No sound half way a movie

Hi,
I made a DVD with iDVD, it consists of 2 short avi-files and a slideshow (with music).
The 2 movies give me soundtrouble. As long as i test the project on my imac there is no trouble at all.
When i play the dvd om my imac or on a dvd-player i have following problem:
The sound from both avi-file stops half way the films (exact in the middle).
Am i doing something wrong?

OneStep DVD lost of sound half way through the tape

When transferring one of my mini dv's I completely lose all sound half way through the tape. This lost of sound also corresponds to a new scene in the tape. From then on all sound is lost. The following tape is done in the exact settings (surroundings and camera setting) but the sound is ok. FYI, I’m running at 16bit all the time. Can anybody help?

Just import your tape into iMovie HD and send it to iDVD.

Stutters and logging out half way through movies

Hi all, At first I thought this was just me. I had created a couple of trailers in iMovie which played fine on everything but the AppleTV. That continuously dropped frames every second, turning smooth video into something that is jittery and unpleasant to watch.
But now it did the same thing with The Girl Who Played With Fire which I rented last night. Up until that point, rented movies have always been fine.
In addition, in both the last two films we have rented, the AppleTV has suddenly stopped playing the film at some point (about half ways through one and only 10 mins into the other) and dropped back to the menus.
Why I don't know, but the film would not be showing as ready to play and investigating the settings would so that I had been logged out of iTunes. Once I log back into iTunes, I can then restart the film and everything seems to be fine after that.
Any ideas?

I'd recommend deleting the movie, then redownloading it from the iTunes Store.

Loss of sound half way through playing a vid clip

Hi there people. Wonder if you can help. I have had my awsome N95 for a month now and have just loaded the nokia suite. I have sent video clips ranging from 4 seconds to 3 minutes to the phone that were taken on a Samsung 8mp camera but after exactly half of the clip, the sound stops but video keeps playing. Im sorry if this has already been asked but im new to this and dont know where to look. Thanks.

Do you know what format the videos are, did you convert the videos or just copied them?
I recommend you first try just sending them over BT or through USB (through a PC)
DON'T use PC suite as this may convert the videos and that may be causing the problem.

Apple TV stopping half way through movie. Got the "spinning wheel" then it said "unexpected error occurred". I can go back

Issue with Apple TV stopping have way through a movie purchased from iTunes. Says "unexpected error occurred" and will allow us to go back and view earlier parts of the movie but not to go forward from this point. Any suggestions?

Having a very similar problem here. Apple TV Rental movie 2/3 way through. Great movie, though we had major download speed probs initially. Trouble is it now keeps on saying "unexpected error, try again later" or somesuch, and has done for several hours. Rental period finishes tomorrow when we'll all be at work. Night-time here in Australia. Thought we might be able to finish it on my Mac at least. Nup. Can't play AppleTV rentals on your Mac! Family not happy! No, that is understating it. Family ^*&^ing furious. "Why did you waste money on that thing when we could have got it out on DVD, or Netflicks, or Easyflicks, or just pirated it, or.....". I guess you get the picture!

Certain songs purchased from Itunes will loose sound half way through playing.

I have tried re-downloading, but this made no difference. Happens when playing on any Apple device. Any ideas?

If it happens on multiple devices then it's a faulty file. If you have re-downloaded then it is possible it is at Apple's end. Tell them.

I'm trying to publish a short movie to youtube. It plays fine in the editing screen, but when I publish it, half way through, the sound cuts out on the video. There's still some background music that's playing, but the voices get cut out. I've tried republishing it in a different size and the sound cuts out at the exact same place. Any suggestions?

I rented a movie via Itunes on my PC but half-way through the download recieved a "An unknown error has occured (-50)" notification. This is not my first rental, and I have verified my network and all connections to be good. Will I still be charged?

Did you figure this out? I haven't rented a movie in this new iTunes yet and saw one tonight I wanted to rent. Same fricken thing is happening to me. I hate this new iTunes, and I really hate that there are problems like this....why the heck do they have to fix something that isn't broken and break it? This just really stinks.

For some reason when I play my Imovie the second half of the movie's sound just stops working and I can't hear anything. It was working before but now it isn't and I don't know what to do.

When I was putting together an Imovie I put music in the background and it played fine in the beginning but now when I watch it the first half of the movie plays music while the second half is silent even though I put music there as i did with the first half. So basically...the music in the second half of my movie is not playing like it used to.

Try resetting your iPad. Press and hold both the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Try your book.
