No sound for hello hello french app

I purchased the app "Hello Hello French language" and the sound worked for one day.  I sent an email to their support site and received no reply.
Recently, I bought an app called "Vocabulary", which teaches you vocabulary in different languages and the sound for it won't work.
The sound from my other apps work.  I have Netflix, Hebrew language etc.
Hadov

Hi Hadov, I am Preeti writing on behalf of Hello-Hello Team. When I saw your comment I immediately checked the app but everything seems to be fine. All the audios are working well. Please do a little cross check with the iPad sound settings I am mentioning below.
Check 1)  Please check the iPad sound settings via sound button when app is running.
Check 2) Please check with the mute button (a small button just above the sound button) whether is it OFF or ON. If you can see the red dot on button itself that means mute is ON. So you need to push it upside in order to turn the mute OFF. Sometimes it happens in the device even if the sound is full and mute is ON you will not get any sound.
Check 3) Please check the lateral switch as a screen blocker if it is set mute.
Check 4) If by trying above steps you are not getting any sound I would recommend you to delete and re-install your app from the app store. To delete an app you need to press and hold the icon until it begins to shake and an X will appear at the top right corner. Click on the X and the app will be deleted. Go to the App store, search for Hello-Hello French and install it again. Even though it will say Buy App, you will not be charged since you already purchased the app before.
Kindly let us know if it worked. - Feel free to write me if you face any problem anywhere.
Thanks! Happy Learning. :-)

Thanks Laparra!! Thanks to your original comment again-- at least now I know if I need a "work-around" I now know at-least-that-the original-fonts in PS TOUCH seem to work. No wonder the default-font worked.. but not the NEW COPPERPLATE FONT.. YaY, mystery solved.. (almost)!   [i wished they'd change that default-font..and get a new default font...Lol.. It's pretty homely looking..Hee.) I normally have been using that original TRAJAN PRO FONT.. but the letter "J" almost looks like a straight line vs a rounded J.. which at least the new COPPERPLATE FONT (which is a more normal usable font--That's not boring like aerial is,etc... ]. So yeah that will be great when all those new fonts gets fixed! // It would be great too (on my PS TOUCH wishlist, if someday they could fix the TEXT BOX too.. to be able to better & easily add A LOT [more] TEXT on a graphic .. as I always have to go to the "OVER APP" [That's the name of the app in the APPLE store] on my iPad to do that... PS TOUCH only seems to let you do TITLES vs a more lengthy text on a project. If I want to make an EASY border I take the image I've been working on into the CAMERA+.Plus App.. Simple..[but I know it can lose its resolution]. Sorry so long!! Venting haha!! Will plan to keep an eye on this post & let you all know & visa versa! LORD BLESS!!

I don't know if it's related but ever since I downloaded the last two updates. I tryed reparing the file and uninstalling and installing several times. Still, is not working. I work with music and need my itunes up and running. Does anybody know how to fix this?

  • Is there a way to change the notification sound for the FB app

is there a way to change the notification sound for the FB app?

Go to: Settings, Sounds and look for Facebook Post.  You can click on it and select which sound you want.

  • I no longer have sound for either my audio books or my music on itunes.  I've tried everything--restarting, updating, re-installing audible app, and restoring the iphone to its factory settings--nothing helps.  How do I get the sound back?

How do I get the sound back on my iPhone 4?  I've tried all the fixes such as restarting iPhone, reinstalling the audible app, and finally yesterday, I restored the phone to its factory settings.  I still get no sound from music on iTunes or from my audible books.  The phone still rings (I have sound for that) and the voice control speaks to me, and when I'm typing, the automatic text voice speaks so I can hear it but nothing else works.

Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer.  As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you.  I'm sure you'll pay, however.
Let this be a very important lesson learned.
    Best.

  • My iPhone 4s no longer has sound for any of the applications but it does have sound for phone functions.  Where is the setting for app sound?  I have gone to the multitask screen and the volume bar is empty.

I recently found my phone outside in light rain (it had been there about 20 minutes).  It had some glitches at first, however after letting it rest overnight it seemed to mostly recover.  The one problem I am having is that I no longer have sound for any of my applications.  I do have sound for phone fuctions, and I am able to use the speaker for phone functions.
When I am in my applications, including music/videos, the only way I can hear is if I use my earbuds.  I am able to make a video and it will record sound just fine.
When I go to the multitask screen, the volume bar is empty and I cannot adjust it using the side buttons (even though in settings I have that feature activated). I completely reset all of my settings tonight and that did not make a difference.
Is there a setting I am missing, or am I just SOL?  I am trying to avoid having to get a whole new phone but it is very frustrating to not have sound with my applications.

There are two places where vibrations can be set.
One is the Settings > Sounds
The other area is Settings > Notifications
If you have an app set to Alert, it may have a vibration set for it.

  • How to get iPhone sounds for Mail.app on Snow Leopard?

    Hi,
I like the "new text message" sound called "Chime". I would like to use this sound for new mails in Mail.app, too. Is there any way I can download this sound on my MacBook Pro (from some webpage?)?
The sound "Glas" is available both on Mail.app and on the iPhone, but note the "Chime" sound.
    Cheers

  • I lost the sound for all apps. Music plays fine but apps do not have sound?

How do I recover the sound in the apps, music plays fine on the iPad, but apps now have no sound.

If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

  • I want to make an ear training app, and use two note samples, is it legal to use logic's piano sounds for that purpose?

Or does anyone know where I can get piano samples to legally use for a virtual keyboard app?

Are you sure because the license agreement confuses me and seems to say I can't re-distribute their samples. And a virtual keyboard is basically reselling their samples. The two note ear training game could also be considered repackaging their samples.
"You may broadcast and/or distribute your own soundtracks that were created using the Sample Content, however, individual Apple loops, audio files, sound settings, samples and impulse responses may not be commercially or otherwise distributed on a standalone basis, nor may they be repackaged in whole or in part as audio samples, sound files, sound effects or music beds."

  • Why is there no sound for apps since updating to iOS6

Since I updated my phone (4s)  to iOS6, there is no sound for apps like netflix, youtube, audio book, music or even for any of my games, but it works perfectly fine when I make/take a call.  I reset my phone and everything.  Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

I've not had the problem, but basic troubleshooting steps outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
Try those steps in order until your problem is solved.

  • How to mute sound for app?

Is there a way to mute sound for one particular app? In windows, you can do this from the volume control. It list each app and you can control volume there. I don't see a way to do this in Windows.
Particularly in gotomeeting, there isn't any mute available. Safari is the same way.

  • After download an application from the app store on my iPad i lost all sound for all my application, how do i sought this out?

i lost sound for all my application on my ipad 3, how do i resolve this problem

Is it all apps or do Music and Videos apps still have sound ? If they do then have you got notifications muted ? Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. The function that isn't on the side switch is set via the taskbar instead : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4085
