to fix it. Thanks!

Power book G4 Leopard 10.5.8. File sharing preference checked but not working after start up until unchecked and the rechecked?

I hope the title is enough info, please ask. In the mean time I have created an applescript to open preferences/ sharing and uncheck then check the file sharing box. This works but I would obviously prefer it just work normally. I have no corrupt preference files. Perhaps a file is missing? Thank you.

Signing a jar file

Guys, I've googled the crap out of this one. I need some help signing a jar file.
Here is what I'm doing:
1. Generating a key:
keytool -genkey -keystore myKeyStore -alias myName2. Trying to sign the jar file:
jarsigner -keystore myKeyStore -storepass myPassword -keypass myNamePassword myJar.jar myNameHere is the error I'm getting:
jarsigner error: java.lang.RuntimeException: keystore load: Invalid keystore formatI'm using Ubuntu Linux.
I wrote and built my project with Netbeans.
Any ideas?

How to sign multiple jar files using the same certificate..?

I want to run my application using Java Web Start.. i am using around 16 different jar files out of which around 13 are 3rd party component jars. I want to sign these jars using the same certifcate..., i am using the follwing code to sign the jars:

Well for mulitple signing of jar files you can use ANT tool. Its easier and faster.
Regarding the present problem -- hmm.. well it looks like you are using 2 different alias names for signing the jar file. Try using the same alias name and that might solve your problem.

How to add this prefix without having to break my signature?

Saving the Compressor file after it is encoded?

I just encoded some QT files as M2V. I was prompted to save the changes to the document within Compressor before closing it. Why would I want to save the Compressor file?

If you are continually encoding files being saved to the same location, you can save the batch and re-encode the updated files with one click...
For example I encode the day's edits to mpeg2, if I export to the same location and resubmit the batch I get that day's mpegs (although you have to delete/rename the others or Compressor complains).
