No signal .. No help

Hi people.I started off by being frustrated.  Now i'm fuming.Can anyone here help?  Sorry if this is long. Thanks. I was very loyal to One2One/TMobile for over 20 years - was really happy with them.Over the last 2 years, the signal became intermittent. Loads of folk around me changed to O2 because it was better.  So I did too. And for 3 months, it's been fantastic. A full signal, all the time ! Right..... for the past THREE DAYS, there has been NO SIGNAL at all in my area.O2 tell me - as does their website - that there is a mast not working in my area. But no-one can give me any idea of when it'll be working again.  So I have no calls, no texts, no service.I'm having to drive out of the area to get a signal so I can pick up any texts that have come through.
I know "these things happen" but . . . . my friends here, (one has an IPhone & one has a Samsung) ARE getting a signal.  I have a brand new Sony Xperia Z3 compact.Why are they getting a signal & I'm not?   Sony can't help me either & say it's an O2 problem. I'm paying £38 plus vat per month for this service !I don't know how many more days this is going to go on. Can I get some sort of a refund for lack of service?Thank you for reading.Deryck

My partner and myself have the same issue and have had for 3 days so far we have been with o2 for a number of years now and all was well up to the last 8 months or so we have had no signal in that time regular day and night and you get sick of being in the middle of a call only for the signal to die for anything up to 20 minutes you then get it back and the same again it is getting worse all the time the last 3 days no signal at all and the same story a mast problem in our area customer service was always pretty good but now is poor at best when you can finally get in touch with them i have in the past reccomended o2 to friends and family but unless they get their fingers out never again come on o2 get this service sorted please and stop cutting corners
update on this after 3 hours of trying i got through to customer service all i got as a reply was it will be fixed when its fixed bloody disgusting service i think maybe after all the years i have been with o2 its a time to change

    Error 9006 when restoring your iOS device indicates that there is security software on your computer which is preventing connection to the Apple server or your device.  To troubleshoot this issue please follow the directions below.

  • Problem with PWM signal, Please Help!

    Hi all,
    I am designing a PWM signal where its output is going to connect 4 optocouplers to drive a H-bridge MOSFETs. However, I am now having a problem of getting an output signal strong enough to drive the optocoupler. 
    I have attached the Multi-Sim file along with this post. Please feel free to help me to solve this problem thank you.

    Hi Justin,
    I am slightly confused as to whether this is a problem with Multisim or the design of your circuit.  Are the components in Multisim behaving in an unexpected manner in comparison to their real-world counterparts?

    After I did the update to ios5. I noticed like 3 weeks later my phone now goes into searching for signal at my house. Never did this before. Any help would be great. Thanks

    Does the phone search when you're in a good signal area outside? If so, the problem is the phone and you might be able to cure it by simply resetting your Network Settings.
    If it finds a good signal outside, the problem is with your micro-cell.
    Not sure how they work where youo are but in the UK, Vidafone require you to register your phone online in order to connect.
    Also, you will need to allow it through any firewall you have set-up. The manufacturer will be able to assist with that.

  • No signal strength, help, Im no good at this stuff!

    Hi there.  Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.  I just hooke dup my Linksys wireless router WRT54GS to my desktop and Im trying to make it work on my other desktop on the other  side of the house with a Linksys adapter.  All appears to be working  except I cannot get ANY signal strength on my adapter.  I raised the adapter pretty high and it made no difference.  Any suggestions????

    I assume that the computer wired to the router is getting a working Internet connection.
    It might help to elevate your router.  How far are you trying to get the signal to travel and through how many walls?   Which wireless adapter are you using?  Is there any reasonable way to get the router closer to the wireless computer, or to position the router and wireless adapter in such a way as to eliminate the need to penetrate a wall or two?  Try not to have the router antena too close to the wall.
    Make sure the router's antena has not gotten loose.  If it is loose, tighten it.  It sounds like your wireless computer is on the same floor as the router, if so, make sure antena is verticle.
    Make sure you are using the latest firmware for the router, and the latest driver for your wireless adapter.
    Make sure your router has a unique SSID (do not use "linksys" ).  And make sure that "SSID Broadcast" is set to "enabled".
    Can you see your router's wireless network at all?  Any bars?
    If you are still having trouble, move the wireless computer to be 6-12 feet from the router.  How is the signal now?  Do you have a working connection?

  • 4 counter input & 6 signal input HELP

    Hello Friends,
    I have a little problem, would be great if someone can help me.
    I am using the counter inputs on my Data Acq. Harware to measure the pulse width of my input sigal.
    Since the hardware has only 4 counter inputs I can connect 4 channels, but I want to measure pulse width for 6 channels.
    Is there a way to use the available 4 counters and measure all of the 6 channels?

    In my (very basic) example, you could just increase the timeout to ~10+ seconds to ensure you acquire the pulse.  If it's possible that the pulse isn't present within the ~10+ second timeout you would also need to handle the timeout error so it doesn't wrap back around through the shift register and prevent the future reads from executing.
    The downside to this of course is that it could take up to ~60+ seconds to acquire from all 6 channels in the worst case scenario.  The example was really just intended to show how one might use a single counter to acquire from multiple channels in succession.
    The better way to do it with counters would be to run (up to) 4 counter tasks in parallel.  The first 2 tasks to finish with their original acquisition should then measure a second channel.  This could still take ~20 seconds if none of the signals are connected however.
    If you want to trade a lower measurement resolution (and more memory usage) for a lower upper-bound on measurement time you could instead acquire a 10 second window of time using clocked digital inputs and use software to determine the pulse duration by parsing the acquired array.

  • C7 Signal problem help ?

    Hi I bought the C7-00 at Christmas and straight away I was having problems with the signal strengths.
    I am with 02 so I contacted them so far I have tried a new sim, and taken it into a o2 store were there told me I don't have 3g in my area so suggested I keep my settings on GSM.
    However this had made no difference and still can cut out while using to make call and people tell me on the other end they can hardly hear me.
    I am confused as I am not sure if this is a problem with o2 or could it be that the phone is faulty.
    Please anyone any ideas.

    have you tried your sim in another phone?
    anybody else on the 02 network in your area with the same issues?
    if this is a constant issue and the above does not suggest anything i would maybe ask for a replacement and see if it makes any difference
    how many signal bars do you have on your phone?

  • Sad face then funny battery signal please help!!!

    Hi there, I bought my ipod mini about 3 weeks ago, turned it on a few days ago, first I get the Apple logo, followed by a sad ipod icon, then a battery signal which shows it has slightly charged with a bolt of lightening across it!! I have tried everything - resetting, updated all the software, bought a new USB cable, I can't restore through the updater as it won;t recognise the restore function please help!!!

    Hey man...I have the EXACT same Ipod with the EXACT same problem. I went to the apple store and they told me I had to wait 3 days to make an appointment with a "Mac Genius" to look at it and that with all the repairs done it would probably cost me $150.     I kid you not. So basically I put the wall charger on, let it charge for 3 hours. Took it off the wall plug and then slapped the $#!t out of it 4 or five times. Then turned it on. Same sad face. Tried a combination of the reboot procedure and slapping around and now it works! Good luck and hope it works for you too!

    I understand that you are receiving low signal strength on your iPhone. In this situation, even though the attached article was written for situations with no signal, I would still suggest working through these same steps to troubleshoot.

  • AIRPORT LOSING SIGNAL RANGE- HELP!!!

    I have a 2006-2007 standard macbook.
    Running mac osx 10.4.11 with
    1.83 ghz
    2gb ram (upgraded)
    120 gb harddrive (upgraded)
    Over the past month or so my airport has not been working properly. It has been having trouble finding my home network (at both homes) unless I get increasingly closer to the router. At first I could get internet downstairs, then I had to come upstairs to my room, now I have to be sitting next to the router in order for Airport to connect to my network and even then the signal isn't at full bars. Can anyone help me? I've tried deleting my preferred network and adding it again but that hasn't helped. I'm hoping if I upgrade to leopard that the new airport might work better but after 3 years I don't know why mine would all of the sudden stop working. HELP!!

    I am having the same problem. I went to the Apple store by my house and they said it might have something to do with the Operating System. They Recommended a Archive and Install and since I still have my Leopard disk I think i am going to try it out some time on Monday. To be dead honest with you, I am pretty sure this is not going to fix it, and I think I am going to have to buy a new Airport card, which totally *****.....

  • No video signal? help please

      Just built new system.  MSI neo 2 ls, 2.8 p4, 1g ddr400, ati 9700 pro vid card, using on board sound for now. Everything was working great for about 8 hours. Was playing ut 2003 and system froze. Then on reboot got "monitor working- no output signal".  Have tried all I can think of including switching video cards and monitor but no luck.  Did the board fail?  

    Thanks for the effort.  The d-bracket leds are showing the top 2(initializing hdd controller). It gets thier very quickly on boot and stays there.  What do ya think?

  • Signal Algorithm help

    I have two signals.  
    Signal 1: 0-5V trigger signal.  During the time duration of interest, the trigger will go high 4 times for 1ms each.  In my software, I need to find the last trigger, which I can do easily.
    Signal 2: From about 0 to 30ms, the signal is noise with level +- 40mV.  From about 30ms and up, the signal is noise with level +-5mV.  
    I am suposed to find the time dfference between when the last trigger of signal 1 occurs and when signal 2 becomes +-5mV. 
    I tried to do this by flipping the two signal arrays and find the elements in the arrays where specified thresheds are crossed.  Of course, the threshold for signal one is dffierent than signal 2.  The described approach only works 50% of the times.  The method fails when ignal 2 has spikes during the +-5mV period, which occurs once in a while.  
    Any inputs on algorithm?  Thanks!  See attached for a pictorial explaination

  • Analog signal staircase help

    Hello all,
    I'm still new to LabVIEW, but I've played around enough to create a simple analog waveform generator. The signals produced appear staircased when displayed on an oscilloscope, but are smooth when I reread the signals into an analog input (as shown by the waveform graph). How can I change my program settings so that I can view this staircased signal?
    I run LabVIEW 2010, and use a USB X Series Multifunction DAQ.

    Thank you for posting. I am a little unclear about what some of the front panel controls are in you're images, but I will explain the best that I can about what I believe is going on.
    Take a look at the following images.
    Generating a 1kHz sine wave:
    Acquiring at 100kHz:
    Acquiring at the Nyquist Frequency (2X the input signal's frequency):
    What I am trying to demonstrate here is that you are only going to see a smooth signal if you are sampling fast enough. For instance, if you generate a 1kHz and sample at 2kHz, you will only see two samples per period. This will give you an accurate period and frequency, but nothing else. Because an analog to digital converter is used here, you must sample at a much faster rate to get a "smooth" signal. In my above 100kHz acquisition, you see that we are getting 100 samples per period which produces a much smoother waveform. I would suggest that you acquire a 5kHz signal at something on the order of 500kHz to see a smooth signal.

    Im getting sick and tired of apple not getting things to work! Update to 5.0 my battery goes down. I update to 5.3 and my phone can't connect to the network so no signal!
    I guess the have all there geniuses at the genius bar and all the flunkies at making the stupid software updates that make me want to change my phone!
    Only really geniuses at apple are the hardware people can't complain about that!

    try resetting your phone by turning it off and back on again. Also, the server may still be slammed from all the activity, so it may take a little with to connect.

  • Brand new MacMini keeps dropping wifi signal please help

    Hi i have a brand new macmini which has been working perfectly fine untill today where safari seemed to be really slow sometimes not even loading searches, i checked if my wifi was connected but it changes from connected to searching for network.. My router cant be the problem because its in the same room and i have 6 other apple devices that work fine..ive searched all over for solutions and tried some but still no luck..does any one have an idea as to what i can do to resolve this annoying problem please?
