No small video screen showing when minimized

Whenever I am calling with my friend and we both enable our videos, typically i would minimize my skype and still be able to see her through a small window which replicates her video. Now, this small video screen is gone. The small popup is still present, however, it is as if her my friend isnt enabling her video. However, she does enable her video and i can only view it when i open skype.. it has really grown to be a huge annoyance towards my skype experience. Also, my friend's profile picture appears beside my video and i find it really annoying. I've attached a screenshot where it clearly shows my friend's video being on, but skype not showing her video on the small popup.
I would like to revert back to the previous skype version if possible. This problem is just very annoying. I am running skype version 7.5.0.102

In several previous similar cases this behaviour was observed when the contact was on outdated Skype version, especially older Skype for Mac.

No.
You have to authorize a computer from that computer. You cannot authorize a computer from another computer.

Small Blank Window shows when accessing Creative Cloud App

I get a small Blank Window showing when accessing Creative Cloud App, it is very annoying.
Does anyone know how to fix this bug?

Green Screen shows when trying to play videos?

Since downloading itunes 8, all of my videos don't work. When you click on them to play, a green screen shows up, and nothing else. And, if I try to play them on Quicktime Player, it doesn't work, either. I tried to enable the Direct3D video acceleration like it said in an article I found, but again, it didn't work.
I'm sure this topic has been brought up before, but if someone would help, that would be great!

Won't let me play my Videos (TV Shows) when the screen is locked...

So, like above says... Ever since I upgraded my Iphones software to 4.2.1 I can't start a TV show video and then exit/lock the screen and use my headphones to start it up again and basically just listen to the video and not watch it. I am wondering if this is becasue of the software update or if it is a glitch in my phone?? It's quite annoying because I don't like having the screen unlocked if I am not actually watching the video.

when someone send me a mms video it is real small, with alot of black background on it, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AND CAN I FIX THIS

I'm not sure whether it's possible on iPhone 4, but on iOS 7 you might just need to tap the screen with three fingers (twice)!
That's the default way to change between 100% Screen / 300 % Screen.

Not all of Flash screen shows when testing swf

Hello. I am creating a Flash animation with the stage settings of 1920px x 1080px. When I test my animation almost an inch around the border of the stage is cut off. It's like the animation has zoomed in. I have tried using different resolutions on my screen, but nothing changes. I have tried to make the stage dimensions smaller, but that's not working either. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

I was never able to fix it, the air simulator is hardcoded to use 240dpi and has no options to change it. Therefore even if your screen should be big enough in pixels to show the whole window, it often will still hang off the edge of the screen. I forget where I read that.
In my case, I lucked out and was able to switch to a Mac and use the iOS simulator, which does allow scaling the screen.

Panasonic HC X900 No video files showing when connected to MacBook Pro?

I'm trying to import video files from a Panasonic HC X900 to my mac but the files are not showing on the memory card or the camera when its connected by the USB data cable but when going on the cameras playback view it shows all my video clips :/

Try going to system preferences> displays and try changing the refresh rate (write down all settings first) sometimes the rate being off slightly can change things.
Displays>gather windows, tis will open a window behind the first window. Click that window, dispay tab,there will be many resolutions, and refresh rate, check which works.Hope this helps

Re Message Icon in top screen shows when all messages deleted

Please help, not too adept at technology so simplistic terms would help! The envelope message icon shows 1 at the top of my screen and the message and e mail icons at the bottom of the screen when I put the cursor on them show (1) denoting a message but when I open the message and e mail message boxes there are no messages in. Screen shows when ALT key is pressed

Hi,
For some reason, photoshop CC has started showing a big ugly ALT next to my cursor when I press the ALT key. I dont want this! It gets in the way.
Im not sure how I turned it on, and would LOVE to know how to turn it off.

OK found it.
The driver for the wacom tablet I use had stopped functioning. I think a derfault windows driver kicked in instead and was kindly telling me what keys I was pressing.
A simple reboot did the trick - it was NOT a photoshop setting.

What does screen show when a hard drive erase is in progress?

Prior to sale, I am wiping the hard drive clean using original 10.5.2 discs on a 2008 era MacBook Pro. I haven't been thru this process previously. Setting up the erase from the discs was smooth. Being paranoid, I chose a 7-pass erase - I knew it would be "long" but not how long. When the erase process started, a window included the information of it taking up to 7 hours. The screen is now dark and acts like the computer is in sleep mode, but does not awaken with any keystroke. Should I be able to follow the (long) process on a window? I don't want to wait for hours and not be able to identify the end point. Also, I expected that I would hear some hard drive activity during the process, and it seems like all I hear is the fan. Can anyone who has done this share what to expect?

I presume these are all external, non-NAS drives? Have you tried disk utility repair disk and repair permissions?

I have a new Macbook Pro. When watching Youtube videos, it works perfectly until I attempt to watch the video in full screen. When in full screen, the video freezes immediately and the audio continues. When minimized it works fine as before. Help?

First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
Reset the System Management Controller.
If you have many image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons, move them to another folder.
If applicable, uncheck all boxes in the iCloud preference pane.

It sounds like your screen recording is doing what it was designed to do, capture what is happening on your screen, with optional voice over with the microphone.
Screen recording is for recording what you see on the screen, it is not a "video capture" option, like for capturing a movie with sound that is playing on your screen.
