I just purchased a 128 Gig iPhone 6+. When I have the sound off and volume as low as possible, I get a static sound coming out of the speakers. It is distracting and annoying when I am in meetings, etc. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks in advance.
Couple of things you can try but it looks like you may have to take it in
1. Settings --> Cellular --> Change "Enable LTE" to just "Data" if available
2. Toggle your ringer off and on
3. Settings --> General --> Accessibility --> Toggle Noise reduction off and on
If none of the above works - consider taking it to Apple

Little parasite noise sound coming out of the Ipod when charging
When the Ipod is plugged to the wall charger, there's a little parasite sound coming out. It's barely audible but I wonder if it's normal?
This is a normal sound when charging the iPod, in fact almost all electronics give off a faint buzzing sound when charging. It is nothing to worry about, and will not affect you're iPod in any way.

Is there any app or something, that can do that, you can stream any sound coming out of your mac to your airport express?
Yes, he would have to have jailbroken your phone to install malware. If you see an app called "Cydia", that would indicate conclusively that it was jailbroken. I would recommend restoring the phone as new using iTunes. It is your best shot at removing a jailbreak.
You should also change your network password, your email password and your FB password as well as passwords to anything else you've used from the phone. Put a lock code on the phone.
Your best defense against this sort of thing is to NOT give your phone to people you don't trust.

I don't have any external sound coming out
I don't have any external sound coming out, what do I do?
Remove the headphone.
If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.
Reset PRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4405
Reset SMC. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964

I have no sound coming from my iPad unless I plug in external speakers. How can I get sound again. Thanks
If you lose sound for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email and other notifications, system sounds have probably been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled in two different ways: either by the side switch (located next to the volume up/down controls) or in the Recent Apps tray. The initial default is via the side switch.
Check the status of Settings > General > Use Side Switch to:. If this is set to Mute, the switch on the side of the iPad will mute system sounds.
If this is set to Lock rotation then the mute system sounds control is in the Recent Apps tray. Double tap the home button and, in the tray which appears at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is on the left. Is it is crossed-out tap on it and mute will be turned off and system sounds will be turned ON.
This Apple Support article explains in more detail how the side switch works.

Hi @ellencat
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you are getting sound both from your speakers and the headphones when the headphones/earplugs are plugged in.
A fix to try is, to go into the Control panel
then Hardware and Sound
then click on Sound and select the Recording tab
Select your microphone/headset as the default device, and press OK.
Also you can look at this page from answers.microsoft.com, as if offers a few more suggestions.

Sound indicators moving but no sounds coming out
My sound was working fine yesterday, but today I can see the sound indicator meter moving up and down, but no noise is coming out. I am using my new pavilion g6-1b70us notebook pc,
I have just encountered the same problem. I updated the BIOS and a few other things at the prompting of the HP Support Assistant and now no sound comes out of my speakers or my headphones. I can also see the sound indicator moving. I am using a new Pavilion g6-1b00 Notebook PC. It was working fine a few hours ago, and now nothing.
I talked to HP support and after trying several different things that didn't work (reinstalling audio driver, system restore, couldn't undo BIOS update) the support guy suggested a reset to factory settings. I'd really rather not do that, as I don't have an external harddrive to move my data to at the moment. I'd love to see a different solution to this problem. -
No sound coming out of external speakers
Here's my situtation. I just recently received my MacBook and I wanted to connect my external speakers that I used with my previous PC laptop. It worked perfectly with the PC laptop. When I plug in the speaker cord into the port, no sound comes out of the external speakers. But sound comes out of the internal MacBook speakers.
I plugged it in the right port.
Volume is on both in the MacBook and the external speakers.
Speakers are on.
Speakers worked fine with my PC laptop.
What can i do? The connection is fine because it was just plugged in my PC laptop and they were working. Thanks in advance for any help. Thanks for the reply. This is what i tried...its really weird but it works.
I plugged in the speaker plug into the port with the headphone symbol and now sound comes out of the speakers! (Maybe this was the correct port in the first place! Sorry for the newbie mistake.) I was used to ports being color coded and I just plugged in the green speaker cord into the green port on my PC.
So the port on the left is for audio in right?
And the port with the headphone symbol is for headphones and speaker (audio out)
When I go to to System Preferences, it recognizes the speakers as "Headphones". But I don't think that really matters.
Thanks for the help. I have sound now coming out of my external speakers. -
Buzzing Sound coming out of audio port on MacBook Pro
There is a buzzing/electronic noise coming out of my headphone port. It is not the humming sound that usually happens when I play audio. It is very loud. How can I fix this?
Also, for some reason it gets quieter when my hands are close to the computer. When I move away it makes noise.

Can you have sound coming out from both internal speaker and speakers connected to the iMac?
I have a pair of KRK Rokit 5 speakers connected to the headphones jack at the back of the iMac.
I use these for playing good quality sound when I need to record on Garageband.
However they are mains powered and have a switch at the back which is difficult to always turn due to the position of the speakers. At the same time I don't want to have the speakers turned on all the time.
Is there a way to enable the Mac to play sound through its onboard speaker without disconnecting the speakers' cable?
Thsi should be possible, becasue whenever I restart the Mac I can hear it s start up jingle clearly coming out from its onboard speaker, even when the external speakers are plugged in.
ThanksUnfortunately the iMac is not designed to offer that setup capability. If you go into your Applications folder>System Preferences>"Sound">here you will find that you can select the device that the iMac's sound output is sent thru (see below)>you will find that you can only select "one" device at a time to receive the audio signal, not multiple devices at once. The "startup chimes" are separate from the normal audio output and Always come from the internal speakers.

I don't know what happened to it. I just updated it and now, the sound comes out tinny and overdriven. My setting were just as before, but the sound has become very crappy.
Any solutions? You're pressed the volume switch top right side to go up ??
If that doesn't help ...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then try sound.
