Homeshare option not showing up in iTunes bar

I just learned how to be homesharing to get my music from my old computer onto my new laptop. However, while the music and movies were loading on my new computer, someone accidentally closed the other computer that had all the old music that I was homesharing with. Now, I can't get the homesharing option at all. I've turned on and off homesharing and tried using my brother's ID instead of mine. However, the homesharing tab doesn't even appear in the iTunes bar on the top left. Am I doing something incorrectly? How can I access the other computer's library again through my new computer? I know the basics of homesharing, but I don't even know how to access it anymore. I've restarted my computer and the other computer, logged on and off of my wifi, refreshed iTunes, etc.
(On the other computer my new computer's tab shows up, but it won't load. But the homeshare tab is in the iTunes bar in the old computer)

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?

Set text of status bar problem

I'm trying to hide the url in the status bar of the links in
a graphic where I have a mapping situation. I click on the map box
and select the set text of status bar behavior but it will not work
while the mouse is over the mapped area. When I move my mouse over
the mapped area it displays the url and when I move away from it it
displays the text that I want to have when I mouse over. Any help
is greatly appreciated. I've including the code below.

Why do you want that? The status bar is part of the browser's
GUI and of
absolutely no interest for the website author. Additionally
recent
browsers will prevent scripts from manipulating it, so you
should think
about it again.

You want to use the 'title' attribute to show additional text
on mouse-
over.

Why is the text on itunes squashed and compacted?

For some reason, all of the text on itunes is very small and overlap each other. Not sure why this happens but it is very annoying and blocks some of the features. The picture is an example of what I mean.

Another example from the Stairlifts.html page where <b><font><u>....<font><u></b> appears and even if corrected wouldn't be closed in the correct order.

I accidentally closed the Pages text formatting menu bar.

I accidentally closed the text formatting menu bar that comes up when select text to change font size, style, etc. I cannot find out how to restore it so that it automatically opens when I select text.

It isn't gone, just minimized. The top of the screen should have a thick dark brown bar with "Documents", "Undo", etc. Under that should be a thinner lighter brown bar. Touch that thinner bar and the formatting bar should reappear.

Adobe Reader display page and text in tool bar and options too large. How can this be reduced?

My Adobe Reader (ver. XI) page for viewing and manipulating docs and the text in tool bar and menus is too large and I cannot reduce its size. I cannot add but a few functions on the tool bar without them reverting to the drop down. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe XI and that has not helped. Do not have this problem with other software so I know its not the resolution settings of computer.
Any way to reduce the size of the "viewing page" and its text? I can change the size of the doc I am viewing but not the items of the page that displays the doc.

I use an old iTunes. Check if there is something in iTunes preferences, but I doubt there is. You may have to simply use something such as Universal Access preferences to zoom your whole screen. I do recall coming across a reference for a hack to edit iTunes fonts in the application itself but if you enlarge the font as opposed to simply tweaking it slightly with a very similar one you are likely to really mess up iTunes display since the rest of the application won't have been designed with scaled up fonts in mind.
I can also personally recommend reading glasses.

Sounds like a hardware problem. When you updated, that would have wiped the device and installed the latest iOS, thus pretty much eliminating a software issue. You could try to restore as new, i.e. without your backup and see if it works factory fresh. If still a problem, it's most likely a hardware issue.

I sync with outlook'07, the itunes bar does something but it never works!

I've posted something a little similar to this in the music forum but talked more about my ringtones, so thought it'd be better to stick this one in here...
I exported all my contacts onto my computer from my old k800i, then imported them into contacts on outlook.
Then I synced my iphone to outlook through itunes and it appears to be doing something on the itunes bar only for me to open my phone when it's done and the contact list is empty.
It's synced the calender and itunes music though.

well shame on me ! i did as you suggested and downloaded the new extension, restarted and found the extension in tools, along with my old extensions for increasing/decreasing the page size etc..... I have more than I need now :)

This is what my iTunes looks like. This is the latest version available (download yesterday, 8/1/2012). Any suggestions on why I don't have any text on this page?

That's consistent with trouble with the Segoe UI fonts on your system.

It seems like an innocuous problem but I don't know why it is happening. One thing I would say is that when I load iTunes up, everything is fine, but then this problem kicks in randomly. I can still navigate the scroll arrows (even though they're not showing) and make out the text in the search bar but it isn't fully showing. :/

Is 8 gbs not enough to copy 2000 frames ?
I have 7.5 gbs free, so every frame should be at least 3.75 mbs to not to fit in RAM
Also i tried to do as you say, Flash really CAN copy 700 frames, but when i put all the 2000 frames to a symbol, Flash can't put this symbol in the workplace (

Unsharp text in menu bar and other various places

After upgrading to Yosemite the text and icons of the menu bar is pretty unsharp.
Other text such as on websites and filenames remain sharp. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?
Any way to solve this?
I'm on a 27" late 2009 iMac.

The menu bars and filenames have been replaced by the letter "A" surrounded by boxes, over and over!
Perform an Archive & Install of Mac OS X, preserving user and network data, and then reinstall all needed software and updates.
