No sound using bootcamp with windows 10 and yosemite
Hi,
I've just installed Windows 10 preview on my iMac Retina with Yosemite. Everything works great but, I have no sound when using windows, I do have sound when on Yosemite. I've looked and still haven't found a working solution, any help would be appreciated?

No it's still there. It's coming from my iMac speakers only on the windows side. But if I play music through YouTube I hear the music through the headphone jack external speakers. But that **** sound won't go away. Did a repair lost all my sounds again. Just did another repair and that sound came back.
I went into sounds and turned them off and the sound went away...I listened to every sound there before I turned it off and none of them sounded like the sound I was getting. At least I can still hear my music through external speakers. I'm totally confused. Hopefully you'll have more for me?

I have a Macbook Air 13" (mid 2012), recently i installed windows 7 with my original disk and code. I downloaded all the drivers via bootcamp assitant, however everytime the machine keeps disconnecting spontaneously from the internet, and keep saying that there is not driver for the adapter.
What can i do???I install it according boot camp instructions. My thunderbolt adapter used to work fine with windows 7, but suddenly windows 7 did not recognize the driver of the adapter, and each time i install it, happens the same.

Windows can read Mac partition content, but can not write on it or delete items.
So, a virus, worm, trojan, keylogger os spyware can capture content data from your mac partition, that's a security issue, but can not corrupt your Mac system, partition or files stored there. Same thing happens when u r on Mac and have a windows NTFS partition, Mac virus can read them, but can't corrupt/erase.
(ok mac fans, I know that last Mac virus issues was caused by Java and another third party vulneabilities)
Even hidding the partition letter on windows (or on a mac), an application can explore it built for that. -
I have a macbook retina with a partition of windows 7 and Yosemite. When I use time machine in Yosemite it wont recognise the macintosh HD, but it recognises the windows hd (bootcamp ). Does anybody know why ?
Please provide a bit more detail on what 'recognize' means. A screen shot is always very helpful.

When I tried to sync my iPod Touch with my new computer none of the photographs were synced. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. When I did it the first time the photographs were all muddled up in their albums. When I tried to sync again the photographs were all removed. On the third try I received an error message something like 'Unable to sync photographs program cannot be found.' Can anyone help. (It may be to do with Windows 7 and Libraries??)

My desktop IMac OSX 10.6.8 : IMovie '11: Trying to upload a home movie clip from my Panosonic camera model PV-DV203D. I've had this camera several years, and used it with Windows desktop. Now trying to work with my Mac. I have a USB cable, both ends fit, but iMovie '11 does not recognize it. Is there a driver fix for this?
What kind of Mac to you have? This camera is a tape based DV one that connects best with firewire and I cannot tell if your Mac has firewire. If your mac *does* have firewire, get a camcorder firewire cable and try again.
ETA: Oops, I am pretty sure that all the "desktop iMacs" have firewire, so you should be good to go. You will probably need a cord that goes from FW800 to your camcorder. -
I am using a PC with window 7 and adobe photoshop 12. I have followed Photoshop Elements Help and I still have the same problem. When I try to backup Photoshop 12 it has stop on7% when calculating Total Media size. What can I do?

This issue appears where there are any inconsistencies in your catalog (generally for video files). This issue may be due to offline files, missing files, video scenes. I don't have a password on my phone. After attaching the phone to the Windows 7 computer, my DCIM folder is always empty. Here's the solution: While the phone is plugged in to the computer, pick it up and select the Photos application. A dialog box appears and asks if you trust this computer. Obviously, select the "Trust" option. Then the photos will download. If you have a password on your phone, I'm guessing you have to enter it before you open the photo application.

IO operations using ActiveX with Windows 8 64bit and IE 11 not working
We are using ActiveX for downloading file from the server, It works well with Windows 7 and XP but there is issue with Windows 8 and IE 11.It doesn't give any error for downloading files using ActiveX but file not downloaded and even does not generate log
file for the issues and error.
We are confused because it doesn't throw any error while log generation or downloading file
Is there any limitation for ActiveX with Windows 8 for IO operations.
We are stuck at this point. please help

1. Install PSE 11 in windows, upgrade your catalog, then make a full backup to a removable drive, like a usb drive, using the organizer's back up command. If you buy the boxed version you get discs for both platforms.
2. Install PSE on the mac.
3. Restore the backup to the mac. Point the restore to the .tly file in the folder, not the enclosing folder. -
