No summary button on ribbon

Same three Apple devices, same recharge cable, Version 11.01 itunes.
Bring up itunes, plub in device, no "Summary" button on ribbonbar. So how do I sync now?

I have the same issue, and responded with this screenshot on a different thread. For the courses shown, I enrolled on a different device with the same Apple ID. But I can't enroll in anything with my iPhone4S because there is no + sign next to Catalog.

  • Remove button from Ribbon in a specific toolbar

    Hi,
    I have created a custom list using feature. the list contains 7 content types inheriting from another custom content type. I have set the toolbar type for different views to "None".
    I want to remove the attach file option from Actions group in Ribbon. I tried the solution given in
    http://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/32606/remove-button-from-ribbon-in-a-specific-toolbar
    by specifying custom action with
     the Registration type "ContentType" and registration Id "Content Type Id" for all the content types.
    <CustomAction
    Id="RemoveUploadButton"
    Location="CommandUI.Ribbon"
    RegistrationType="ContentType"
    RegistrationId="{firstcontenttypeid}">
    <CommandUIExtension>
    <CommandUIDefinitions>
    <CommandUIDefinition
    Location="Ribbon.ListItem.Actions" />
    </CommandUIDefinitions>
    </CommandUIExtension>
    </CustomAction>
    <CustomAction
    Id="RemoveUploadButton"
    Location="CommandUI.Ribbon"
    RegistrationType="ContentType"
    RegistrationId="{secondcontenttypeid}">
    <CommandUIExtension>
    <CommandUIDefinitions>
    <CommandUIDefinition
    Location="Ribbon.ListItem.Actions" />
    </CommandUIDefinitions>
    </CommandUIExtension>
    </CustomAction>
    but still the attach file option is appearing in ribbon under item tab. When I set the toolbar type to "Standard" attach file option disappear.
    Please help. TIA
    -Harry

    Hi,
    I tried to reproduced your issue like this: Create a custom Item Content Type, apply it to a custom list. Then I create a custom action for this custom Content Type with the
    code you provided.
    The outcome is: When I set the Toolbar Type as “Full Toolbar” or “Show Toolbar”, the “Attach File” button disappear as expected, when I set the Toolbar Type as “Summary Toolbar”
    or “No Toolbar”, the “Attach File” button appears again.
    Anyway, I will try to work on it or involve someone familiar with this topic to further look at this issue.
    Thanks

  • I am trying to update my software on my iPad 1. I am synched to my MacBook Pro. I have been instructed to click the Summary button.Where is it?

    I am trying to update my software on my iPad. I am synched to my MacBookPro and I have been instructed to click the " Summary button". Where is it?

    If the iPad is connect to the Mac and iTunes is running, you have to click on the iPad name under the device heading first in the sidebar on the left and then you will see the Summary Tab at the top of the iTunes window on the right. Then click on the Summary Tab at the top.
    If you don't see the sidebar in iTunes 11 - go to View>Show Sidebar in the iTunes menu at the top of the screen.

  • I just downloaded itunes 11.4 and the "Summary" button does not show up?

    Hello,
    I just downloaded iTunes 11.4 on my Windows 7 Premium laptop to perform an encrypted backup of my ifone 4 before receiving my ifone6.  However, the "Summary button" is not showing up in iTunes.  So I'm not able to select encrypt backup.  I can perform a non-encrypted backup by going File->Devices->backup and that seems to create a backup.  But without the ability to create an encrypted backup my passwords won't be saved in the backup, is this true?  Does Versions 11.4 automatically encrypt and save off all the ifone passwords?
    Kind regards,

    Go to settings -> iCloud and  turn calendar on. This should hopefully resolve your issue

  • "New Document" button on ribbon not working in the "Master Page Gallery" in Internet Explorer 10 & 11

    I'm trying to add a "JavaScript Display Template" to my "Master Page Gallery" but when I click on the "New Document" button and select "JavaScript Display Template" it opens the "Add a master page" dialog
    and prompts me to upload a file.  I've ran into this problem with "Compatibility View" set to both "On" or "Off".  I'm able to upload files but I can't get the new forms to show up.
    This happens on the root site collection site.  For subsites, the "New Document" button is completely grayed out.
    FYI - I am a site collection admin and in the "Owners" group for each site.
    How can I fix this?

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that "New Document" button on ribbon falied to work in the "Master Page Gallery".
    In the root site, please make sure you enter all the necessary information when you upload file.
    In the other word, you need to make sure the save the “JavaScript Display Template" successfully.
    In the subsites, when you click the “Master Page” under Master Page Gallery in the sub site site setting page, the "New Document" button is completely grayed out.
    If you want to add the template, you need to active the “SharePoint Server Publishing” feature in the Site sitting->Manage site features.
    However, the “Master Page” under Master Page Gallery will become to “Master pages and page layouts”.
    If you click the Master pages and page layouts”, you will go to the
    Master Page Gallery of the root site, and then you can add Document.
    Thank you for your understanding.

  • Where is the Summary button in iTunes?

    I want to select what I want to upload to my iphone 5. I have the most recent version of ITunes. Can't find anything in it. Don't see the beauty of the "upgrade." For today, I would like to know where the "Summary button" is so I can tell iTunes what to upload to my iPhone...as per instruct ITunes what to upload.

    If you select your Iphone from the box you will go straight to the Summary page.
    Or View > ShowSidebar and your device will be in the left hand windo. Select it and see your summary page

    Very interesting answer Ravinchandra. I've tested it without editing page in SP Designer and just by adding it in a script editor web part and it has the same result.
    However in my scenario I would need to dynamically hide/show same based on the curent user's permission.
    How could I make your script integrate with javascript from this post to achieve above?
    Thanks and Regards,

    I'm trying to sync my ipad over wifi, with my MAC, I have the updated software on my MAC, the ipad is up to dat 6.1.2.  I can follow all of the steps, but I can't find a SUMMARY button on the toolbar, nor do I receive the option to sync.  What am I doing wrong or what should I look for?  Thank You

    To sync your iPad over Wifi:
    First ensure you're running iTunes 11.0.2. And you already have your iPad up to date, good.
    Plug your iPad into the Mac via USB. Click your iPad in the top toolbar (under the search bar). Click the Summary tab if it isn't already selected. Check the box to "Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi" (you may have to scroll down to see it). And now click the Apply button at the bottom right.
    You should be able to unplug your iPad from the Mac and it should still remain in iTunes. (If not, try Quitting and relaunching iTunes and waiting, restarting iPad, etc).
    To initiate a sync over Wifi, click your iPad in the toolbar in iTunes then click Sync. Or on your iPad, go to Settings > General > iTunes Wifi Sync and tap "Sync Now."
    If this didn't solve your problem, please let me know with a more detailed explanation of what you're experiencing so I can try to help you get up and syncing wirelessly!

  • Significance of A/R Summary button in FD32 transaction

    If you go into FD32 to look at the customer credit on the status screen there is a "A/R SUMMARY" button. When we first chose this button we found the data to be very old and out of date. We also found that if we ran FCV1 "Create the AR Summary" it updated this information which is great. Unfortunately it does not seem to update unless you run this transaction periodically.
    What is the significance of having this button when the 'Receviable' value can be viewed in the FD32 main screen?
    Also is there any way by which we can make the system to automatically updated the information in this A/R Summary?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Help please--cannot get summary button to work???!!!!

    Hi all,
    I am trying to get a summary of results on a survey, and I did have a portion of it working, but needed to add more code to complete it.
    When I hit the display summary button--nothing happens. There is a problem with my logic, but no logic errors come up. I must have created an infinite loop.
    Your help is much appreciated!!!!!

    Hi and thanks for your help!
    I did invoke the method with a handler. Maybe I should have given you the entire code that I have in the first place.
    The first part of the code, and the other method seems to be working, so I was focusing on where the problem is.
    By the way- tried the system.out.printli, but since nothing happens when I click the summary button, I cannot even get any values to print in the command prompt.
    Here is the entire app:

  • I cannot find the summary button?

    Where do I find the summary button? I am trying to sync my device but cannot even get started.  I am not very technical!

    If you  have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

  • Adding custom button to Ribbon for custom list definition

    I'm trying to add a custom button to the ribbon, specifically for a custom list definition.  I have two custom list definitions, one for a document library (Type="11008") and one for a list (Type="10002").
    I can use the following CustomAction to successfully add a button to the document library ribbon:
    <CustomAction Id="MyCustomAction.DocLib"
    RegistrationId="11008"
    RegistrationType="List"
    Location="CommandUI.Ribbon">
    <CommandUIExtension>
    <CommandUIDefinitions>
    <CommandUIDefinition Location="Ribbon.Library.Share.Controls._children">
    <Button
    Id="MyCustomAction.DocLib.Button"
    Alt="Help"
    Sequence="5"
    Command="SayHi"
    Image32by32Left="-64" Image32by32Top="-320" Image32by32="/_layouts/$Resources:core,Language;/images/formatmap32x32.png"
    Image16by16Left="-64" Image16by16Top="-176" Image16by16="/_layouts/$Resources:core,Language;/images/formatmap16x16.png"
    LabelText="Say Hi!"
    TemplateAlias="o1"/>
    </CommandUIDefinition>
    </CommandUIDefinitions>
    <CommandUIHandlers>
    <CommandUIHandler Command="SayHi" CommandAction="javascript:alert('Hi!');"/>
    </CommandUIHandlers>
    </CommandUIExtension>
    </CustomAction>
    If I try to do the same thing for my list, the button does not show up:
    <CustomAction Id="MyCustomAction.List"
    RegistrationId="10002"
    RegistrationType="List"
    Location="CommandUI.Ribbon">
    <CommandUIExtension>
    <CommandUIDefinitions>
    <CommandUIDefinition Location="Ribbon.List.Share.Controls._children">
    <Button
    Id="MyCustomAction.List.Button"
    Alt="Help"
    Sequence="5"
    Command="SayHi"
    Image32by32Left="-64" Image32by32Top="-320" Image32by32="/_layouts/$Resources:core,Language;/images/formatmap32x32.png"
    Image16by16Left="-64" Image16by16Top="-176" Image16by16="/_layouts/$Resources:core,Language;/images/formatmap16x16.png"
    LabelText="Say Hi!"
    TemplateAlias="o1"/>
    </CommandUIDefinition>
    </CommandUIDefinitions>
    <CommandUIHandlers>
    <CommandUIHandler Command="SayHi" CommandAction="javascript:alert('Hi!');"/>
    </CommandUIHandlers>
    </CommandUIExtension>
    </CustomAction>
    What am I missing that is keeping me from getting this button to show up in my List ribbon?

    Well, I debated just deleting my question, but I'll leave it up in case someone else runs into this.  My custom list definition for my list had <Toolbar Type="Freeform" />.  I don't remember why I changed that, but once I changed
    that back to <Toolbar Type="Standard"/> my custom buttons started showing up as expected.
    The answer
    here pointed me in the right direction.

  • Delete document button in ribbon gives javascript error: g is not a function

    Hello,
    We have a default SharePoint 2010 installation. So an out of the box site template, out of the box document libraries/lists etc, out of the box theme (default one) etc.
    When we check the checkbox next to a document in the shared documents library, the tab in the ribbon automatically switches to the document tab. In this tab there is a button "delete document". When I click that I get a confirmation request, I click OK,
    and then I get a little yellow box in the upper right corner that tells me SharePoint is deleting the document, and then nothing happens.
    The document stays where it is, no refresh of the page as SharePoint should do...
    I have a javascript error, and in FireFox it tells me "g is not a function" on line 2 of the file inplview.js?rev=AohvE9XEf%2FI78tuaw1TGAA
    Line 2 contains like 100 javascript functions on the same line, so it's impossible to find out which function or command throws the error.
    This is not a file created by me, so I guess it comes with SharePoint and that I should not touch it.
    So what do I do now?
    I have another server that we use for SharePoint testing, and there the button works as it should, so it's not SharePoint either...
    Problem is that we use this server to give basic SharePoint trainings to our employees, so it's not a very good start when we have to say the delete button is broken but will work in the actual production environment...

    Hi Stefan,
    In our case the problem was caused because initially we had set the authentication to basic authentication, and then changed the setting to claims based authentication. Somehow this causes SharePoint to give errors.
    I don't know if the same error occurs when you choose claims based authentication from the beginning (so without changing it after creating the web application).
    In our case we had the same behavior, in the ribbon the button didn't work, but in the context menu it did work.
    I don't have any other info, as I said in my previous post, I couldn't find any info on this issue on the net. We figured this one out ourselves. I don't know how to keep the claims based authentication, for us it was just a test to try out that type of
    authentication. Since we were running into problems and we didn't really need it we reverted it back to basic authentication.
