No transfer is in progress

I have 2 usb devices in my system-one is 9172 DAQ module and other one is XDS510 USB JTAG emulator. I can get them both to work independantly. Some times DAQ throws error "No transfer is in progress because the transfer was aborted by the client". The operation could not be completed as specified. Reset command from MAX would not work out this case. Only way to recover from this issue is reset max manually. I am using LabVIEW 8.6 and OS is Windows XP.
Any help on this situation would be great.

Transfer Book in progress from one Mac to another

I've been working on a book in iPhoto 6 on a 12" PowerBook while I have been traveling. Now I'd like to transfer the work I've done to my iMac in order to see the pictures on a larger screen. I'd really prefer to only transfer the book layout and accompanying photos, both original and edited, rather than transfer my whole iPhoto Library since all the data will get mixed up. How do I do this?

1 - Select the current iPhoto Library folder and type Command-D. When the duplication is completed rename that folder "Book Library".
2 - the duplicate library will be in your Pictures folder.
3 - Now you can either use iPLM or iPB to open the new library or just launch iPhoto with the Option key depressed and, when asked, locate and select the "Book Library" folder.
4 - you cannot import the book into the other library. You can only import albums, rolls, individual photos and slideshows.
5 - As long as you've renamed them to easily identify them keep them in the Pictures folder along with the main iPhoto library. It makes it easier to switch between libraries if you use the launch + Option key method. I use iPLM by only having that application in the Dock instead of iPhoto. iPLM launches and you make your choice of which library to open from the list in iPLM. Much easier and quicker than the launch+Option key method.
You won't mess up your master library as you're not doing anything to it.
But here's a recommendation to apply to any library:
For insurance against the occasional iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend that you make a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get you your library back. With that in mind by keeping it current I mean backup after each import and after any serious editing or creating that you might do in the library like making books, slideshows, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

Labview Error 10608 occurred at an unidentified location. No transfer is in progress for the specified resource

You are using NI data acquisition functions with a non-NI board. That won't work. You need to get a LabVIEW driver from measurment computing and use those functions.

I often get transfer errors -10608 and -10803 when doing double buffered analog output. How can I fix this?

I'm using the PCI 6711 board programmed in Visual Basic. I'm working from the WFMDoubleBuf example file for VB and I've modified it for continuous output on 2 analog channels. I fill the buffers with customized waveforms from files I have previously created. I often get -10608 (noTransferInProgError, No transfer is in progress for the specified resource) and -10803 (transferStoppedError , The on-going transfer has been stopped. This is to prevent regeneration for output operations, or to reallocate resources for input operations) errors when I try to output at higher rates (about 140000samples per second and up). The -10608 error generally happens after seve
ral (sometimes hundreds) of half buffers have been transfered, whereas the -10803 error usually occurs immediately after starting output. This device is supposed to be able to output at up to 1Msample per sec per channel but I don't seem to be able to do that. I have tried increasing the buffersize (up to 16777216) with no apparent effect. Is there any other information as to what causes these errors or how they can be avoided. Any ideas?

No Progress Bar during file transfering

Hey everyone,
I'm using MAc 10.5.8 and when I transfer data, the progress bar is not appearing anymore. Is there any way that i might have accidentally deleted files for that by using CleanMyMac and if so is there any way to get the progress bar back?

GTA:V Character transfer

Does anybody know whether it is possible to transfer a GTA V character from an Xbox One console onto a PS4 console? I know that it was possible to go from Xbox 360 to PS4 (or PS3 to Xbox One) but appreciate that this transfer was from previous Gen to current Gen consoles...so therefore don't know if the cross platform transfer would still be possible between two current generation consoles.
If anybody has had any experience with this, or knows of anybody that has done (or not being able to do) this in the past then that would be greatly appreciated!

My ipod touch won't load my apps, they open then shut back down, it hasn't been updated in a while but if I update it will i lose all my game progress ?

My ipod touch is trying to open apps but they fail to load, I have played the games religiously before so they did previously work, again I have a lot of games which I do not want to lose, if I updated my iopd would I lose this progress ?
Also can I transfer games and progress from the ipod touch to my iphone 3G ( I do not remember my old apple ID for the the ipod

Yes. Transfer these Apps to your iTunes library by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases and then sync them to the new iPod or simply download these same applications on your new iPod when it arrives.
If you want to retain app data as well, you'll want to backup the old iPod and restore the new iPod from that same backup. See this article for more assistance.

I want to using Solaris 11 too, but i can't install it. My computer is form MEDION company, model: B818/3. After 99% of GUI installation my computer told me that he can't finish.

This is a bug - thanks for pointing it out to us.
It should accept the Real Name value "Jarosław" or at least
stop you from proceeding if it cannot be used.
I will investigate further and hopefully get this fixed.

Transferring to new iMac via time machine - how to use Ethernet?

Hi, I am setting up a new iMac and transferring my files from my MacBook (2007) using time machine. I started the transfer wirelessly (foolishly) but it predicted it would take 36 hours. With the transfer still happening I have now attached an Ethernet cable but the countdown is the same, presumably because the wireless transfer is still taking priority.
Is it risky to abandon the transfer midway through? If not, once I have stopped it, how do I ensure the ethernet takes priority, considering that I am still at the very early stages of iMac setup (so have not gone through to the normal home screen etc)?
Another issue is that the screen seems to sleep every 30 mins, so I am not sure the wireless transfer will keep progressing overnight...?

This Adobe page provides an app (LicenseRecovery 11.6.1), supposedly designed to reinstate a licensing issue. When I opened the file, and tried to open the app that's suggested on this page, the program hung. I assumed the app hadn't been updated for Mountain Lion.
Wouldthis app address the issue if it had worked?

For obtaining profit center wise receivables/payablees and stock reports, you may need to follow these steps at every period end.
1. Execute F.5D - Calculate Balance sheet adjustment
2. Execute 1KEK - Transfer Payables/Receivables
3. Execute 1KEI - Transfer Assets
4. Execute 1KEH - Transfer material stocks
5. Execute 1KEJ - Transfer Work in progress

WARNING: The Reader device should never be ejected under the following conditions or permanent damage to the Reader device may occur:
NOTES:
A data transfer is in progress
Your computer is accessing the Reader device or compatible memory card inserted in the Reader device.
A file in the Reader device or a compatible memory card in the Reader device is open.
If you are not transferring any data and would like to disconnect your Reader device, click the eject button in the Reader (eBook) Library software. The message on your Reader device will now be USB connected and you can safely remove the connection or continue to charge.
NOTE: If you have already closed the Reader Library software, you can use the Safely Remove Hardware feature of the Windows® operating system to disconnect your Reader device from the computer.

ITunes unresponsive today

In preparation for the IOS7 upgrade later today, I want to backup my iPhone and iPad, transfer any purchases, and remove any unused apps. However, for both devices, when I click "Transfer purchases", the progress bar hangs when it starts transferring the first app. The only recovery is to use TaskManager to end the iTunes task. Also, when I click on the Apps tab to view the installed Apps, it takes several minutes to display the Apps scroll list, and when I scroll down the list, iTunes hangs after displaying the first 8-10 Apps, and then becomes responsive 30-60 seconds later. Other activities seem to be working. For example, the device syncs prpoerly when I plug it in, and a manual backup completes successfully. I have IOS 6.1.3 installed on both devices.
This is not normal behavior. Any ideas?

I am still having trouble with the "Transfer Purchases" functionality of iTunes. This morning, when I set out to install the recent iOS7 patch, I was prompted to transfer my purchases. iTunes started the transfer process, displayed the message that it was transferring the first app, and then became unresponsive. Wintows Task Manager says iTunes is Not Responding. This happens both with my iPad2 and my iPhone4.
Advice?

hi,
i'm using windows 3.11 with labview 4 on a lab-pc+ card. i've been using the example ContAcq&Chart vi, but modded to log the data to a text file to acquire data from 2 channels. it had been working fine, but this morning i had to change the card configuration from unipolar to bipolar. it all checks out in the configuration utility, passing the tests etc.
but when i run the actual vi it come back with the following error:
Error-10608 ocurred at AI singlescan
NI-DAQ: LV no transfer is in progress for specified resources.
i'm sure it's a competing acquisition problem, as running the vi for either channel 1 or 2, is o.k, but together i get the error.
nothing else is running or attempting to access the channels (config test/utility etc)
baffled why it's suddenly stopped working?

Please can you tell me what version of NI-DAQ you are using so I can try to replicate you system as closely as possible.
I have a copy of LabVIEW 4.1 that I can use, this is the earliest version I can get a hold of, so when I have your DAQ version I can install that try your code.
