No sound when i plug in my headset HELP! ALSO BB TURNS ON AND OFF
example i can only play music on speaker phone but when i try to use headset it does not play nothing no sound at all i have tried so many headphones so my headphones is not the problem

You're selecting the Output tab in System Preferrences > Sound then selecting the correct device?

weird. When I do it, I have to spell out comma and period if I don't want the punctuation... I just tried the exact same phrase and got "As I said, please don't disturb me." Is there a setting under dictation that says something like "spell out punctuation"?

My old 1st gen ipod touch wont turn on and makes a clicking sound when I plug it in. The ipod doesnt turn on when I plug it into the wall, even if I let it charge, and itunes won't recognize it. I have tried to reset it with the home and power buttons. Whats wrong and how can I fix it? I think it might be the memory or the battery. What could the clicking sound be related to? Thanks
Try placing the iPod in recovery mode and then try restoring the iPod. For recovery mode see:

so i accidentally washed my itouch and i took it apart and dried it but now the screen is black, i restored it but it still doesn't work but it makes a sound when i plug it in like it normally would. please help me

If so I conclude thay the washing damaged something and servie is required. Ormaybe you damaged something when you took it apart/put it back together. -

Sounds like the battery is shot and in need of a replacement. You can have Apple replace the battery for a flat fee or you can send it into a third party repair center for a bit less.
Not much else you can do for troubleshooting this one.

I just bought my ICARPLAY Wireless 200-ZML. I have an iPod with clickwheel (20Gb).
When I conncect the ipod to the wireless transmitter the checkmark sign appears, as described in the manual. After that, instead of returning to the ipod menu, the checkmark disappears and turns up again. This keeps on repeating itself. No menu, no sound. Pressing 'S' on the transmitter has no effect.
Is this what you mean? Anyone also seen this? Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

I have bought an ipad, and when i go to reset it, it needs the restrictions password which i dont know. When i plug it into itunes, it asks to turn find my iphone off, which needs the password of the old owners itunes.What should i do?
If you're able to contact the person who set the lock, send them this link and tell them to follow its instructions.
If not, you can't use the device but may be able to get it refunded. Apple won't remove the lock for anyone other than the original owner(assuming they're alive.)

If your iPhone 4 was running iOS 5, you can't install iOS 5 on an iPhone 3G which means you can't restore the 3G from the backup of the iPhone 4 running iOS 5.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
