I am trying to make a purchase online but the e-mail verification code never gets to my inbox, promotion, or spam folder in Gmail.

Without access to BestBuy.com, it can be quite a bit more frustrating for you to shop online.     I’ve found it usually works best with web mail via Adobe after obtaining verification. I know some email services block bulk email completely and I’ve only tested it with Gmail which works fine. Should also work with other web mail e.g. Yahoo and Hotmail. Give it a try. Before you start it will help to check your internet security settings. If they are set to High, reduce the settings to Medium temporarily. Then follow these instructions.
    1. Log in to your mail provider on the web and add the following email to your address/contacts book.
    [email protected]
    2. Open Organizer and on the menu click:
    Edit >> Preferences >> Sharing
    3. Choose Adobe Email Service from the client dropdown menu.
    4. Add your name and email address to the fields provided and click OK
    5. Test the system (first use only)  by selecting a photo in organizer and choosing Share >> Photo Mail then click Next (Mac users should use attachments)
    6. Choose a contact then click  Next
    7. Click Next Step, then click Next - the sender verification dialog will open.
    8. Check you have spelt your email address correctly and hit the Resend E-Mail button.
    9. Go to your inbox (also check spam) and when the Adobe mailer message is received copy (Ctrl+C) the long verification code.
    10. Return to the verification dialog and paste it (Ctrl+V) into the Sender verification field and click OK. Wait for validation confirmation then click OK to continue

  • Verification code for e-mail address

    I have changed e-mail address for the service Share picture using e-mail attachment in Photoshop Elements 11. This should be confirmed by Adobe sending me an e-mail  stating the verification code but no code received. What should I do? Without verification I cannot go on.

    I am trying to select Adobe e-mail service in the "preferences", but am not getting an email with verification code that allows me to continue.  Anyone else with this problem?  Probably need to contact Adobe directly, but so far not find that option.

  • Apple ID two step authentication - SMS option not available to receive verification code

    Hi apple community,
    First time poster, so be nice and let me know if this is the wrong forum
    When signing on to my apple ID account, with two step authentication enabled, I am prompted to send a verification code to my device.
    Now, my device was actually replaced under warranty so when attempting to send the verification code, I do not receive anything.
    I have checked Find My Phone is enabled and working.
    As I understand it now, the verification code is sent as a device message so if you replace your device, you have to re-register your new trusted device for apple ID two step authentication.
    When signing in, I do not have the option to send a text message (i.e. an SMS) to my mobile number.
    Has anyone experience this and resolved it? (and yes, Apple Support have tried to help me with no success)

    Ditto.  For whatever reason, my cell cannot receive the SMS code from Apple. I'm located in Mexico - but I've done 2-step authentication in the past without problem.  Phone number triple-checked and accurate.
    And of course, y iPad won't connect to our office WiFi for some reason (stupid D-link routers, apparently)....
    A real pain when I can't log-in to my office iMac to access iCloud mail....

  • Verification Code Doesn't Work

    It's been a while since I checked up on my Best Buy Rewards, so I am trying to get going with the Best Buy account and link my rewards account to it.  According to the website, I would get an e-mail with a verification code.  I received this e-mail within a few minutes, and there is a code in it.
    I have retyped the code many times.  I have copy and pasted the code many times.  Every time, it says this:
    "Sorry, the verification code you entered didn't work. Please check the code we sent and try again."
    Well I don't need to check it again.  It's right in front of my eyes and I know how to read, so It's exactly right the way I put it and tbe way I pasted it.  The page helpfully says to call Best Buy Customer Service if I can't get in, so I did.  The computer attendent helpfully put me on hold for a couple minutes, then told me that their office is closed and hung up.
    When I joined this message board, I received a verification LINK that I clicked, and that worked instantly.  Very frustrating that one Best Buy portal uses a convenient system that works and the other one uses an archaic one that doesn't.  I guess I'm just complaining more than anything because since I have the e-mail and the correct code, the entire system is just broken (for me anyway) and I'm ultimately going to have to call.

  • No receiving email verification code.

    I've been trying to sign into my bestbuy account but havent been able to since I need to enter a verification code. I've checked my spam folder and haven't received anything. Been trying for days, also with password reset, but same thing, never received any emails.  I've also reset my brower history and cookies. This happened before back in november and Ive had a hard time signing on, had to call customer support a few times back then.  Might have something to do with my email, I would like to change me email address if possible

  • Not Receving Verificati​on Code e-mails or Reset Account Password e-mails

    I'm unable to login to my Best Buy account.  When I try to login, I get the message "In order to protect your account, we need to verify your identity before you sign in. We have sent a verification code to your e-mail."  Yet I do not receive the email.  I also tried to do a password reset on my account several times, but I don't get that email either. 
    I tried to submit an e-mail support ticket, and was able to receive a confirmation and reply regarding the issue. In that e-mail they claimed they sent me a reset password e-mail, which I also didn't receive.  I have gone through and checked spam, etc. If it is any help, that reference number is: {removed per forum guidelines}
    I also even created a new best buy account to test with, and I was able to receive a reset password e-mail for that account.  I tried to link it to My Rewards and it says it sent a confirmation e-mail to the other e-mail address (the one I'm having an issue with) for linking and I never received that e-mail.
    I signed up for this forum using that same e-mail and received the confirmation e-mail with no issue.  
    Any help would be appreciated.

    You would think that logging into BestBuy.com to access your My Best Buy™ account would not be that difficult, so I can understand feeling frustrated at this point.  From my experience, using an alternative email address will usually resolve the issue.  If you have already setup a BestBuy.com account with a different email address, then I may just need to make sure your information is up-to-date so that you can link your My Best Buy™ account.
    I will need some additional information from you before I can move forward, so I will be sending you a private message to gather the information I need.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the little yellow envelope icon located at the top of the page.  I look forward to further speaking with you.

    I finally received a verification code (so I can send photos via email) but Adobe is using the incorrect email.
    I've talked to two agents and purchased the upgraded version of Photoshop.

    [email protected] not a server;  It is your email address and you shouldn't be putting it on this public forum because you are making it easy for sppamers to get hold of it and they will send you all sorts of posts including something you don't want to have in your inbox.  Please edit your posts and remove the c***from the address.
    To use Adobe servers, the first thing you need to do is to launch your PSE Organizer and then go to:
    Edit >> Preferences >> sharing
    Now fill out the form exactly as this picture (click on it to get a bigger picture)  EXCEPT put your real name for "Your-Name"
    This is all there is to it.  when the above window is closed after you have clicked OK then click on share Tab on top right corner of the window and follow the online instructions.  You will get the opportunity to request a new verification code as shown in this picture:
    Hope this helps but please post back if you don't understand anything in this post.  I will explain it to you.
    You didn't need to buy new version just for this function.  Also, you don't have to use Adobe Email Service.  You can use your own Email client such as Outlook or Windows Live Mail.  On Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, Thunderbird isn't supported and I have posted a bug on Mozilla website.  hope this gets fixed soon.

    I do not receive my mobile number verification code for SMS. I have tried a numerous times no success. 
    Apparently many of you have problems with the verification code for SMS, can annyone help me with this issue.
    My mobile is a Nokia 5310, Computer is Mac en provider is Telenet (Belgium).

    If you come a few times online in the support network somebody from 'admin' (in my case it was Claudio, no mailaddress, sorry) will sent you a mail telling you that your status has changed from 'new member' to 'occasional visitor'. I have replied to this address explaining my problem and asked to sent it to the person who could help me. 1 day later the problem was solved. Although I didn't receive any reply I still think that a skype employee solved the problem.
