No Sound - KT4V (MS-6712)with Win 7 32-bit

MOBO ... MSI KT4V(ms-6712) WITH WinXP is fine but I can get no sound from Win7 on second partition which is otherwise OK. Is there a driver I can use ?

Is iPod 5G compatible with win XP 64 bits edition ?

I bought a 5th generation iPod (with video).
I followed installation instructions, my iPod is detected by windows, but not by iTunes, or by iPod updater.
I tried the step given by Apple in the support section, but nothing happened, my iPod work with windows, but not with iTunes.
So i asked me if this is not an incompatibility with win XP 64 bit ?

Sound Card not compatible with WIN 7

I have a Dell 8200 Dimension Desktop (vintage 2002)?that I?ve just upgraded from XP Pro to Win 7. My Turtle Beach sound card no longer works since it is not compatible with Win 7. When I tried to install a non-Dell sound card, I found that the two sockets were not compatible with the Dell cables. I was told that I must have a Dell card since the plugs were proprietory Dell. I was given a Dell part number (38FRH) which supposedly was the card that would work as a replacement, i.e., be compatible with Windows 7. Dell no longer stocks this card since they stop supporting their computers after they are 5 years old.
Can?anyone help me solve my problem?

Which Dell cables? To the speakers? If so, time to change the speakers then.
Also try online such as eBay. Google for "Dell 38FRH". Ignore the Windows 7 drivers links. First few I found were fakes/scams. Scroll down. On the first page there were a couple of sites that carried it.
I would rather change the sound card [get something "modern"] and speakers than continue to use proprietary stuff.

HELP....need a good sound card that works with Windows 7 64 bit

I've searched the internet and I'm seeing that folks are struggling with getting sound cards to work with Windows 7 (particularly the 64 bit systems). I know there are stability issues with the 64 bit system but I'm looking to install a decent sound card to improve stereo sound from my HP Pavilion (h8-1260t). The onboard sound is OK, but I'm looking for higher fidelity and the shortcomings of the stock sound chip is noticeable when played through my hi fi system. Don't really need 'surround sound' (I'm not a gamer) but I'm assuming any card that comes with this feature will also produce a quality stereo signal. I also like to archive music from steaming sources and have found a significant loss of sound quality once the track is saved. I'm assuming a good sound card will help with this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest finding a sound card that you like and contacting the manufacturer's Customer Service to assure its compatibility with Win7 64-bit. They are the experts on their products. While I am not a fan of dedicated sound cards because their drivers are conflict prone, I would buy a Creative Soundblaster. They have been proven over time.

CUVA with Win 7 (32 Bit and 64 Bit) OS

Hi All,
Our users are facing issues with CUVA 2.1.2.0 [ CDP 2.1(0.6) ] with Windows 7 32 Bit and 64 Bit.
On Windows 7 the CDP Driver and version is visible but not on Windows 7 64 Bit.
On both the operating systems, users are not able to access the CUVA video. The status of the link between IP Phone and video is showing as disconnected.
I know of a old document on Cisco website which says its not compatible...Any alternatives?? updates??

FYI - I have installed Win 7 64-bit on a 3 year old dual core dell inspiron 6400 with 2GB of ram and it is running beautifully. So far, I have not seen any issues with 2GB of RAM. Boot up really fast. browsing seems faster, MS Office works great.
My new T400s will be next - just a bit nervous as i want to make sure that all the necessary drivers are available.

Cant play DRM encrypted content with Win 7 - 64 bits and IE9 - 64 bits

I have a problem that I need to resolve...
Everything runs fine with Firefox, Chrome, IE7, IE8, Safari on Windows XP 32 bits as well as 64 bits, except on Windows 7 64 bits with IE9 64 bits and Flash 11.3. 64 bits. Furthermore, it's work with Windows 7 32 bits with IE9 32 bits and flash 11.3 32 bits.
After the flash client executes a "loadVoucher(drmContentData)" for the licences server, I receive as a response the error code 3303 ?
According to the reference of the runtime error, it's says that the content is expired.

yes, the encrypted content packaged with the policy.expiration.endData only with a date very far away.
I tested that with IE9 32bit on Windows 7 64bit machine, the video works. Flash Access response without any error.

Installation error with Win XP 64 bit

I cannot install VC3 on a computer running Win xp 64-bit. VC3 tells me that it cannot install b/c I am not running Win xp. Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Simple answer is that it is not supported. Which seems to be common among 64bit windows operating systems.

Ram Upgrade in CQ61-411WM up to 8 gigs with Win 7 64 bit?

There is a company selling ram for this model that says with 32 bit the max is 4 gigs and the max with 64 bit is 8 gigs. Is this company wrong or are the HP specs page wrong?
This is the page that says 8 gigs will work for 64 bit in this machine.

Also the sticky in this forum about Upgrades says:

But as you see.. my specs page does NOT list the memory bus speeds!

Problems with Win 7 64 bits printer configuration on RDS Web Access

I have a scenario with RDS 2012 with Session host in 2008 R2 SP1, and on clients with windows XP SP3 and win 7 SP1 32 bits, printer configuration looks ok but in windows 7 64 bits it looks like a truncated configuration , i have been tested every solution
that was reported before, like changing GPO, install Drivers in the clients and in the server, changed display resolution (to print in video) and nothing works, is any issue or incompatibility reported in this cases ?

Problems with Win 7 64-bit and Outlook 2010 with iCloud setup

I have an iPhone 4, iPAD2, Windows Vista Desktop (home) and Windows 7 64-bit laptop (work) and I'm trying to sync Outlook 2010 on my laptop with Calendars and Contacts. iCloud works great on the iPhone, iPAD and Home Dekstop....but...
When installing iCloud on my Laptop, the software gives me the following error when trying to setup the system:
Your setup couldn't be started because the iCloud serverstopped responding.
Error: 0x80040108: Server Did Not Accept HTTP Request(HTTP 400)!
What is interesting is that it is sending all of my calendar event contacts email invites from my @me.com account but fails to install on my laptop.

Does ANYONE have a stable Lightroom 3.0 with Win 7 64-bit?

Now that I have a new Windows 7 64-bit system, I'm eager to upgrade to version 3. However, I see many problems reported here with Lightroom 3.0 and Windows 7 64. Is ANYONE having a good experience with this combination? Should I just wait for 3.1?

Scrolling through grid - instantaneous
No lag on adjustment brush
Using 2010 Process and Lens Corrections makes no difference.
If I have a very long list of adjustments the Develop mode render may increase to 1 1/2 secs
I defrag weekly, clean disk nightly, run MS Security Essentials with exceptions for NEFs, LR catalog and the cache (50 GB)
This machine was scary fast with 2.7 and maybe just a little bit slower with LR 3, but still a pleasure to work with in LR.

A P Elements 3 no longer works with win 7

A P Elements 3 no longer works with win 7, crashes when I click on preferences and no sound works in editor. So I want to upgrade but not seeing any dates with newer editions. Whats the oldest I can go to work with win 7 64 bit? Like maybe APE 10? Or maybe there is an update to fix 3?

I have Premiere Elements 4 through 13 on Windows 7 64 bit, and all are working fine.
You really do not want Premiere Elements 10 on a computer that uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card/graphics card.
And, 13/13.1 does not support Windows XP, Windows Vista, or OSX 10.7.
Do check System Requirement as well as computer resources.
How far are you getting with the Premiere Elements 3 install on Windows 7 64 bit? Depending on the answer to that question, have you been installing the 3.0.2 Update
after the 3 install?

Have you right clicked the desktop icon for the program, if you got that far, and selected Run As Administrator?
When you are trying to get Premiere Elements 3 on Windows 7 64 bit, are you at least doing that by ignoring the "not compatible" messages and moving onward through
the installation dialogs as long as it will let you?
