No value found in Personnel Officer field

Hi All,
Even after creating Personnel Officer with APPL group In vacancy overview(T750X) I'm not able to store any value and getting error saying "Entry does not exist'
Please guide

If you are using select-options as input field and want to restrict to one value use the below syntax.
Ex:
DATA spfli_wa TYPE spfli.
SELECT-OPTIONS s_carrid FOR spfli_wa-carrid NO-EXTENSION NO INTERVALS.
If your using Parameter
PARAMETERS:s_carrid like spfli_wa-carrid NO-EXTENSION.

Implementation of F4 value help for a search field which is an EEWB field

Hi...
I am trying to create a F4 value help for a search field which is an eewb field.The f4 value help jus need to be a pop up containing the values of the field existing in the system.Since this is a search field the GET_V method cannot be used. I tried implementing it by creating a search help and then using it in the GET_DQUERY_VALUEHELPS method.But the problem when u use the search help is that all the values including the null values and duplicate entries will be populated when f4 is clicked.Is there any way to filter the values that get populated when f4 is clicked?If any other method can be used to implement the functionality please let me know..Thanks in advance....

the GET_V methods worked for me most of the time. Even in advanced searchs. Only time they do not is if there is a different aproach considered in the GET_DQUERY_VALUEHELPS.
As the GET_V_ you created obviously was called I suppose you found the correct place to Populate it to be used in the search.
I do not know what the problem with the NULL values and duplicate entries is you talked about, but it sounds to me the creation of your valuehelp class is flawed. Not the integration into the UI.
Maybe have a look at SAPs' standard implementations of Search Components. You should get a feeling for how search helps work. See. BT111S_OPPT, BP_HEAD_SEARCH

Update personnel allowance field in IT0210

Freiends,
I have below issue. your help is appreciated.
In IT0210 Personnel allowance field is not being populated correctly. For the states of AL, LA and Ga(Field: TAURT). To rectify this issue when IT0210 is being created or changed the personnel allowance field(PEREX) should be populated with a value of "1" or "2" based on the following filing staggers for each of the state shown below.
Georgia:
Single. 1
Married file sep. 1
Married2 income. 2. Married1 income 1. Head household 1
Married

If that is your req. and you are working through PA30 (no portal) you can achieve that easily using user exit EXIT_SAPFP50M_002 or the PA30 badis, I dont think there is a standar way for that.

DIP profile:"No values found" in the sales inquiry

Dear all.
I create an sales inquiry with one item.In the Sales B tab of item detail,I want to input DIP profile.But when I press f4 in the field of DIP profile,the sap show me a message "No values found".So I enter tcode ODP1 to maintain the DIP profile.There are 2 default DIP profile in the sap.I select the "BILLPLAN" and click Usage subtree and add one new line with Sales Doc. Type "IN".Then I go back to sales inquiry.
But the sap still show me a message "No values found" when I press f4 in the field of DIP profile.
So I need the experts give me some useful advice and reference to resolve the problem.

Can't pull Office field from search template driven employee directory in 365

I'm setting up a search driven employee directory. The issue is that the office field won't come in. The ManagedPropertyMapping tag includes "OfficeNumber" but for some reason the ctx.CurrentItem won't pull back that particular field. I can do a search
for "OfficeNumber: Vinings" for instance and it works correctly. I've spent hours trying to sort this out and I'm getting no where. Does anyone have any ideas?

$getItemValue(ctx,"Office").value should pull back the value according to your template. If you added the mapping yourself (as I don't recall if it's a default one or not) you have to create a new result type to hook up your custom display template

Head Office field

Good morning!
I´m facing problems regarding acconunt document creation. In the customer master 100100 I input another customer in head officer field, like 100101, and try to invoice against the 100100. As far as I understand, the account document should be created to 100101, but the system is creating to 100100.
What can I be possibly missing?

I hope, you have specified the Customer 100101 in the "Head office" field in the Company code data of the Customer master.
You must have also specified the PAYER in the Sales Area data > Partner Function tab for the Sold-to-party 100100.
I hope, the Payer in the Sales area data is the Sold-to-party himself (i.e. customer 100100).
Which Payer system will take (i.e, the Payer specified in the Sales Area data or Payer specified in the Company code data), depends on the value in the field "Branch/Head office" in the Billing document type.
Check your Billing document type (VOFA), suppose your Billing type is F2, then the Billing type F2 with t.code VOFA.
If the field "Branch/Head office" is blank , then system ignores the settings in the Company code data otherwise the Payer in the Company code data will always be preferred by the system.
Therefore, I think, in your case, in your Billing Type, the field "Branch/Head office" is probably blank.
That is why system is ignoring the Payer 100101 specified bu you in the Company code data and Payer from the Sales Area data > Partner Function tab (i.e, Payer 100100) is taken by the system.
So, in my view, do not leave the "Branch/Head office" field as Blank, put the value in this field in the Billing Type and I hope, your problem will be solved.

CL_SALV_TREE: How to read the value of a double-clicked field

I have build a list with CL_SALV_TREE. When the user makes a DOUBLE CLICK in a especially field of a line I want to call a transaction with the field's value.
Can you please tell me how exactly I can get the value of the double-clicked field?
Reacting on the double-click-event is no problem (thanks to the sap-sample-codes), but I just don't know how to find the item-value having node-key and columname.
I got this far:

You need to get the Node and node value of the selected column like this.

but i want to display it as 01 xxx,02 yyy, 03 zzz.

You can do this with "concatenate".
example:
In you code check where you final internal table is getting filled up before that do this concatenate and then append it.
data t_text type string.
t_text = textfield
CONCATENATE 'Xfield'
                 t_text
                  INTO wa_workarea SEPARATED BY space.

I am new to Siebel and installed Siebel 8.1.1.11 on RHEL 5.5 (64 bit). Everything is fine Siebel server and gateway server are up and running but i am unable to open login page.

I can connect to Siebel Server manager using command as : srvrmgr /g 192.168.0.163 /e Sieb81 /u SADMIN /p SADMIN
ODBC connectivity is also ok and i can connect as : ./odbcsql /source Sieb81_DSN /u SADMIN /p SADMIN
While installing Siebel i had left one step i .e.. creation of siebenv.sh using CreateSiebSrvrEnvScript because i got error when executed this script as :
Execution command : ./CreateSiebSrvrEnvScript /u01/siebel/ses/siebsrvr 192.168.0.163:2320 ENU Oracle
Error : cp: cannot copy a directory, '/u01/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/locale/' , into itself , '/u01/siebel/ses/siebersrvr/locale/C/locale'
Please suggest me what to do because if i want to configure again the same issue with CreateSiebSrvrEnvScript.

You can see all application objects are online and running. One more thing I have also checked ODBC is also working fine. I mean , user SADMIN can connect using ODBC.

Is there an easy way to filter a 2-d array based on the values of two of the fields?

Is there an easy way to filter a 2-d array based on the values of one of the fields. In my attached VI the output array has the following format:

I would like to delete any rows that do not have an "Ident" between the values of 3AD00000 and 3AD0001E. So for the above data the fourth row would be deleted. The only way I can see to do it is to form a 1-d array. Is there a better approach?

after you have sorted your data, you can use the InRange Function. Combined with a "search 1D Array" you'll get the range you really want.

for example, in the photo below, the song "The Bad Touch" is coming BEFORE the song "A Little Respect", this happens because of the Name field to Order ...
My "problem" is in the photo below, the "tab" Order, iTunes will not let me erase what is written in the "Sort As" ...
I've been "collecting" several songs over SEVERAL years
I'm currently with more than 1,500 songs on HD and several backups on DVDs and external hard drives and I think, download it again, will be a "little" laborious and boring
I DON'T WANT to be filling the tags of songs (name, singer, CD, year, etc.)
I have used the program Mp3tag to remove the music tags
I've tried to download the song again and go through Mp3tag program as if it were a new song
I've changed the music access permissions, folder and even entire hard drive (my Windows has only one user)
I've tried to catch the song again, from a previous backup
I've tried to create a copy of the file at iTunes own
I've tried to create a new music file in a music recording program
NOTHING of what I did above resolved

Sorry for my unprecise answer, but you talk about a tcode, but you're using a BAPI Call. Maybe you want to call the transaction in batch mode?

How do I get a new value for the service name field and update it in Connection Properties?

I am running Windows Vista. I just upgraded to Firefox 4. When I try to log on to the internet, it tells me the proxy server is refusing connections. A diagnostic reported Error 815 and said the remote server is not responding because there is an invalid value for the "Service Name" field. It said to get a new value and update it in Connection Properties. How do I do this?

When you create a new film script, the first page you see is a title page.

You can save this script to disk by using option 'File -> Save to disk'. This will create a '.stdoc' file on your system.

Thanks for the clarification.
But, as far, I have understood the query - it is very simple and that is..
Whenever one creates a Sales Order (T.Code: VA01), Parameter: Sales Office needs to be mandatory (for all Sales Order, irrespective of Customer Account).
Until-unless, user won't enter the parameter: Sales Office, System will not lead to next page (now, here we need to enter Customer/ material etc...).
I have answered the query, in this regards, only.
