No text in itunes when devise is selected
This is what my iTunes looks like. This is the latest version available (download yesterday, 8/1/2012). Any suggestions on why I don't have any text on this page?
That's consistent with trouble with the Segoe UI fonts on your system.

Sync Play count between iPod & iTunes when manually update selected
Hello,
I use manual updating on iTunes simply because I have so much music, it wont fit onto my iPod, so I manually select the songs I want on.
I have been reading and find that doing this stops the iPod and iTunes from updating the Play count and Last played. Doesnt this sound a bit daft?
People have played suggestions such as creating certain playlists that are automatically synced with the iPod, but my songs are all in playlists.
Is there any addon or way that you can get the iPod and iTunes to automatically sync that part so it updates? Without turning on automatic syncing?
ThanksPlaycounts only sync if you are syncing. They don't if you're manually managing your music. Sorry.

In iTunes, when I select the "Device" and then select "My iPod" there in no text
In iTunes, when I select the "Device" and then select "My iPod", there is no text in the main screen......only the text "iPod", "Version" and "Options" appear with a picture on an iPod on the top of the screen?
I uninstalled iTunes and installed the version (10-5.3???) for my 64bit computer but no luck. I can transfer songs from cd's and the itunes store easily enough but I just got this thing yesterday and I want to get the full experience and not half of it. I feel like I'm missing something and i'm about ready to take a hammer to it.

iTunes 10.1 Missing Text -
So I keep trying to sync music to my iPhone from iTunes, and whenever I select the album the sync goes by really fast and nothing goes onto my phone. Then when I click "On this iPhone" it shows the songs, but they're grey, and I can't click on them. Help?
Ok, sorry. And yes, I just restored my iPhone as new and tried to put all the songs on there before I even restored with my previous backup, but it still does the same thing... even when I just checked the option to sync only "selected music or videos". How's that possible?
P.S. After I tried syncing with checked songs only, nothing showed up under Music on my phone and this message popped up in iTunes: "The iPhone "..." could not be synced because the sync session failed to finish." If you could, please tell me what that means, thanks. -
When I convert my pdf doc to word, the fonts go really weird and it also puts some text into boxes. when I try to select the text and change the font, it does not change it properly? This is making it impossible to amend.

If the PDF that you converted already has searchable text, please try disabling OCR as described in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (OCR) when converting PDF to Word or Excel. (If the PDF was created from a scanned document and doesn't already have searchable text, disabling OCR isn't a great option, as the text won't be searchable/editable in the converted Word doc.)

I Just received the update to iTunes, when I I look at the screen I do not see the normal icons. When I select movies I do not get the new downloads unless I select the list in the sub file. How do I get back to the old method of seeing and using iTunes??
I can tell you that this is some of the absolutely worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I found out from a store employee that when they are really busy with calls, they have third party companies taking overflow calls. One of those companies is Xerox. What can a Xerox call center rep possibly be able to authorize on a Verizon account? I'm Sure there is a ton of misinformation out there due to this. They don't note the accounts properly or so everyone can see them. I have been transferred before and have asked if they work for Verizon or a third party also and was refused an answer so, apparently they aren't required to disclose that information. I spent a long time in the store on my last visit and it's not just customers that get the runaround. It happens to the store employees as well and it's beyond frustrating.

Where is the total tracks and size information in itunes when I select multiple items?
In older versions of iTunes, when I was creating a playlist for burning to a cd, I was able to see the number of tracks selected and the total size. Is this information still available somewhere?

Yes, it is in the Status Bar at the bottom of the playlist or library. It shows song count, time, and total file size.
If you do not see the Status Bar, enable it by using the command View > Show Status Bar, or the shortcut CTRL+/. -

Can't select "Open iTunes when this iPhone is connected" in iTunes.

Yes,.. Open iTunes-Preferences-Devices- then uncheck "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically". select OK. Done!

hi, I was about to reset my iphone3g when I accidentally selected erase all contents and setting. It was stucked with the iphone logo, so i tried to fix it by restoring all my datas in iTunes. I was able to successfully fix it but when I inserted my sim card it says that simcard not recognized. I tried all the solutions in the net but nothing seemed to work. What should I do? I know. I was with my brother when we did this. He didnt clearly understood the question that poped-up. Regarding the simcard, after successfully restoring it on itunes my simcard won't work. I'm not able to send and receive calls and messages.
