No trace of songs on my HD, and no cloud download available

I bought some songs (ages ago it seems) and noticed that they were not to be found anywhere on my hard drive, however, iTunes notes that the album is "purchased" when I look at the album on the iTunes store. I tried going through Quick Links>Purchased but there is no iCloud icon on the album, and it does not appear in the "Not in my library" category. As well, when I search for the albm in my library, the little pop-up from the search field says the album is there, but with no cover art, and when I click the album, it brings me to the content that's currently playing. Any idea what's up?

iTunes prefs > Store.
Tick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
All purchases should show in your library. If there is a cloud symbol next to it, click the cloud to download it (or press Play to stream without downloading).

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

Why itunes is duplicate songs i already bought and make me download it again?

Last week i found that all the songs i bought on the iTunes Store are duplicated.
One downloaded and another waiting to download (with the icloud icon)

In Itunes on your computer, I suggest going to preferences> store and uncheck show iCloud purchases in the cloud.
I think there is a bug in iTunes. Even if track has been downloaded, it is also showing the version in the cloud. Not supposed to work this way? I believe the one with download icon should only be shown if the track is not physically in your iTunes library.

HT1848 I can see the songs that I purchased and it says downloaded but the songs can't be located on ITunes on my desktop.

My hard drive crashed and I moved my I Tunes library back from Carbonite but there are songs / albums that are missing! Lots of Exclamation points!
Anyway, I can see the songs and albums on my purchased list in the ITunes store page. They all say they are "downloaded" but ITunes on my computer can't find the songs.
I looked on my hard drive and the are not on the hard drive. How can I Re-Download to put these purchased songs back on my new hard drive? The songs are on my I Phone but I don't want to sync since it will strip them out of my phone too.

Try authorizing the computer. Launch iTunes. From the iTunes menu bar click Store > Authorize This Computer

I recently got a new laptop and i havent downloaded new music for many months off iTunes and i have always used my aunts laptop. I setup up an my itunes sccount but it only showed downloaded music from over two years ago. How to fix it?

I recentl bought a new laptop and setup my itunes and couldnt remember my account informaion. I got logged in but only 60 of my 750 songs were on there and they were downloaded over 2 years ago on my aunts laptop and that is the only place i have ever downloaded from my itunes. I would like to get new songs but im worried to sync it because it ssays all my music will be removed. Is it possible i have my ipod connected to two accounts? If not can anyone explain what has happend or help me out of this pickle?

I have installed Oracle 12.1.0.1 for Windows 64. Database and EM Express work. Next step i tried to install the EM Cloud Control 12.1.0.1, but there are errors during the installation process concerning the repository. Does EM 12.1.0.1 not support Oracle Database 12.1.0.1?
Can i use EM 12.1.0.3 with Database 12.1.0.1 instead? Which combination works for Windows?
Is a VM including 12c database and EM Cloud Control available for download?

Before installing anything in the future first check if the combination is certified (MOS, tab Certifications), as noted in the basic installation guide chapter 6.
The 12.0.1.3 repository database can be one of these 6 Releases(11.2.0.4.0,11.2.0.3.0,11.2.0.2.0,11.2.0.1.0,11.1.0.7.0,10.2.0.5.0

To transfer your data and settings to a new device see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2109. You can also use an app like My Contacts Backup to back up the contacts on your phone as attachment to an email that you send to yourself. If you need to, you can later open this email on your new phone and tap the attachment to import your contacts.

I purchased 3 songs on itunes today, i watched them download, and i watched it take my money, but now i can't find them amoungst the "purchases". So basically it looks like itunes stole my money?

nevermind guys, i figured out what to do. for anybody else with this issue, try going to "store" (in the top bar on itunes), then "view my account", and then it should tell you if you have any items availible for download. then you can download them there, and get the things you paid for. This was a really annoying issue though, because it made it look like itunes had stolen my money, and almost tricked me into wasting my money trying to re-purchase the songs. itunes should look in to this.

In previous versions of i Tunes you could highlight a song in your library and there would be a genious list on the right side of the screen showing songs like the one highlighted in the library. Now I do not get that list. Is there a way to get this back

You don't need to upgrade your software. But if you're struggling with Spry, IMO you should cut your losses and switch to something better for the longrun.
If you have a budget to work with, I highly recommend Project Seven's Pop-Menu Magic 3. It's easy to use in DW CS4, 5, 6 or CC. More importantly, it's bullet proof and works in all devices.

How to sort songs by Album artist and song number?

System: +OS X 10.5 updated to 10.5.2 . iTunes 7.6+
I have a CD "+Cafe Del Mar - Volume 01+". Added songs to Library. Every track has different Artist. So, I have 12 songs with individual Name and Artist. Then have put value "+Volume 01+" as Album in File Info and Album Artist as "+Cafe Del Mar+". This way songs are automatically grouped together whenever I sort my library by Album or Album Artist.
Unfortunately in latter case (sorting by Album Artist) iTunes uses Artist field instead of Song Number within the Album to sort tracks. Here are links to screenshots I made to show what we are talking about here:

iTunes 7 thinks of an album by a performer (call the performer XYZ), where one or more tracks are by "XYZ featuring ABC" or "XYZ and ABC," as separate albums. In iTunes, try signing out of your Apple ID & then back in: click on iTunes Store on the left sidebar of iTunes, click on your Apple ID on the top right, sign out, sign back in. Then try to sync your purchased music to your phone again.

I have a couple of steps for you to try in order to get those songs transferred to your iPod touch. First, make sure all of your software is updated with the latest versions. If the songs were downloaded from iTunes, you will also want to delete the songs from your library and then download them again from the list of past purchases on your iTunes account. If you try a sync after those two steps and are still seeing the issue, then I would like you to try syncing the iPod by setting it to manually manage. An article outlining more information on manually managing your iPod sync can be found here:

If they were songs you purchased from itunes, try redownloading them from your purchases...
if that doednt work, make sure the optuon to copy files to itunes media folder is checked in settings, then find and download from the net. and re-add them to your library
