No system could activate this substitution rule

Hi,
While trying to set the substitution I am getting the error "No system could activate this substitution rule".
The tasks are appearing correctly on the UWL task list .please guide me on this issue.

Hi Jean-François,
Have you maintained the RFC destination as mentioned in note number 1133821? If this is not done you can see some issues with substitution. Also are you choosing a substitution profile other than All and does this profile exist in the system?

Substitution Rules for FB70

Dear experts,
We have an ECC environment in which an FI substitution rule is configured. It's working fine in the DEV client and it generated the
GBTAUFIB include. In the QAS client it generated an include with a different name, GBTIMFIB. This include that was generated is
different from the one generated in the DEV environment. For example, it doesn't the have the call to the substitution rule
exit was created.
How are these includes generated?

We´re not really sure because the include code is different in both DEV and QAS. We're actually a support team analyzing this problem from which we have very little information.
We think it was transported, but we would still like to know are the proper steps to create this substitution rule.If you could point us in the right direction, we would certainly appreciate it.

Substitution rule not working

The substitution rule for getting the desired Business place and Section code is not working in Transaction code MRIS, whereas this substitution rule is working in all other Transaction codes.
Please suggest.

Subsitution rule works when you are posting in Financial Accounting tables: BSEG and BKPF. FB60 and MIRO do that.
The report doesn't make post in mentioned tables to get substitution done. Please make sure if there is a existing call transaction or only a planning are being assigned.

Substitution rule has to triggered after save document in FB70 and FB75

HI,
I have a substitution rule for REFNR field and that will trigger when you make FB70 and FB75 for 2 company codes. In the user exit for subustitution we have a code to get the next object number for some other purpose. because third party will use this generated next number for their legal requirement.
The real problem comes this substitution rule is triggered before save document. due to this if i came back from the transaction without saving the document I am losing that generated number which i dont want.
I need some tips on this. is there a way in the substituion settings we will trigger this exit at save document.
I would appreciate your inputs on this.

call point 001 is document header
call point 002 is document item
call point 003 is complete document.
I am assuming 003 triggers after complete the document.
Any clue on this.

Sometimes it happens when phone is not connected to Internet. If it is not - try connect to itunes on the computer and activate again. If it is - good luck and advice to reset password.

On a new setup I get error message "'could not activate this table (3001)''

Hi,
I am busy setting up my new playbook and get an error message on the software update screen: "'could not activate this table (3001)'' please try changing your settings.
What settings am I meant to change?
There is a button for settings and when I press this, the playbook takes me back to the connect to WI-FI screen. The WI-FI screen shows that I am currently connected. When I click on hotspot setup, the screen comes back and says I am already connected to the internet.
Can anybody please assist me to complete my setup so that I can start using the playbook?

FF not connecting to web- This "Network Connections" message pops up: Error 623: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection. Any ideas?

About a month ago I could no longer connect to the internet on our PC. Every time I clicked on the Firefox icon the Netscape sign-on window would pop up. I would try to close it but it would pop up over and over again. If I tried to close it a dozen or so times eventually Firefox would open up but it would never connect. Just today I moved my Netscape file to the recycle bin. No longer does the Netscape sign-on window pop up but following Network Connection error message pops up: "Error 623: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection".. This error window behaves the same way the Netscape sign-on window used to behave. Every time I click to close it it pops open again. After numerous clicks Firefox opens up but it never connects.

Do you have this error message on a Mac computer or on a Windows computer?
I've only seen this error mentioned on a Windows computer.

If it is a retail version ,then you need to deactivate it and uninstall it as well from your old computer and then you can install it back on the new computer.
If it a subscription based software ,then you just need to deactivate it and you can operate the same on your new computer by entering in your credentials .

My iphone is stuck in a state of "could not activate this iPhone"...

I've had the iOS 7 bet for as long as its been out, and it automatically updated to the full OS when that was released, and now, last night it just interrupted my usage, and brought me to a screen prompting me to "activate this iphone" and whenever I sign in and click "activate this iphone" nothing happens, than after a few minutes it says "could not activate this iphone"...
Someone please help me. I also tried using itunes to activate it, but it says its fully updated. And I cant even restore it: because it says I must first "turn off findmyiphone in the settings on my phone" but those settings are unreachable. someone. please. help. I'm gonna try to dfu it and see if i can restore it after that if no one responds soon enough... thanks guys!

500 internal error in managhe substitution rule in UWL

Hi All,
One user is getting 500 internal error when cklicks on manage substitution rule in UWL.Only one user is facing this problem.
I checked in backend system, so substitute exists.
Can some body help me what could be the problem? Thanks in advance.

This is a common issue and usually has to do if the 'substitutee' for lack of a better word, is no longer a valid user.
4. When there is a substitution rule connecting the current user to a
deleted user, the following problems were discovered:
   - substitution rule management returns 500 browser error;
   - it is not possible to delete a Java Workflow substitution which
refers to a deleted user as assignee;
   - Java workflow connector is not able to retrieve items for user that
has a substitution rule with a deleted user;
   - The "status", "What to do", "assignee" and "Task Owner" fields are
not properly filled in the Manage Substitution Rules view.
Do a search in SAP notes in component EP-BC-UWL and also for your version. Alternatively you can let me know the version here and I can tell you in what release this is fixed in that matches closest to your version. (maybe only a patch required).

Payment Block in Substitution Rule

I' created a Substitution rule to block particular vendor invoices at callup point 2 when they are entered in the system. At some point in time, I need to unblock these vendor invoices in order to make a payment. When I unblock the invoices, my substitution rule keeps blocking the invoices again. What do I need to do to only have my Substitution Rule work at the time of invoice entry?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK I am not sure your processes you currently use.
Do you use MIRO or FB60.
You could JUST add the tcode to your rule if you new the tcodes you used to create the vendor postings.
Please consider Vendor credits as well, do they block as standard?
Anyway I guess you have a rule that says something like if doc type is "KR" then add a payment block. What you need to do now if you know ALL of your doc types is say, if the doc type is "KR" and the tcode is "MIRO, FB60" then add payment block.
That way when you go to change the payment block in FB02 you can save it correctly.
Please assign points if this is useful.

UWL Substitution rules : Problems reported (repairable)

I have a poblem with the substitution rules within the EP7.0 (our backend system is ECC6.0).
I have created a substitution rule and have set it active.
When I have a look later on to the management of substitution rules, i always get an error message: "Problems reported (repairable)" --> "Substitution rule is not defined in the system" (System: SAP_ECC_UWL --> this is our system alias for uwl in the EP). When I push "retry" the substitution rule is succesfully registered again.
But the next time when I have a look onto it, i get the same error message.
I checked out the substitution rule, it worked (that means the substitute see the work items in his uwl), but why there is this strange error message ???

I got a similar error:
- Whenever I create a substitution rule, activate it and press then "Refresh", I get two substition rules (for two different users).
This is highly strange. Does anyone have any hints how to avoid to get these two rules?

Doubt about Substitution Rules

Hello gurus!
We have a doubt about Management Substitution Rules. We fully understand all the benefits of this feature and tried to communicate to all our personnel to make it work properly, but as we have a big staff and not everybody have the same "skills" understanding technology, we eant to have a different approach to this: we want to develop a "user friendly" interface, as a single acreen where we can emulate all the features of Substitution Rules, but we want to know if there is a control program or a Function that controls this, and the understand it fully to achieve this. Anybody knows if this is possible?

Hi,
If you use UWL only with one backend system, you can easily build your own application for example with web dynpro ABAP. Just use the function modules SAP_WAPI_SUBSTITUTE* to do the different operations (creating, deleting substitutions, etc.).
If you have multiple backend systems, it is a bit more complicated. You could build your own (Java WD) application by using the Substitution API. Check the docs at: http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04S/SPS09/uw/com/sap/netweaver/bc/uwl/IUWLSubstitutionManager.html

System does not support substitution methods in UWL

Hello Experts,
I am getting "System does not support substitution methods" error message while creating UWL substitution rule in EP7.0.When I check the detailed error message this message is shown for only some systems and remianing systems success message is displayed.
What could be the reason for this issue.
Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Hi, we had the issue following application of SP11->SP18 (NW7.0);
The application of 'SAP Note 1133821 - UWL Destination Service configuration' resolved this in our case.
