No signal anymore

We have 2 droid Razr 4G phones in our household. We previously got limited service as we aree in a weak signal location. Bought a booster....3 weeks ago we lost all signal and Verizon is unable to explain why. Our friend who uses Verizon also, has an Iphone 3G and gets 5 bars at our home. We use her phone to call customer service, to be on the line for an hour at a time, to get no resolution. At this point I feel Verizon could care less about us. They say it is impossible for another Verizon user to get signal while we don't and they say the Razrs have a better signal than the Iphone. Frustrated and ready to go to AT&T. They had one of us download a whole new something......and we lost all contacts, photos etc....and still no signal. The booster does not even recognize a GPS signal. Verizon SUCKS!

I also noticed an issue with my Razr Maxx... I am beyond my 14 day period as well so I am stuck with it now, service was good at the beginning now a month in I have terrible reception , I am also in a 4g area, and they better do something or I am gone and taking my company and all 200+ lines with me, $4,000 a month on VZW and the network is down more than its up

My computer can't find the Airport Express signals anymore

I'm having some weird issues with my MacBook connecting to my Airport Express at home. 2 years ago I installed my new Airport Express and made a WPA Personal security password as recommended. Everything worked fine until Sunday my computer seemed to not find the signals anymore. I have tried all types of problem solving from the book and other places, but nothing seemed to help.
The weird stuff is that my other 2 Mac computers have no problems connecting. The others the signals fine.
My computer picks up all other wireless signals from the neighborhood.
How can this be? I did nothing but turn my computer on and off and suddenly all "domestic signals" are non traceable any longer?
I hope someone can help me; I am, as you probably can understand not a computer literate exactly.

I have to switch between my internet 2Wire network and the AX base station network I created.
If you configure the AirPort Express (AX) to join the wireless network provided by the 2wire you won't need to switch back and forth. There will only be one wireless network.
My husband wanted to print with his MacBook Pro the same way, and so we tried to configure the base station on his computer.
That was not needed. Once the base station is configured, any wireless client can join the network without needing to run any AirPort software.

WRT54G(ver.6) not broadcasting internet signal anymore.

I've been using my router (WRT54G ver.6) for almost 2 years now with only a few minor hiccups along the way. Just recently the router won't send the internet signal anymore. I can still connect to the wireless network and use the printer, which is connected to port 1.
Connected computer directly to the cable modem - Internet works fine.
Wired modem to router then wired modem to computer(tried all ports) - still no internet.
Checked all my cables - they're fine.
All the lights on the router are responding appropriately. I now know that the problem is only the wireless router.
I've tried practically EVERYTHING!!; holding the reset button for 30secs - 2mins, unplugging the router for days on end, upgrading then downgrading then upgrading firmwares again, jumping on one leg while holding my breath, and all different combinations in between!!!
I have the latest firmware and even tried using a previous firmware but still no go.
Also tried the "Mac Address Clone" and still didn't have IS/subnet numbers for the internet under the "Status" tab. (I don't know if I ever had numbers there).
My ISP is Comcast.

Configuration for cable connection:-
Before doing the following steps, you have to connect the modem to the
router's Internet Port and the computer to the Ethernet Port Number 1.
Step 01 : - Reset the router
1. Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds.
2. Then, unplug the power keep holding down the reset button for
another 30 Seconds.
3. Plug back the power back in, and keep holding down the reset button
for 30 Seconds.
4. Release the reset button.
Step 02 : To Configure the router for Wired Connection.
Please access the setup page of the router by launching an Internet
Explorer and type on the address bar, 192.168.1.1 and press enter. When
it prompts for the username and password, leave the username field
empty and provide password as “admin "" all in lower cases and then
click on ok.
On the main setup page the ""Internet Connection Type"" should be
on ""Obtain IP Automatically - DHCP “. Click on the Save Settings
button.
Now click on the sub tab ""MAC address clone"".
- Click on enable
- Click on clone your PC's MAC button and then click on the Save

Suddenly no AirPort Signal anymore.

Since about two weeks, my G3 iMac DV SE 500 Mhz (10.4.9, slotloading) can't make a connection anymore to my AirPort Express network (configured correctly as a b/g-compatible, still working).
The AirPort Card (firmware 9.52) is still recognised in System Profile.
Something to do with the antenna's, …?
Any help?

If the card isn't recognizing any wireless signal, either something has happened to the antenna or something has happened to the RF section of the AirPort card.

My iPhone doesn't hold a Wi-Fi signal anymore, can I get it replaced?

My iPhone 4S which I bought in April last year has recently and gradually stopped connecting to Wi-Fi. At first it would lose the signal for a few minutes then reconnect, then a few weeks later it began losing the signal after about 10 minutes of being connected, and I'd have to reconnect it manually. Nowadays I have absolutely no detection of Wi-Fi from the phone whatsoever, both at home and at work. It's definitely not the Wi-Fi itself because my sister's iPod touch 4th gen and my mum's iPad 2 and my own laptop connect to the signal perfectly well. At work also, my friend's MacBook Pro connects to the wifi at work fine. I'm not sure what's happened to it to cause this but I wanted to know, since this problem couldn't have been my fault, if I take it to my local Apple store will they replace the phone? One of my good friends had hers replaced after the home button stopped working because she wasn't at fault. I wanted to know if I was eligible for the same. Also, does the fact that I'm locked to Vodafone for another year come into the problem? I honestly need this Wi-Fi desperately when I'm at work and sometimes at home and relying on Vodafone's incredibly slow 3G network is definitely not an option for me if I can help it. Any advice would be much appreciated :) Thank you!

Take it to Apple, with some money, and ask if it is eligible for an out of warranty replacement. They will not trade a new 4S for a busted 4. If you want a 4S you'll have to buy one.

I don't have a 3G signal anymore....?

I have an iPhone 3GS and recently went from Pay As You Go to a contract line.
As soon as that happened, I seemed to have lost my 3G signal. I use Wifi connection when Im at home but when Im out and about I can't seem to get a 3G signal. I phone keeps showing the letter 'E' or its a circle 'o'.
I never had this problem before and cant seem to get it fixed. I phoned my network provider o2 and they said to upgrade to the latest version 4.3.5 and see what happens. But still nothing.
Anybody know why I have lost the 3G signal?

I am thinking about a zip code, you seem to be thinking about a zip+4 code, which is be a bit more specific, but that was not what was asked, simply a zip code. The Verizon coverage map will not even accept a zip+4 code.
A zip code+name would be too specific also as would a zip code+address, but again not what was asked.
For example, I believe my zip code covers ~36 square miles although the boundaries are quite jagged.

TS1398 iPhone can not see any wifi signals anymore.

Used to work fine, have updated, reset, rebooted etc but still nothing. Other iPhones in the house all still OK. HAve tried several locations that it used to connect to wifi. Have worked through all the help pages and tried all those ideas. Process of elimination confirms the issue is with this 4S handset. Anyone got any other suggestions?

My phone can see networks with 1 bar,(or 2 when 5 feet from my router), but i am unable to connect. After trying every concievable solution, including several restores both via the menu and itunes, i gave up and called Apple. The rep agreed that it most certainly must be a hardware problem and assured me that as soon as they recieved it back in post i would be sent a "replacement" phone. She actually couldn't apologise enough for the inconvenience of being without a phone for 5 DAYS, as this is how long the turnaround would be, i was assured. This suggests to me that indeed there is a bad problem with the built in wi-fi as the same or very similar problems are all over the forums. I of course don't expect to actually get a phone back for 10-12 days but miracles may happen...>>>>

It is quite obvious that you people at apple keep your eye on the forums, why is it your company never listens to it's customers in them. Better support for your products which cost us plenty, would be a good place to start. Having 2 dead ipods, 3 working ones and a iphone from apple, bears testimony that i am a loyal customer. How about returning the loyalty by putting out products that work first time - every time...

I used to have an excellent connexion between my ordi and my tv through my HDMI and suddenly my Tv do not receive the signal anymore?

Acquring an anolog signal outputed from a photo detector by DAQ6052E

Hello there,
Currently, I have a NI 6052 E card and I want to use it to acquire the output anolog signal from a photo detector (PDA36A, thorlab).
Through the oscilloscope, the absolute value (peak to peak value) of the output anolog signal (voltage) is around 50mv. Then, I use the Cont Acq&Graph Voltage-Int Clk.vi to acquire the signal through the anolog input 0 of the 6052 card. The minimum and the maximum voltage are set as -50mv, 50mv respectively. Then, I excecute the vi and use an indicator to demonstrate the acquired the data. The data is constant: 0.049998. Then I highlightly excecute the program, the Error 200279 (Measurements: Attempted to read samples that are no longer available. The requested sample was previously available, but has since been overwritten.) happens.
So i do not know why the anolog signal (voltage) cannot be acquired correctly by use of the 6052E card.

I am sorry i did not clearly describe my problem. Actually, I want to acquire a sine signal whose maximum amplitude is about 50mv. The sine signal is shown in the scope.
However, when I use the programm to acquire the sine signal through the ai0 of 6052E, I get a DC signal rather than a sine signal.
So I try to acquire another sine signal whose maximum amplitude is 5v and I can get a sine signal through the aio. I attach two waveform graph. Graph 1 is the 5v sine signal shown in scope. Graph 2 is the signal acquired through the ai0. As shown in graph 2, it is a sine signal but it is not exactly the same as the input analog signal shown in graph 1. Can you tell me why?
Besides, if I decrease the sine signal into 1 v, I cannot get a sine signal anymore through the ai0. The required signal become a DC signal. So the card cannot acquire signal lower than 1 v?

'09 mini not compatible with mini-DVi to video adapter?

I hooked up my new '09 mini to my AV receiver via Apple's mini-DVI to video adapter but got no picture. My previous mini ('06 model) worked fine w/ the DVI to video adapter. I'm thinking the mini-DVI port on the new mini doesn't pass analog signals anymore, i.e., it's now DVI-D vs previously being DVI-I.
Anyone else have this experience w/ the '09 models? I know it works with the older models. I'm just trying to figure out if I have a defective adapter or if the '09 mini's DVI just doesn't pass analog. I noticed the supplied mini-DVI to DVI cable is DVI-D, so maybe that is a hint.

I doubt that'd work. Usually these adapters work by connecting "legacy" wires on the newer connectors to an older interface. The mac actually produces all the appropriate signals, and the adapter just hooks the wires together appropriately.
It sounds like the only analog signals the mac is producing are Red-Green-Blue signals, like you'd use for VGA or component video. It's not producing a composite video signal. So if you convert mini-DVI to VGA, the composite line is going to be dead on both.
The only kind of adapter that could help you would be one with some amount of circuitry that actually pastes the Red-Green-Blue signal into a composite signal. Something like:

Want to run an archive and install, but can't empty trash to free space

I don't know where to begin... at some point recently something caused problems with several applications, so after trying to repair permissions and repair disk with no luck, I decided to archive & install. Now I want the old problems back: Word/Excel/Photoshop will not open because of some library error (Carbonlib?), and my network settings keep going screwy such that if my computer goes to sleep, I couldn't pick up my wireless signal anymore without restarting (and then ta-da, there it was like there was never any problem).
So in trying to archive and install I keep stalling at the very beginning... I'll leave it for hours hoping it would proceed but it wouldn't. I've repaired disk several times, with the same errors ultimately coming up. So without being able to archive and install I figured I'd better back everything up and do an erase & install. Started backing things up in prep for moving them onto a server, but when I plugged the server in, my computer said it couldn't get on. Same exact server wire had just come out of my work computer which connects just fine. So now I've got duplicates of all my files on the desktop, so I try to trash them and when I select 'empty trash' or 'secure empty trash', I get the box that says "preparing to empty trash" and then everything except my wallpaper goes away, and eventually comes back as if I've restarted. Now I definitely can't archive and install because with duplicate copies of all my files I have only 1.7gb available and need 1.9 to install just the required files.
I'm at a total loss! Incidentally, my ipod won't mount if I try to plug it in.
Are there other options in disk utility that I can try? I don't know enough to feel comfortable just trying something, and I don't know what the "Restore" option does.
Oh goodness, I hope somebody knows something that can help me out of this.

IPhone 3G problems with 3G...

My iPhone 3G was working perfectly with OS 3.0 but lately it's been playing up - now whenever I connect to my home router 3G overrides Wi-Fi... laptop has no problem with the router, no settings have been changed on the router - the router is not the problem.
Also now, while sitting at my desk I can't get a signal anymore... I have to turn 3G off to get a signal - the signal is full bar with EDGE.
I've done everything short of putting it in the freezer: -
- reset network
- forget this network
- renew lease
- restore
- all sorts of turning on & off 3G, data roaming...etc combinations
but no change... or improvement!

Try restoring your phone from your most resent backup, followed by syncing your iTunes content back to your phone. But first, find and delete the existing .ipsw file on your computer(it "may" be corrupt). You will have to turn on "Show All Hidden Files & Folders" to see it. This will force iTunes to download a fresh copy. The .ipsw file can be found here:

Printing from an IPad2 to my C410A printer stopped after shared the printer.

Please help to clear up my IPad2/HP Printer problem. I have a HP C410a. The C410a printer is wired to a Dell desktop. The Dell desktop is wired to my Cisco Linksys E4200 router. The C410 shows a strong wireless signal to the Cisco router. A year ago, a MacBook Air and two IPads were brought into my home wireless network. They instantly and automatically saw the C410 printer. They could print. Six months later, I introduced an additional Dell desktop to my home network. It has a wireless connection to the router. It could not see the printer. I made the printer a shared printer. The new Dell desktop then saw the printer and could print. The three Apple products then could no longer see the printer. With research, I was able to use the options on the Air laptop to find the printer, and now it works on the printer. The IPads do not offer the same menu options as the laptop, and I cannot point them to the printer. How can I get the IPads to see the C410a printer, again? Everyone has the latest SW. Everyone has been unplugged and turned on in the right order. Thanks!

I think I may know what is going on....from what your telling me your connected to the Dell PC via USB and the printers wireless radio was on....that is why the ipads could see it because it was broadcasting a signal. IF that is the case then your printer probally is not broad casting the signal anymore. The Printer must be wireless or ethernet to the router or the printer just needs to broad broadcast a signal for the iPads to see it.
