No User Results for my Quiz Analyzer Captivate 6

Hi,
I have a Problem with getting the results of my Adobe Catipvate 6 Quiz. Just made a quiz an published it by Acrobat.com. The Student download and finished the Quiz and wanted to sent the Quiz Results to Acrobat.com.
He must put in his Email-Adress/Adobe ID and his password. After he clicks the publish button, there dissapears: Acrobat.com Failure, even when he has an Acrobat.com Account.
Can somebody help me to get the results of my students in the Quiz Analyzer tool?

we already tried different Accounts and the students also acknowledged the Acrobat.com E-mail that there are different Information for them on Acrobat.com. They also have created an
Adobe ID before.
Hope you have another Idea.
Our main issue is to get the results of the survey of the students, that we can analyze them. The problem is we need the information what especially was the answer of
any single student so for example Student7 answered Question 2 with Answer B. There is no right or wrong in our survey.
Another Question would be, if we cannot fix that problem: Is there are an opportunity to get the results local for a survey or can we sent the quiz data in swf and html to the students, they
finish the survey and send us the data back? How we can get the results after that in our Quiz Analyzer Tool?
Maybe you have for that problem an idea?

Results for quiz question

Is there any way for the results to show on a quiz page
without using the results screen?
Background: I am creating a WBT with several quizzes in it. I
am not showing the "results" page because we are truly not
"grading" them. These are more of "knowledge" checks throughout the
WBT. In addition, there is only one results page for the whole
WBT...even though there are 3-4 quizzes in the different sections
throughout...a bit confusing.
Is there any way to show the results (when the answer is
incorrect) on the page before continuing?

You can show the results of each individual question by using
one or more of the Incorrect, correct and incomplete hint captions.
You can turn these on or off and change the default text using the
Default Labels section of the Quiz Preferences dialog. You can also
edit them individually for each slide to tell them the correct
answer if the answer is false.
As for the results page, in a single captivate project you
cannot set up multiple quizzes in different sections. Captivate
treats quizzes in different sections as a single quiz and gives a
single results page after the last question. If you want multiple
quizzes with separate results in a single project, you can create
this illusion using a number of interconnected but separate
projects. If you don't want to grade your users you can just turn
off the results page using the Settings section of the Quiz
Preferences.
Hope this helps, I know the information I'm offering is basic
but it might answer your questions.

Adobe Captivate Quiz Analyzer not reporting

When I login to Captivate Quiz Analyzer the Course selection shows what appears to be a course code and the student name and I can not generate a report. Please see the screen shot attached. Any Help? Thank you!

What happens when you click on Generate Report ? I get the error "No

Is there a way in Captivate to set the reporting for a quiz so it saves/keeps the highest score

Is there a way in Captivate to set the reporting for a quiz so it saves/keeps the highest score despite how many attempts a user takes?

There is currently no built-in functionality to do this in Captivate.
If you are using an LMS, this sort of thing is normally handled there. For example in Moodle there is an option to use the highest score out of all attempts on a course.

Adobe Captivate Quiz Analyzer Question

Could you please kindly advise me....when I run the Adobe Captive Quiz Analyzer, I receive the message "No companies found in the current user account." I did, however, add the company name in the Captivate 8 "Configure Internal Server Settings" dialog. Is there something else that must be done? Is the company name perhaps restricted to one word? Thanks. The analyzer seems to recognize the local server, but does not see the company name.

Do the reporter and read php files have to be at the same level as the actual captivate file in the website?
I put the two files at the root directory level.

Quiz Analyzer Doesn't Pull in Results

I am using the Adobe servers with the quiz analyzer on a windows-based system. Often when I try to generate reports, it will pop up the window telling me there were new learners and asks if I want to download them. When I say yes, it thinks for a second but still displays the previous report that I had generated. It did it very sporadically at first and now I am often unable to generate more than one report per quiz analyzer session and have to restart the program to generate each additional report. Any help as to the cause or a solution to this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Download to disk did work despite the Quiz Analyzer itself not refreshing results.
I'm not sure what you were driving at with the added server location given that I was reporting to Acrobat.com but this did solve my issue. Although, it still is frustrating that the Quiz Analyzer Tool does not refresh its results and the only option that I have is to download to disk.

How can I allow the user to retake a quiz from the middle of it in Captivate 7?

Hello Captivaters,
I would like to force the learner to pass a quiz before he can continue on with the training. If he doesn't pass the quiz, he will need to go back and take it again. The "retake" button allows him to do this, but I will actually like to have 4-5 of these "quiz checkpoints" in the eLearning -- each separated with presentation material -- so that the user proves he understands the material before advancing.
Therefore I would like to create my own "retake" button at the end of every "quiz checkpoint" that takes the learner back to the first question of that checkpoint (not to the first question in the training). So far, I have been able to create a button that appears after he gets a certain amount correct to allow him to continue, and I want to create a button that appears that takes him back to the first question in the checkpoint if does not get the required amount correct and retake those questions. The first part is easy, but I also need to add the function or reassign some variable to allow the user to retake the quiz. I hope I am making sense.. Any help would be much appreciated!

Here is the issue now. I guess it's not a huge problem, it's just if I can't find a better way, what I need to do will take a lot of time.
Like I mentioned before, I created this "results" slide that on enter either shows a "congrats" button or a "retry" button, depending on whether or not the user passed the quiz. I have copied this slide and pasted it behind all of the other sub-quizzes in the training, but when I do that, of course the link between the buttons and the conditional advanced action break.
As you know, when you duplicate a slide, all of the names of the objects on that slide are "refreshed" and are replaced with new generic names because you are in fact creating new objects as well. This means that I need to rename all of the objects on that slide (even though its a duplicate) and then replace all of the "old names" in the advanced action with these new object names.. Is there a faster way to do that?

Content Search Web Part displaying wrong Results for anonymous Users.

I am getting Wrong results for my content search web part. The requirement is to show the News Description for the selected news item.
I have a catalog site which stores News like
News1
News2
News3
as Items. and i have connected this catalog in publishing site which is anonymous. In the publishing site created one page "News.aspx"added search results webpart which shows all the news item. Added one page "Description.aspx" to show
description to show the selected news item.
When ever user selects any news from news.aspx page it will redirected to description.aspx with the selected item ID
The "Description.aspx" the search results page gets the data based on the URL by QueryString parameter as shown below
The problem is, if i multiple items to open in tabs all the items are showing the data same as the first selected item, though the article ID is different.

VBA inserting form fields, different positions result for different users.

I'm certianly at a loss for wrapping my head around this.
Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard (v 9.5.4)
Excel 2010 (VBA)
The problem: When I create the PDF document from Excel, I search for a string of text in order to capture the Quads for the containing rectangle. Then I use the quads to insert a control with numeric offsets. The problem that I am facing is that the offsets seem to be causing the controls to be in different locations for different users. For example, when I send (-26, -2, 100, 10) {x-offset, y-offset, width, height}; the control aligns exactly where I want it. But when another user user runs the exact same routine, or opens the PDF that I created, the fields are no longer positioned correctly.
Is there some setting that I am missing? EDIT, SOLVED: My Acrobat had a custom point to pixel setting. (Preferences > Page Display > Resolution)

Thanks for the reply, I did spend some time working on this issue... here is what I found...
1) First of all, I did have a custom Points to Inches setting in my Acrobat options... 110 vs 96.   Resetting this allowed for me to see the alignment issue that my colleagues were referencing first hand.
As it turned out, my results were better, but still had inconsistency among different workstations. Leading me to..
2) The MSFT creator uses the default printer in some way to create the PDF. Because the different workstations were using different printers, we were getting different results. If everyone used an HP 1320, nobody would see any difference upon creating / adding fields.
The final solution was to change the Application.Printer to a common network printer before the export operation, and return the Application.Printer to the user default after the export completed. This has provided us with a common ground to work upon; we are lucky to have a network printer that can be used for this purpose, as I can see this becoming non-viable in environments where this would be unavailable.

How can I change the language for the Quiz Results page?

How can I change the language for the Quiz Results (labels on buttons and text labels)? Is this possible only manually each time, or are general settings possible?

For Quiz Slides you've already added to your project file you will need to change the labels manually. If you change your Quiz Settings and Master Slides that control the defaults and then add new Quiz Slides, THEN those slides will carry your new settings.

Write fractions for a quiz question in Captivate 8

I'm creating a math quiz using Captivate 8 and I would like to write fractions in a Random Quiz Slide better than "3/4". I'm using Myriad Pro font and have the question and answer reporting to an LMS and an email reporting widget. I need fractions that are not presets like 1/2 or 2/3. I need 7/15th etc. Anyone know how to accomplish this?

Did you try MathMagic? It is included with Captivate, but the resulting formulas will be images.

Quiz Analyzer License?

On the Adobe site it states that you can run Quiz Analyzer on a machine that does not have Captivate installed - do I need a license to run Analzyer? Also it talks about running Adobe AIR which does seem to have a cost associated with it. I have one person with Captivate creating and publishing the learning modules and need two or three other people to be able to pull the results from our internal server. Does anyone have clear information on how this will work?

Quiz Results Analyser is an AIR app, so it requires that the user have the Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) installed on their PC before they can install and run the Quiz Results Analyser. To my knowledge there is no cost attached to either of these apps.

Posting results to adobe quiz analyser

I have since updated the adobe software on my pc and have also updated the course material within Captivate 7. Since doing this, I am unable to obtain any data from my local server using Adobe Captivate Quiz Analyser. I have all the detail that I need (both report and read php), folders I believe are set up correctly, however i am getting the following message continuously - can someone please help me ASAP? I have been working on this all week to make it work and even through a process of elimination, I am unable to ascertain with the problem is.

So I'm clear: you are trying to read the quiz results on the server using the Quiz Analyzer app and it is not retrieving them, correct?
If that is the case, then try making sure that the path you have entered in the Analyzer app is correctly pointed to the results php file. I can't remember off the top of my head whether it needs to be a complete path that includes the php file itself, or just the directory.
FWIW, I just set this up on a server a few weeks ago and it worked quite well for me. So it definitely works. I suspect the problem is likely pathing, either in your local app setting or on the server itself it changed.

How to enable "On Exit" property for a Quiz Question?

Maybe there is a better way of doing this, but I'm making a quick jeopardy game using Captivate 8, and I'm simply trying to get the board buttons/shapes to disappear after they have been clicked. I was using advanced actions where the first action would take you to the question and the second action would hide the shape that is acting as a button. Doing so I am finding that it works for the first one, and then only intermittently for the rest. Most of them will simply hide and do nothing, even though I've confirmed all advanced actions are correct and backward movement is possible.
So what I was trying to do was separate the actions. Have the actions on the board simply jump to the quiz slide and then let the quiz slide "on exit" simply hide the button as the user returns to the board. Then I notice the "On Exit" property for the quiz slide is not usable. How do I enable this?
By the way, I am not using the jeopardy interaction because I'm making a more custom looking board with some extra scoring features which are working well.
