No sound on film previews, but sound on purchased films. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I'm having multipul audi problems since I updated my Apple TV to 6.0.2. I have audio when watching films, rentals and telivision series which I have purchased. But loose it when watching film previews, listening to music or streaming video from my iPod using AirPlay. Iv'e tried this with Dolby Digital on & off, Audio Output on auto & 16 bit, yet the issue remains. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be much appreciaited. Thanks.

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
    1.    Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
    2.    Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
    3.    Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    4.    Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
    5.    Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore)

I suspect the drive got disconnected, somehow, on that other system and corrupted the drive because of the Disconnection.
Connect it to your system and open Disk Utility and see if the drive is even being seen. If it is all the data on is more then likely lost and it will need to be repartitioned and or just erased and reformatted.

iMessage and FaceTime went down yesterday for some people. Mine is still down. My iMessage is saying the same thing about being activated. Sounds like you are still down too. Ignore the status page that says everything is fine - it lies.

I am currently having the same problem with music that is downloaded to my laptop and stored into itunes/itunes match which is not downloading to my ipad. I had this same problem a few months a go and it was fixed with a update to my ipad but it has happened again with most recent update. Sounds like there's actually an issue with your Home button. Screenshots happen when you press both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously.

Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing. It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone.
In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone. I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

My iPod touch 4th gen iOS5.1.1 can't be recognised by my computer and I have tried different cables and usb ports but nothing has worked. The iPod is brand new and was only opened today. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have just today recieved a brand new iPod Touch 4th generation iPod with the latest update. Everything else on the ipod is working and my computer is able to read the camera fine, but iTunes cannot recognise it - even after restarting and trying different USB ports and cables. There is nothing at all coming up on the device list and iTunes is working as it would if I had no iPod plugged in. This is my first iPod on this computer and I have already tried redownloading iTunes. My computer is a windows XP computer. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem?

Since this is an XP machine, which version of iTunes do you have installed? Is it the latest version?
Have you tried starting iTunes, attach the USB end of the cable, then while holding the home button on the iPod connect the 30-pin connector end of the cable to the iPod...that is the recovery mode but also should make iTunes see the iPod.
If that doesn't work you may need to take the iPod back and have it tested by the genius bar techs to make sure the connector is not bad.
