No Sound in Adobe TV

I am trying to watch the tutorials in Adobe TV, but have no sound. Sound working fine on all other programs, and volume on video turned up full. Any ideas?

Sure:
Are you on a Mac or a Windows machine?
If Mac, which version of MacOS displays when you start. If Windows, is it Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8?
For browser, which icon do you click to start? Firefox? Google Chrome? Safari? Internet Explorer?
For browser version, go to Help > About and see which version number displays
Also, can you please double-check that the volume is turned up in the Adobe TV player?

No Sound from Adobe Read-Aloud

I have a PC running Windows 7. I have Adobe XI and Adobe Acrobat Pro intalled. I can turn on "Read-Aloud" in either but when "Read-Aloud" is turned on and I choose to read the page, the document or just a paragraph, no sound is produced. The sound card works for all other programs. Neither Adobe program will read any .pdf file. What's wrong?

The volume preferences were already set exactly as shown in your last message in both Acrobat Reader XI and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. Neither will read aloud any .pdf file. This problem was discovered on my home computer which is a 64-bit Dell computer running Windows 7. I tried "Read Aloud" on my office computer and it read .pdf files aloud. My office computer is a 32 bit machine running Windows XP. Any other suggestions?

Problem sound in adobe premiere elements 12

Hi, the sound of my project in premiere elements 12 is gone. No sound on video1 track and soundtrack, but the comment track I can hear.
This is really strange. Even if I transport a new item with sound it doesn't work. What can I do? I open a new project and the sound was oké. Can you help me?

This is the same situation that many have found themselves in lately.
It is associated with narration being generated and killing the rest of the audio in the project.
I have tried to reproduce the problem several times without success. I did reproduce it once unexpectedly. So unexpectedly that I could not reproduce it again.
But, I have something I would like you to try since you currently have the problem to work on; whereas, I do not.

I was trying different things and I went to tools to narration. I removed the mute audio before recording, then deleted the narration I previously did and then pressed undo, to bring it back and my audio returned on my video. Very strange but it worked. I wanted to thank you for taking the time to try to help me with this situation.I really appreciate it.
We would be interested if Llamadude99's solution will work for you as it did for her. I am assuming by comment track that you are referring to the Narration track.

Sound in Adobe Edge

Hi,
I have managed to make the sounds play and stop, but now I need to ensure that
1) only 1 sound is played at only 1 time when run in Adobe Edge
2) Once the sound is stopped mid-way, the sound will automatically go to the beginning of the sound clip.

How to enable sound in Adobe Flash plugin in Linux ?

I installed the Flash plugin from Adobe's yum repo, but there is no sound. When I look on the online settings manager, there is no control to set the sound output device.
On my system, there are multiple sound devices, only one of which works for playback - hw:1,0 in ALSA. In applications which
allow me to choose an audio device, that works.
The Totem media player, like Flash, has no audio settings.
But when I use gnome-sound-properties to set the default playback device to "ALC889 analog", Totem works. Flash does not.

However, I've solved it. Per http://www.seehuhn.de/pages/alsa, If I set the default ALSA device to card 1, then restart Firefox, Flash sound works. As does "aplay" with no options.

How to remove Plosive sounds in Adobe CS5

Hi, I am singing into my dynamic mic using adobe cs5 and for some reason I cannot avoid the harsh plosive sounds being picked up by mic.
When I play it back it makes a huge "PUH" sound and really doesn't sound very nice.
Im sure a program like CS5 will allow me to remove these harsh plosive noises but I dont know how.

Well, all the stuff about getting a recording without the plosives is well and good....but if all you have is the recording in post, then the FFT filter is a good tool to work with.Highlight the plosive (and only the plosive. Try to avoid the rest of the word) -- it will be pretty easy to see in the wave file. Go to the FFT filter in Effects Bring everything below 80Hz down to zero. Then draw a curve so that 100Hz and higher is at 100% and start playing with the curve to find the right amount of frequencies to take out.
I've found in my years of radio work, that cutting out frequencies below 100Hz and leaving the rest alone will work good enough about 60% of the time. There are some plosives that go up to 250Hz and higher...you really can't fix those to take them completely out, but you can make them better. Sometimes it helps to also reduce the amplitude some after you've applied the filter.
But, you'll find that people who pop will pop A LOT...and they always seem to be saying (or singing) things with a lot of P's. So it's always better to use pop filters, mic positionioning, vocal technique, and such during the recording. But I think you'll find that FFT filter will be your friend when all that other stuff isn't enough.
(BTW, I'm sure there's probably somethig you can do with the magic healing brush to accomplish this same thing, I just haven't futtzed with it enough to know how to do it there).

Alesis stuff is generally pretty good and the Alesis is correct in that it is generally accepted that the TI chips are better and it is good advice.

I paid a $104 AUS it is now $77.90 (go figure)
Unfortunately there is no image on the web site. Without pulling my PC out I'm pretty sure it has 2 outputs and 2 inputs but don't quote me on that.
You should be able to pick something like this up anywhere in the world pretty cheap.
If it was me I would say that it would be a small investment and worth it to see if you can get the Alesis stuff stabalised.

Sound Blaster, Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 and ASIO st

adobe premiere pro .5 does not recognize my sound blaster card as a 5. surround card... so i can't mix in surround sound... the only input/output device in premiere is the default windows sound .5.... when you look at the list of speakers in premiere it only shows two speakers with SB Audigy sound card, instead of the 5. surround speakers. does anyone know what to do about this? sorry about the long post.

I get no sound when I try to watch the online tutorials. I have sound in all other apps both local computer (like my media players) and online (like Youtube), just not Adobe's website. I am using the latest version of Firefox and have tried to re-start everything, still no sound. Am I missing something?

Low Res files or no sound in Adobe Encore?? Please Help!

Okay, I have a project which is around 1h 30 and I am aiming to burn it to DVD
However, I have tried exporting as MPEG2 for DVD from the premier pro presets and when imported into encore there is no sound on the timeline and the footage appears very poor quality. I am new to Premier Pro CS6 and encore so please be patient with me! Haha.
I then tried exporting as a MOV and transcoding however again the footage appears low quality and is too large for a standard DVD disc.
The footage was recorded on a Canon 5D MK II
Please help! I am going out of my mind!

When you use MPEG2 for DVD as a preset, the audio is not multiplexed. This means that the audio will be included on a separate audio file, which should be found in the same directory as the video file you exported.
In terms of quality - what exactly is the issue? You can play with the video settings to try to improve some of the quality, but you need to set your expectations to the fact that DVDs are always Standard Definition, so they usually look pretty crummy on a large computer monitor.

I can't hear sound in adobe after effect CC 2014

If you are new to AE start here: Basic Workflow. After Effects is not like any other NLE so don't expect the same keyboard shortcuts to work and don't expect to just open up the app and be successful without some study.
If you have some experience check the audio settings in your preferences.
If that doesn't fix the problem then we need OS and AE version details down to the last decimal point and a concise description of your workflow, details on the file giving you problems, and it would be helpful to know if this is a new problem.

Error with playing sounds in adobe flash cs5.5

It comes up with this error in my game project:
error 1:type was not found or wasnt a compile-constant:SoundChannel
error 2:call to possible undefined method SoundChannel
but with a blank project it works fine heres the whole code and im using a box2d wck package if that makes a diffrence:

When doing playback on your device, have you check its volume is the correct? Remember Android has three volume controls you have to check: Multimedia, Notifications and Alarms.
If it is OK, then maybe the issue is on the site. Which site are you visiting? If you are trying to watch videos on Youtube maybe you'd better visit m.youtube.com where you can use tablet's native media player to watch the video.
In my tablet I can't event start Flash. It is installed and browsers detect it but movies just don't play. Flash for mobiles is very unstable.

No sound in Adobe 11.7.202. Crashes sometimes when I connect to online class (windows vista, IE). Class video freezes also. At times has no sound at beginning of class but will have sound when close out & return to class.

I got that error message when trying to revert from Flash Player version 11.x to 10.3 because one of my computers does not meet the CPU requirements to run version 11 efficiently (it had an Intel Pentium 1Ghz processor - not even fast enough to handle flash 11.x). if you are trying to install an older version of flash player after removing flash player 11 (like 10.3) and you are running Windows, open Registry Editor and delete the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macromedia\FlashPlayer\SafeVersions
then close registry editor and run the flash player installer for the older version.
