No sound when i try to record my iPad screen

It worked a few times before, but for some reason when i try to use quicktime player to record my iPad screen I get no sound. As the iPad is playing i don't hear any sound and when I check the recording there also isn't any sound. the video part works find. I juts can't figure out how to hear the iPad . in the settings next to the red record button, i have the iPad selected in both microphone and camera

Hear your microphone or instrument as you play and record (monitoring)
You can hear, or monitor, input from an instrument or microphone in GarageBand while you play and record. When you turn on monitoring for a track, you hear the musical instrument or microphone connected to the track’s input. Monitoring lets you hear yourself play so that you can hear the part you want to record as well as the rest of the project.
You can turn on monitoring for a Real Instrument track or Electric Guitartrack from the track’s header, or in the Track Info pane. Electric Guitar tracks always show their monitoring buttons, and you can show monitoring buttons for Real Instrument tracks using a menu command. You can use monitoring with feedback protection to avoid feedback while you play.

Choose Track > “Show Monitoring for Real Instrument Tracks.”Monitor buttons appear in the headers of Real Instrument tracks. On tracks with monitoring turned on, the button lights yellow.

For an Electric Guitar track, you can view the Monitor pop-up menu by clicking Edit, and then clicking the back side of the amp. The Monitor pop-up menu appears with the input controls below the stage.
You should usually turn off monitoring when you are not playing or singing. When monitoring is turned on, your computer can pick up output from your speakers or monitors, causing unwanted feedback. Using headphones rather than speakers to listen to your projects can help eliminate feedback.
If you select your computer’s built-in microphone as the audio input, in the Audio/MIDI pane of GarageBand preferences, monitoring is turned off for all Electric Guitar tracks to avoid unwanted noise.

I will be happy to assist you with the audio issue you are experiencing. I will need to know what your product number is as there are several models in the g6 series. Also make sure that your microphone is set as the default recording device. This link will show you how to do it. It will be about half way done the link and it is for Windows 7 but if you search for Control Panel on the tile screen and then go into Sound from there the rest of the steps are the same.

It sounds like you could be having an issue with one of the microphones on your iPhone 5. Your iPhone 5 has three microphones that function together and separately, depending on what is using them.

I FOUND THIS ON ANOTHER FORUM,TURNS OUT IT FIXED MY ISSUE!!!
{I also had this problem a couple of weeks ago. I recorded video on my iphone 4s and there was no sound on playback, but when I synced the video to my MBP, the audio was there. I was surprised I couldn't find the answer on the internet. I found some postings where people said to stick a pin in the hole next to the microphone, and they swore that worked. But, that sounded a little dangerous to try on my new iphone4s.
So I finally went to the genius bar and asked them. It turned out that the volume buttons on the side of the iphone are set differently for each of the built-in apps that use it. So while I had the volume set comfortably for cell phone use, it turned out that it was set to zero for video playback within the Camera app.
As a former user interface designer, it's perplexing to me that the volume buttons DO NOT universally apply to all the apps on the iPhone. You'd think the Apple manuals or website would tell users, but I couldn't find this in any of their documentation online.}

Have you turned up the volume?
Try the buttons, or the bottom audio slider.
Does your phone normally play audio?
And have you tried to record and audio note to check if your microphone is not faulty.

No sound when I try to access Videos on my iPhone6

There is No sound when I try to access videos on my iPhone6 and it won't let me turn up the volume as well. I had to restart the phone in order to play the videos with sound. It happens several times per day. Is there any solution to this issue? Thanks!!

If I understand correctly, you are losing sound and the ability to increase the volume many times a day, and the only way to get it back is to restart your phone. This sounds like a software issue to me, so I would start by quitting all the apps that are running, and then reset your phone:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

This is because you have Punch on the fly enabled under Options (top menu)>Audio>Punch on the Fly.... signified by the letter P instead of the letter R

Soundbooth error when I try to record - WinFile.cpp-705

We are using Soundbooth on a high school classroom computer. When we try to record from a microphone we get the following error message: ..\..\Src\Win\WinFile.ccp-705
Does anyone know what is causing this error?
The permission rights on school computers are fairly restricted. Our school's Tech Department blames the problem on Quicktime. I think this is a permissions issue.

I have Adobe Captivate 6 and use Windows 7 Enterprise. Below is a screen shot of the error. Unfortunatley, it is in German, but it says : Adobe Captivate can't be started. Check to see if Adobe Captivate is configured to be run in adminstrator mode. If so, configure Microsoft Powerpoint to be run in administrator mode and restart Adobe Captivate.

This is probably one of the files that is required by the template you are using.
These files are inside the iWeb app. Control click the iWeb app icon and select "Show package contents".
You need to dig down through the folders and files to find what you want...
Contents/Resources/da.lproj/Templates/
If the file is missing you would need to re install the iWeb app...

I have just set up my webcam (Logitech QuickCam 9000) and I can see myself in the preview window of VC 3. In the setup menue, it indicates camera 1 as Camtasia Studio and camera 2 as the webcam. I set the input device to camera 2, but when I try to record something it reverts to camera 1 and says "no camera found". What am I doing wrong?
