    I need to find my iPhone how do I sign into my cloud to find it?

    Howdy Danny,
    You should be able to find that lost iPhone with the Find My iPhone. It will let you locate the iPhone on a map or play a tone in case it’s under a couch cushion.
    To learn more about how it works and the features, take a look at this article:

  • Sign in Error: failed to find service connection url

    Greetings!
    On my Windows desktop, when I try to sign into iTunes, I receive the following error:
    "ConnectionManager::invoke::failed to find the service connection url"
    I have seen all of the threads indicating other people had success when signing out, then signing in again.  I have not had any success with this.  I have unistalled iTunes, reinstalled, but the problem still avails.
    The baffling thing is that I am able to sign in to iTunes just fine using my Macbook.
    Any ideas?  Thanks!

    Fixed it.  I had to completely remove iTunes, reboot, rename my Music directory (which contains the itunes library), create a new Music folder, reinstall iTunes, reboot, and then it worked again.  What a pain!  Now I'm in the process of reimporting all of my media... but I can successfully sign in to iTunes.

  • Cannot change iCloud ID in iOS8 - Can't Sign Out without turning off Find My iPad - which needs the password for the old iCloud ID

    I have read the older responses to questions re how to change the iCloud account from an old ID/email address (OLD ID) - to a new ID/email address (CURRENT ID).  They all say go to Settings>iCloud - and Delete the iCloud account.  In iOS 8 - there is no Delete - but there is a Sign Out.  BUT - when I choose the Sign Out it shows a pop-up with the OLD iCloud ID - saying I must first sign IN to iCloud and enter a Password Required to turn off the Find My iPad feature.
    I have tried using the password I remember as being correct for the OLD iCloud ID.  Doesn't work.
    I have tried using the password for the CURRENT ID - even though the pop-up has the OLD ID displayed.  Doesn't work.
    I'm out of ideas - except Reset??
    Should I Reset All Settings?

    I finally found a work-around in another thread on this Using iPad community.  Basically, I had to first make sure that the Messages and Facetime were associated with the CURRENT/NEW ID.  (I could do this by simply erasing the OLD ID and typing in the new - in General>Messages and General>Facetime.  I then used by PC to change my Apple ID back to the OLD ID/EMAIL - but leave the new password alone.
    I then went back to Settings>iCloud - clicked on Sign Out.  When it asked me to log on -- with the OLD ID/EMAIL -- to turn off the Find My Phone - I did so using the Password that was originally used with the CURRENT/NEW ID.  This worked.  So I finally was able to close out of the iCloud account that used the OLD ID/EMAIL.
    I then went back on my PC to change my Apple ID back to the CURRENT/NEW ID/EMAIL.
    I then went back to the iPad Settings>iCloud - and signed on using the CURRENT/NEW ID/EMAIL.
    So everything is OK now.
    WHEW!!!
    Not sure why this has to be so difficult.  But thanks everyone for your suggestions.

  • Single Sign On - SAPSSOEXT - Can't find Dependant Libraries

    HI
      I am trying to implrement SSO to another server running in IBM Websphere 5.1
    In my java code System.LoadLibrary fails for SAPSSOEXT and error message is "Can't find Dependant Libraries"
    concerned java code is
    public static String SSO2TICKETLIBRARY = "sapssoext";
    try {
    System.loadLibrary(SSO2TICKETLIBRARY);
      } catch (Throwable e) {
    System.out.println ("Error during initialization of SSO2TICKET:\n" + e.getMessage());
    Both of  sapssoext.dll and sapsecu.dll are in c:\windows\system32 folder and I have downloaded the files relevant to my OS from SAP service marketplace.
    Version of sapsecu.dll 6400.243.0.0
    and version of sapssoext 5.4.28.5
    I have used SAPSECULIB54_3-10002911.SAR
    and SAPSSOEXT_4-10002921.SAR for those files
    OS where IBM websphere is run is Windows 2000
    c:\windows\system32 is very much in the path and undoutably it finds sapssoext.dll. Probably it requires some other dependant dll.
    How can I trace to find which library is missing
    Regards
    Saurav

  • Signed in by can't find dialpad or contacts

    I just bought a new laptop and downloaded Skype and signed in with my UN and PW.   Instead of the familiar page with my contacts on the left, as well as my Skype credit, and the dialpad on the right, , I get a page with just the Skype  credit.   "My Account" contains no contacts or dialpad and there's not clue as to where to get these. Why can't I just get the familiar page and start Skyping???

    You will not have access to your contacts or call options from your Account page on the web.
    You need to start the Skype application installed on your computer an sign in to this application.

  • I'm just trying to get into my account on iTunes and retrieve the mp3s I lost when my hard drive crashed and there's no clear button for signing on that I can find anywhere.

    It's all in my title.  Why do these companies and programmers have to make everything a hide and seek game?

    If you had the MP3s on your hard drive, just what exactly makes you think that signing in somwhere is going to restore them from a dead drive?
    All you can retrieve from the iTunes store would be what you purchased there, and for that, you need to log in with the same account info you used previously.

  • Can't sign in to FaceTime.   Internet connection working for other things.  How can I solve the problem?

    Hardware - iMac 27 inch (Model 11,1 - late 2009), Processor 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, Memory 16 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, OS X 10.9.3 (13D65), Storage Capacity 2 TB (Available 1.86 TB)
    Background
    (1) Me - I'm 72 years young, and am trying desperately to catch up with computer-literate youngsters.  Downloaded Mavericks last winter, but then was in hospital, so am only just getting to grips with the further reaches of all the software.   One of these is FaceTime, which I never managed to get working before Xmas, and have started to attempt it again now.
    (2) The problem - Upon startup of FaceTime (FT), the only thing that appeared in the Right Hand Sidebar (RHS), was a message stating that FT was switched off, alongside a big slide switch, and above both was a spinning wheel (spokes) and the title Preferences.   I slid the switch to ON, and the well of the switch glowed a brilliant blue.
    I waited for several (perhaps 5) minutes, but nothing changed, the switch continued blue, and the Preferences' wheel kept spinning.   There were no other boxes or info in the RHS, so I then checked the FT menu, and found that Preferences was greyed out, and the FT Help pages only described a normal signing in,   I couldn't find a trouble shooting section.
    So, I decided that the next step was to switch the FT programme off, and then back on again. there was some progress.  Now the RHS was showing the signing in boxes.    So I filled them in, but got back the answer "Could not sign in.  Please check your network connection and try again."   Checked the connection, tried a couple of web sites, all appeared OK.   Tried signing in again, same result.
    Tried creating a new account.   That took some time, because my first attempt at an answer was over 32 characters long, and I had to rethink.  Once the new answer was typed, a message came up (with words to the effect of) this name is already being used, so it's not a separate account (which I accepted), and the RHS changed to the signing in boxes again.
    So I tried signing in again, but received the same message "Could not sign in.  Please check your network connection and try again."  I tried again a couple more times, but always with the same result.   So my Questions are:-
    (1) What's happened?
    (2) Was it caused by something I did?
    (3) What needs to be done (or What do I need to do) in order to get FaceTime working?
    Any help will be very gratefully received.   Yours

  • Changing my Apple ID name requires closing Find my Phone under the old original Apple Id, which no longer exists.

    I changed my Apple ID to my current email. I tried to sign out of all iphone apps which were open under the original ID, and then sign in again with the new ID. The ICloud app will not let me sign out until I close "Find my Phone", which pre-populates a sign out with the old original Apple ID, asking for just a password. I can't sign out, because the original ID no longer exists.

    It still exists. You just need to reset the password for that ID. If the email address associated with that ID (which may not be the same as the user ID) does not exist, you may have to call Apple and ask for Account Security.

  • How to use Find my Mac on a different iCloud account?

    I have my own iCloud account set on my mac and on my iPhone, however on my iPhone, I manage to use my dad's iCloud account so he can use the find my iphone app on my phone. I do this while still having all other icloud stuff (eg. imessage or app store) with my own icloud account/apple id (not my dads). However I recently bought a macbook air and Im trying to set up the find my mac on icloud but for some reason, i can only have one icloud account at the same time, and i wanted to have my dads icloud/apple id for the find my mac and my own apple id for the rest of the stuff. Does anyone know how to do this?

    You can see the locations of your devices and take additional actions by going to http://www.icloud.com, then signing in and clicking on Find my iPhone.

    Hey tyjox,
    Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you need to deactivate Find My iPhone on a device that does not work. You will need to work with the family member of the account the iPhone is registered with. I would recommend that you use this article to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

    Hi I have an iPhone 4 and suddenly it stopped working. Could here notifications and nothing on the diisplay. Wake up  button on top is not working. so unable to restart the phone. Wanted to try restore from iTunes but Find my iPhone (iCloud) is on. How to recover or restart my Phone

    Follow these steps to log into your iCloud account on your computer and deactivate "Find my iPhone" on your device:
    Remove an iOS device or Mac on which you can’t turn off Find My iPhone
    If you can’t turn off Find My iPhone on the device, turn off the device so it goes offline, then remove it from Find My iPhone on iCloud.com.
    Note:    You can also remove your iOS device by first erasing it—just follow the instructions below for removing an iOS device you don’t have. You can later restore the device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.
    Turn off the device you want to remove.
    Sign in to icloud.com/#find on another computer with your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud). If you’re using another iCloud app, click the app’s name at the top of the iCloud.com window, then click Find My iPhone.
    Click All Devices, select the offline device, then click Remove from Account. If you don’t see Remove from Account, click All Devices again, then click the Delete button next to the device. If the device comes online again, it will reappear in Find My iPhone. If your device reappears, turn off Find My iPhone on the device (follow the instructions above for removing a device by turning off Find My iPhone), or if it’s an iOS device and you no longer have it, follow the instructions below for removing an iOS device you no longer have.
    Remove an iOS device you no longer have
    If you no longer have the iOS device because you gave it away or sold it, you need to remotely erase it before you can remove it.
    Sign in to icloud.com/#find with your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud). If you’re using another iCloud app, click the app’s name at the top of the iCloud.com window, then click Find My iPhone.
    Click All Devices, then select the device.
    Click Erase [device], then enter your Apple ID password. Because the device isn’t lost, don’t enter a phone number or message.
    Note:    If you’re trying to erase a family member’s device, that person will need to enter his or her Apple ID password on this device. If the device is offline, the remote erase begins the next time it’s online. You’ll receive an email when the device is erased.
    When the device is erased, click Remove from Account.All your content is erased, and someone else can now activate the device.
