I had similar problem on my iPad 3rd gen (wifi + GSM) after upgrade to IOS 7 with the following sympthoms.
1. Some applications were ok like: Youtube app, kid app like: Bebop Blox.
2. Most of the applications like: Disneyland Resort Explorer, PvZ2, Toca Boca stuffs etc didn't have sound.
Today, I accidentally troubleshooted one of the recently updated kid app (Wheel on the Bus) that still had no sound.
The switch button beside volume button was set for screen rotation lock (same setting like in IOS 6.1.3). I changed that function to become mute button in General -> Use side switch to -> Mute (checked), then use the switch to -> mute -> unmute (just to make sure it is not muted).
Then those kid apps have their sounds back.

After updating to IOS7, I can hear normal phone calls but can only hear apps through the headphones.
If I try to play music through the normal speakers the volume slider is greyed out and there is no sound.
I have restored the iphone and also cleaned the physical parts.

I'm having the exact same issue. I cannot hear Pandora through the speakers on my phone but if I plug my headphones in I can hear the music. It's not making a sound when a text comes in either, even though I have the ringer on. It rings if a call comes in though. The keyboard isn't clicking either. I've turned it off and on, I've checked all the settings to the best of my knowledge. HELP!!! I want to hear my music!

iOS 7 prompts you to create a passcode after you update. You can skip this step but the option to skip is not prominent.
Do you remember the passcode you set?
If not or if it is already disabled then:

Hi, I recently upgraded my ipad 2 to iOS 7 , but now when I open up my university blackboard page using safari, safari keeps crashing and going to home page, I have tried closing opened apps and I tried a reboot. Please help

Progress Update:
I started from scratch - full wipe and start over reinstalling applications one at a time and testing Safari after every install. I was convinced that it was some other application causing the crash since all of the attempts to do a recovery from a backup resulted in the same problem.
Thus far, with many, many hours invested, Safari is still working. I probably have another 20 applications to install (many of them I don't use very often, so I have been installing as need arises).
My iPhone has the same issue, but I don't often hit links in e-mails on the phone that would go to the default browser. I don't have the time or energy to start over on the phone. Maybe I will get a new phone next year and that will be the time to start over.

i see a lot of denial on this site when it comes to viruses, the same applies to apple updates messing up folks devices. Take it back to an apple store and it is likely the best you can hope for is a discount on a new ipad. Good luck. Hopefully someone here can help you with a fix.

The 30-pin connector on the iPhone 4 dock might not have all the connector pins to do video.
I'm 99% sure the Universal Dock does have the pins (and therefor supports video out).

It sounds like the phone was hacked or jailbroken, and updating it locked it to the original carrier. As it is not possible to update to any version other than the current one (5.1) the fact that you updated to 4.1 pretty much confirms the phone was hacked. There is no solution that you can get in an Apple forum.

Have you tried swiping up or down on the screen in the photos app? When you swipe up or down, that cycles through the Photo, Video and Square modes in the app. The current mode appears in yellow type.
The screen on the iPad in photos App is going to look different that what you see if you click on the link that was posted for you above - that link shows what the screen will look like on the iPhone, but they are similar.

Ipad2 crashes multiple times a day after ios7 upgrade. This does not seem to be an app specific problem and has happened with Safari, other browsers, games, books, etc. The screen freezes and then the app closes to the reveal the desktop. I use the ipad exclusively in landscape. I have purged memory several times and tried re installation. I never had a problem with the device prior to the upgrade. Any suggestions or solutions? Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

If no joy...
Reset all settings
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings.
If the issue persists...
Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and Restore

Loss of sound iPad 2 after IOS7

I've had enough of seeing "reset your iPad" as the answer to this issue. I have spent hours on the phone with Apple support and have been through every form of backup and restore known to mankind. Fact is, I have an otherwise fully functional iPad 2 that went dumb after IOS7. The volume slider doesn't even show in Control Center. I have been told by Apple support that it looks like a software issue, if only because if I go to Settings and slide my volume control, it gives me perfectly good sample sounds.
FIX THIS APPLE or at least acknowledge it's an issue that's going to be fixed. I can wait, but you have taken my sound away with IOS7 and you need to give it back. No sound anywhere. No it's not the mute/screen lock setting, no, it's not my hardware, because it makes sample sounds. THIS IS AN ISSUE.

Sound Receiver Stopped working after iOS7 on iPhone5

I have been using iPhone 5. After installtion of iOS 7 my receiver stopped working. I can use bluetooth, speaker and headphone. But i cannot use phone receiver. I started working for a day after iOS7.0.2 for a day after that it stopped working one more time. I took it to Apple store; they replaced my receiver but still does not work. According to them it's out of warranty as i purchased the phone on first day when i went on sale and it's more than year. Anyone has any clue. The replacement cost is $269.
Any idea???

IPad2 charging issues after iOS7 upgrade

I recently upgraded iOS7 in my iPad 2, after the upgrade I find that the charging time has increased greatly! Not sure if this was due to using the iPad while charging. Yesterday left iPad2 for charging all through the night and more (12-14 hrs) only to find this has charged only 3%. The charging issues seems to have degraded over time. I had atleast charged fully (100%) once after iOS7 upgrade-which also took a lot time than iOS6.
All the charging I did was over wall Unit, with original chargers. I see from forums that this seems to be experienced by few more users. Anyone found any solution to this problem?
I have tried resetting, switching off the iPad 2 while charging with no success. I'm now regretting having upgraded to iOS7- which I liked. This is not what I expected from Apple.

I also have a Mac Air 2012, tried charging from Mac Air and it's now charging! Mac Air is now charging from the same wall unit location which I used for iPad 2 - so nothing wrong with the wall unit.
I just wish i could charge as fast from wall unit as with iOS 6. Any further guidance is greatly appreciated.
