No TAXINN & TAXINJ procedures found in IDES

Dear Gurus ,
In my IDES , there is no TAXINN & TAXINJ procedure visible in the "change view procedure " Transaction
in Spro -> Financial Accounting ( new) -> Basic Settings -> Define Procedures
What should I do to incorporate these 2 procedures related to taxes in India ?
Will I need to maintain all these conditions manually which are normally seen
in other systems & create new procedure myself ? are there any more associations
to be made alongwith these procedures anywhere else also in spro ?
Please Guide. Thanks in Advance.

IDES is for study purpose
so in IDES you wont find country india version
to get TAXINJ and TAXINN processes you need the country india version component to be installed on the system

Hi Gurus,
I am configuring CIN in my IDES client. I have activated CIN easy access screen by adding SAP_CIN in user parameters. Started confiuring CIN in IMG. I am at the stage of assigning Tax calculation procedure to country.
Logistics general->Tax on goods movement->India-> Basic settings->Determination of Excise duty->select tax calculation procedure.
here, I am unable to find TAXINN & TAXINJ in the list for tax procedures.
Can any one please help in this issue.

thanks for ur immediate reply.
I have checked both the Transactions as u mentioned.
for OBBG, in the list of procedures, I cannot find these procedures.
for OBYZ, I have to create a new Tax procedures. all the procedures which are available here, are displayed in OBBG.
In OBYZ, A copy of TAXINN has to created. But, since there is no TAXINN avaialable, how can i create new one.
Is there any transaction to activate these tax procedures?
I am using 4.7 version.

Not able to find TAXINN, TAXINJ in T684

I want to use CIN.
So I am not able to assign TAXINN & TAXINJ to India, in the the path FINANCIAL ACOUNTING(NEW)>FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING GLOBAL SETTINGS>TAXE ON SALES AND PURCHASES>ASSIGN COUNTRY TO CALCULATION PROCEDURE.
TAXINN and TAXINJ is not availalbe table T684.
Please suggest what I have to do for this to appear in T684.

When we press F4 in the path FINANCIAL ACOUNTING(NEW)>FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING GLOBAL SETTINGS>TAXE ON SALES AND PURCHASES>ASSIGN COUNTRY TO CALCULATION PROCEDURE, all the records for which application=TX in Table T63 will be displayed.
As TAXINN or TAXINJ with application = TX is not available in T683, I am not able to get this when I press F4.
I am using ECC6.0 IDES.
Is there any other ways to get TAXINN or TAXING in T683? .... This is my question.

If you are using TAXINN procedure you have to maintain separate condition record in tcode :FV11
JM01
JM02 etc
While creating purchase order the tax will be flowing based on the condition record
For all the vendor the same taxes are applicable.
currently TAXINN is commonly used
TAXINJ
In this procedure you have to maintain taxcode in FTXP.
while creating P.O taxes will be flowing from the Taxcode.
Say for Example
V1-16 %Excise duty+4%VAT +Cess
V2-8 %Excise Duty 4% VATCess
For the same vendor you can use either the taxcode V1 (or) V2

That second one sounds like malware.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />

Additional information:
-also ran "Repair" with new download of iTunes
-am using the same spindle of CDs that worked perfectly a month ago. Tried another brand also to be safe. None worked.
-ran CD/DVD diagnostics within iTunes with Apple Care - no issues apparent
-also tried write-speed 20X on advice of Apple Care (don't know why they thought 20X would be the magic number after the other 3 I tried didn't work)
-tried running itunes in another user account on the computer - same problem, same error code
-Apple suggested it was a copyright issue. I can't even burn music that I created/recorded myself, so that doesn't make sense.
-They thought maybe Quicktime wasn't installed properly, so we checked a film in Windows Media - it played, meaning Quicktime was fine apparently.
Solution:
Unclicked CD text option & Sound Check, ran burn from the File drop down menu (max speed) on a Philips CD-R and it worked! Had been right clicking the playlist name and selecting Burn option from there. That being said, it did not work on 2 other brands prior, with same settings. Not sure why. Just happy it's working again. Is it a brand issue?

TAXINJ Procedure (Conditon types need to be created)

Hi Experts,
Can anybody explain in detail about TAXINJ Tax procedure.
What are all the Condition types needs to be created to adopt in TAXINJ procedure for India.
So that I can enter Exicse duties ( Basic, Additional, education cess, higher education cess & VAT etc)

Please look in the TAXINJ procedure where you will fidn the condition types for your taxes.
Miantain the selected condition types in
Logistics - General>Tax on Goods Movements>India>Basic Settings>Determination of Excise Duty-->Maintain Excise Defaults.
Maintain the GL accounts in
Logistics - General>Tax on Goods Movements>India>Account Determination>Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction
(most important transaction)
Create Tax Code in FTXP Tx and give the set off's.
Reward if useful.

Can you please let me know based on the inputs you took, upto what stage you tried and where you stuck ?? The simple logic is that system will calculate CST or LST based on the regions of delivery plant and ship to party.

TAXINJ procedure

Hi,
We are using TAXINJ Procedure.
Maintained for Country India.
Tax codes also properly maintained.
Tax is properly getting calculated in PO and Invoice Receipt.
We are creating a Purchase report.
When we execute a Function module CALCULATE_TAX_ITEM
we get an error
"Tax code C0 country IN does not exist in procedure TAXINJ"
We get this error for all tax codes inspite of maintaining all the
tax settings properly.
Kindly guide me regarding this issue.

Difference between base type 362 & 363 in taxinj procedure

Currently, we are using base type 362 for base amount BASB in TAXINJ procedure, but in frieght condition type FRB1 tax is not properly getting calculated. If we change the base type to 363, then tax is getting calculated correctly. Can anyone suggest what will be the other impact if we change base type from 362 to 363 for base amount BASB in TAXINJ procedure.

Hi,
363 is used for all sales tax {VAT (Inv or set -off) & CST} and 362 is used for to pick base value to BASB condition type from MM pricing procedure.
Check frieght condition type FRB1 and the frieght value related not added to NET value in PO.

Modification in TAXINJ procedure

Dear all,
We are in the process of upgrading our SAP 4.7 to SAP 6.0 EHP7. In our existing SAP 4.7,we are using TAXINJ Tax procedure,
We have already upgraded our DEV server to SAP 6.0 EHP7, After upgrading to SAP 6.0 EHP7 in DEV server, we got issues in SD Module in Tax Calculations,
We want to continue with corrections in TAXINJ procedure in DEV server, then we will go ahead with the same in PRD server.
(removal of jurisdiction codes based tax calculations which was suggested by SAP)
Please advise a solution for the above issue.If anyone has worked on the similar upgrades what are the issues faced.

With the above comments, it is highly impossible to propose a solution. It would be better if you can explain what exactly system was giving issue and what SAP has suggested. May be it would be helpful to all if you copy paste here SAP's comments.

Hi,
Taxinj - Supports Both formula based and condition based,
Taxinn - Supports only formula based.If you use TAXINN condition based , every thing works on Condition Techniques, You have more flexibility.
Before CIN version 4.0 Only TAXINJ is used. TAXINN cannot be supported in old versions.
SAP recommends TAXINN condition based procedure, as it is more flexible for any kind of changes, When a new tax is introduced, just create new condition type and incorporate the same in TAXprocedure , maintain condition record for new tax condition type.
Only Two taxcodes are sufficient for TAXINN
If we use TAXINJ, so many tax codes are required for each kind of combination
