No support RAW for Lumix LX100

Lightroom 5 does not support panasonic Lumix LX100. Update soon?

There are no announcements. When a new version of Lightroom or Camera Raw is available your software should notify you when you start it. If that doesn't work you can check here on the forum. New releases are always announced at the top of the forum. But you will see no announcements of upcoming features or camera additions.

  • Does aperture 3.5 support RAW for Olympus E-M1

Does Aperture 3.5 support RAW for the new Olympus E-M! camera yet?
    Thanks

I understand, why you are cautious with updates and do not want to jump on the bandwaggon, since you need to keep your equipment working. The upgrade to Mt. Lion is worth it. It makes Lion more usuable.
Why is EM-1 RAW compatibility NOT installable on OS 10.7.5...!
SInce Lion has Apple changed the raw support strategy. Raw support is now part of the operating system and no longer an update to the applications. Apple did not say why, we can only speculate - but this new strategy makes it possible to write the raw support, so that it will profit from the better support for multi kernel processors in the newer systems, so that raw developement can be computed more efficiently on the new MacPros.

  • RAW conversion Lumix LX100

I just bought Panasonic Lumix LX100, which has a RAW-profile in Lightroom.  But when I import images to Lightroom the highlights/whites become pink or light purple.  If I export the files to DxO however, and reimport them to lightroom as DNG the whites are white.  Is there a problem in the Lumix LX100-compatibility or am I doing something wrong?

Can you provide a sample raw file?  This is probably something Adobe needs to see.  Upload a raw file with highlights that turn pink to http://www.dropbox.com/ and post a public share link, here.

  • Elements 11 won't support RAW for Nikon D3300, no plug-in updates

Got a new Nikon D3300 and Elements 11 doesn't seem to support the file format.  I keep getting an error.  Tried to find a plug-in update but there is nothing for 11.  I need this fixed ASAP - what can I do!!??

Besides upgrading to pse 13, you could use the 8.6 dng converter to convert the 3300 nef files to dng copies, which pse 11 should then open.
(if you have windows xp, vista or mac os x 10.6, then you won't be to use the 8.6 dng converter or any dng converter that supports the nikon 3300)

  • No RAW for Lumix G3 elements 9

Also vielen dank und beste Grüße Ulrich Scheib

Ja, ich hatte in der letzten Zeit nicht mehr nachgesehen, aber Adobe hat jetzt den ACR 6.5 Release Candidate in die Adobe Lab site gestellt, hier:
    http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/cameraraw6-5.html
Wie gesagt, diese Version ist nur fuer das grosse Photoshop Programm, Sie koennen sie aber trotzdem verwenden, wenn Sie durch die folgende Prozedur gehen:
Download Camera Raw 6.5 plug-in for Windows
    Voila!
    Viel Spass,

  • Does iPhoto support RAW for Fuji X-S1?

I just bought a Fuji X-S1 to use as a safari camera. I'm experimenting with it and was not able to get iPhoto to import RAW files. Any suggestions?

  • RAW support for Lumix DMC LX2

RAW support for Lumix DMC LX2--is this available? coming? Now that I have purchased Aperture and downloaded 1.5, am sad to find that I still must process RAW for my camera in Photoshop.
    Thoughts? Help?

Did you try to first convert your RAW file into a DNG file (using Adobe DNG converter) and then import it in your Aperture library?
I'm planning to buy an LX2 as an everyday camera, and I have the same issue.
If you find a solution please tell me.

  • CS4 raw support for Lumix LX5 RW2 files

It appears that the new Camera Raw Adapter 6.2 that supports the new Lumix LX5 raw files is not compatible with Photoshop CS4.  Does this mean I will never be able to process LX5 raw files with CS4?

Adobe provides backwards compatibility in CS2, CS3 and CS4 for new cameras through the FREE DNG Converter:
    Win: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4803
    Mac: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4802
There are other benefits to using DNG besides backward compatibility if you haven’t explored those:
The metadata, keywords and RAW adjustments are stored in the file – along with a processed preview of the image. This makes the file portable and keeps your metadata safe and secure.
DNG files are smaller than the original RAW file which will save you disk space and time in the long run.
DNG is an openly specified file format which means the file format isn’t going away. So if you use another RAW processor that supports DNG, you don’t have to worry about compatibility or portability of your metadata.

  • RAW support for Lumix GX1?

When will Aperture start supporting RAW files from Panasonic Lumix GX1? Do I really have to switch to Lightroom?

I think the Aperture RAW releases are consistently shoddy versus Adobe.  And Adobe is not a company people tend to hype.
I've had a GX1 since before Christmas, and about 10 weeks later RAW suuport is still not available in Aperture while it has been in Adobe Camera Raw for some time.  Apple consistently drags the chain on getting RAW updates out.
No sense blaming the camera manufacturer.  It's unlikely they rush details to Adobe and sit back for a few months before letting Apple know.
I paid about $250 for Aperture in Australia and soon after it was being sold for around $80.  Not a happy experience.  Now with Lightroom 4 floating around, I think I'll be switching soon.
It's strange how Apple offers such a great customer experience and such excellent products across most of the company, while little niches like Aperture and Filemaker seem to so lag behind.

  • Camer RAW for Panasonic Lumix LX-100

I don't see my camera on the Photo Shop camera list...is there a work around, or can somebody suggest an alternative if we're waiting for it to be added?

Adobe Camera Raw 8.7 does support it Lumix LX100 raw files
Adobe Camera Raw, Lightroom and DNG Converter add EOS 7D II, X100T, G7 X, NX1 and LX100 support: Digital Photography Rev…
So if you have Photoshop CS6 or later, get the 8.7.1 Camera Raw Plugin or the DNG Converter if you have CS5 or earlier.
Camera Raw 8.7.1 is now available

  • Does Aperture support RAW files from a Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ27 camera?

Please can anyone let me know whether Aperture supports RAW files from a Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ27 camera? The Apple Aperture site lists support for DMC-F35 and other later cameras but does not allow a search for others.
    Many thanks.
    John

Only the cameras on this list are supported:  Apple - Aperture - Technical Specifications - RAW Support
    Th FZ27 is not.
For my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 I am using Adobe's free DNG Coverter to convert the RAW files to DNG. It does not always work, but for most of the RW2 files I can work in Aperture this way. The stubborn files I convert to TIFF.

We don't know Apple's plans - this is a User to User Forum. Send feedback to Apple that you want your camera to be supported.
The latest raw support has been released just two days ago, so it probably will be at least a month or longert till the next release. The list of currently supported cameras is here:

Is there a update for Photoshop Elements 8 that will support raw files from a Canon T3i 600d?

    You have two alternatives:
    (1) Upgrade to PSE 9,10 or 11. (2) Download and install the free Adobe DNG converter to convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)
Windows download click here DNG Converter 7.3
Mac download click here DNG Converter 7.3
You can convert a whole folder of raw images in one click. See this quick video tutorial:
