No sounds even though sounds is on in settings so what has gone wrong?

The iPhone has most the sounds on the touch screen have checked in settings and sounds is switched ON.

From what you say, you are getting some but not all sounds? Make sure in Settings > Sounds you have a sound for each function that will have a sound function. Then do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if it appears.

Please check if Menu is pinned or not, if not then pin the menu on page and then it will not scroll with page.

have you tried to download from itunes, this way you can start narrowing down what it could be. If you can download from iTunes it could be an iPad problem. If it doesn't work with iTunes it could be an account issue..

My macbook pro will not hold life even though it is plugged in when I use it. I know the battery life is about gone, but didn't realize this effects it when plugged in or does it. It is about 7 years old. This is second battery. Am I right to think this?

You are right - a dead battery can some times play these kinds of tricks.
If this is a removable battery, I suggest you take out the battery and try running it on the power adpater alone.

Email logon script keeps popping up even though it is saved in settings

I am using Outlook as my email client. I have recently been getting an Internet E-mail popup asking me for my user id and password even though I did not change anything in my settings or computer. The popup happens intermittently although I suspect it is when the system is trying to retrieve email. Using Windows 7. What could be causing this and how do I fix it? Microsoft seems to offer to support and they said I should contact my internet provider. Stopped here first.

I had the same issue on two PCs, running Outlook 2010 & 2013. Finally got through to support. I needed to change incoming server to : pop.verizon.net I had it set to incoming.verizon.net. Hope it helps.

My iphone won't charge and won't play music anymore. I have tried reseting it and switching it off. Have tried 3 different chargeres and even a car charger. Does anyone know what could be wrong and how I can fix it?

I have an iPhone 4 not quite 2 years old. 2 nights ago my iPhone was on its charger and it kept vibrating as if it was being disconnected and re-connected from the charger. When I looked at it had an "error" message but now I don't know what that was as it was 3am and I was half asleep. I just diconnected the charger and the battery read fully charged.
The my volume wouldn't go up or down. The box with "ringer" in it came up but no bars at the bottom to show the volume is increasing or decreasing. It would not play music out of the speakers either even though the screen showed it was playing and it would not work in our dock/speaker unless I used bluetooth and even then, if we touched the volume button on the dock it would switch off.
I tried a "hard" reset 3 times and tried switching it off and on 3 times with no success.
I tried 3 different chargers including a car charger, plus the speaker dock with no success.
It is now out of battery and I cannot charge it.
The iPhone also would not back anything up prior to the battery going flat.
I just need to know if it is fixable or do I need to start looking for a new phone?

ITunes can't locate some of my music... seems random... some was purchased, other songs from my CDs. Also, it won't sync some that were purchased to my iPhone even though it shows in my iTunes. What to do?

iTunes shows quite a few songs that it can't locate. Some were songs that were purchased, others are from my CDs... not the entire album, just some of the songs. The songs still show up on my iPhone from previous syncs. Also, I purchased some that I've put in a playlist and it plays fine on my computer, though it won't sync to my phone. The others that I've purchased in the same manner do, just not that one. I've tried adding it elsewhere, I have deleted it and re-downloaded it... yet it still won't show up on my phone when I attempt to sync it. This has all occured since I've updated it to iOS 7. Any advice to remedy this is greatly appreciated.

Actually no. After installing an app on one device, I used to see an "install" button on the second device (since it's already been paid for). Now i get the full price button on the second device. I didn't want to proceed with the purchase because i didn't want to be billed twice.
