I had restar my phone pressing the on/off button until blackberry symbol appear, also I turn on all the vibrate configurations in Notifications menu, like applications and others but it doesn´t function, somebody can help me please

Thanks for the clarification. The method I have recommended for you is not official, and hence is not technically open for much discussion here (at least not in how I interpret the Ts and Cs of this site). Hence, there is nothing more I can offer you...other than to give you the "hint" to search over on a different site (CB) for further links that may be useful to you.
Given that you only say you can't download, I of course can't truly diagnose your issue, and only can make this guess. For example, if your country, ISP, work, or other entity restricts your access to ALL of these possible sources, there's really nothing I can do about that. But, try searching over at that "other" site and see if anything there can work for your situation.

Text vibrate options?

I have an iPhone 4S OS ver 5.1.1. Is there any way to make the phone vibrate more than once upon an incoming text? I know you can do this through accesability for incoming voice calls but the text vibrate seems to be set to once and once only.

When I do that, it neither vibrates or chimes (even when the silent mode switch is off).

HT201320 I have a new work email that works fine on my iPhone 5. However the tone and vibration do not work on my phone or iPad for this particular account? It is like it is on silent!! All the features are on for tone / vibration and nothing happens!!!

I have a web based new work email account from my Company that is working fairly well on my iPhone 5 and my iPad 4. However no matter what I do in the settings every email that comes in to both device comes in silent with no tone or vibration. Both devices are working fine and my other personal accounts are also working fine with Tones and Vibrations. I do not understand what is going on. I am on a loud Construction site all day and I need to have that working well. Can you help me out?

ps when syncing it jumps through steps 1 - 4 real fast, i seem to remeber iphone showing the number of tracks transferring and names, but i see nothing? then it sits on 5 saying "waiting for changes to be applied"

Everytime my phone vibrates it makes this loud noise from inside that sounds like a weird cracking noise or something help!!

Okay so I noticed a week or two ago that there was something lose on the inside of my iPhone 5s and ever since then when my phone vibrates sometimes there is this weird noise. It sounds almost like a cracking noise from the inside or a weird electrical noise. I think something is wrong with the vibrating part. Does anyone know if this is fixable or what it is?

Disable sound and/or vibration while in Messages app?!

Hi!
I would like to know is there some option in the iOS where I could disable sounds and vibration while I'm using Messages app (app is open and the display is turned ON and I can see the message I recieved). This is very annoying when I'm using iMessages and getting a message every few seconds and then my phone vibrates constantly. It is of course OK if I'm not in Messages app but when I'm already using it I don't need a notification I got a message when I can see it for myself.

I'm having the exact same problem. I get a random text message ding for no discernible reason at least oncer per day. No alerts from apps, no email, no texts, no missed calls, no voicemails. It's not changing connection types between wifi, 3G, and edge. I know that the first gen iPhones sometimes dinged in that situation. If anyone knows what's causing this I would love to hear it.
Just to be clear I'm using a perfectly normal, not jailbroken, iPhone 4 running the latest software version.

Why is my iPhone 5S randomly vibrating?

Since getting my new iPhone 5S a few days ago, it has been continually randomly playing a Ding tone like I was getting an incoming e-mail message. I checked all of my apps and their sounds, and the general sounds, and it appeared that the only app that played a Ding tone is my Mail app for my iCloud.com account. I then changed that Ding tone to be None and now it randomly vibrates rather than playing the Ding tone, so I am pretty sure it is related to the Mail app. I have checked several times when I heard that tone to be sure I had not gotten a new e-mail message and that was not the case.
Is there somewhere I have not looked that would be causing this behavior?

If you wiggle the chord you will see that it goes to green and the lightening bolt appears. When the lightening bolt appears the tone it vibration happens. The reason it happens randomly when you don't wiggle it is because it's getting that connection on its own.
My iPhone 5s just started doing this today. While the phone is unplugged from the USB cable. Attempt a reset on your phone by holding down the power button on the top and the home button on the front together for about 3-5 seconds, the phone should automatically power cycle. In addition attempt to charge with a different chord. If you have a case on your phone that has the flap to cover the charging port when it is unplugged, rove the case to make sure that flap isn't pressing on the charger. Those are the steps that I am following right now. My battery icon is still grey do I continue to search for the next steps. If I find more I will post it here. I hope some of that helps.

IPhone 6 plus alert sounds not working/only vibration works

Sound is not working when I get text messages or other alerts and notifications. Phone only vibrates. I have already checked settings. Even keyboard clicks are not making a noise and under settings it is set to make a noise when clicked

My iphone 5s vibrates so loudly but my friend's iphone 5s vibrates just fine. can anyone tell me if it is any hardware problem?

i have bought an iphone 5s few days ago and i noticed that vibration of my iphone is different from other iphones. my iphone's vibration is so loud and noisy it is kind of rattly noise whenever i recieve a call or a text message, So i checked one of my friend's iphone 5s and it vibrates just fine. can anyone tell me why is it so? is it a hardware problem or what?

Do you have the same vibrate settings as your friend?

I hope I'm on the right place here, I'm new and this is my first post.
So, I received my new iPhone 5s 2 weeks ago.
I do remember that the Vibrate function did once (I don't remember when it stopped working though).
But now it stopped working...
Also, I use ICQ and Skype for voice-calls over 3G
Whenever I use the headphones with builded-in mic, and im on the bike for example and have the phone in my pocket, after ~5min it just disconnect the call...
Which is pretty annoying...
Any1 have solutions?

It seems you are experiencing an issue with contact syncing and management. It seems you've removed an email account which contained a number of contacts that are not associated with your iCloud account. The screen does work though! Through trial and error along side a little troubleshooting, I was able to figure out that the screen will cut on after the phone dies completely. The phone has to die completely with no battery power left. Then if I plug the phone into a charge and wait a while for it to charge, the phone will turn on like nothing was ever even wrong with it. I charge the phone up to like 30% and turn it off then bam the phone turns on but the screen is solid black again.
I am currently in the process of waiting for the phone to die and when I turn the phone back on I am going to completely remove the auto-lock and lock code off of the phone for the time being.
Any other suggestions? Please help!

Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.
Take it to Apple for evaluation and a replacement.

During a two weeks process, little by little I notice my phoe doesn't ring when I get a phone call. So Far I have missed 22 calls that I am aware of. Moreover, the phone does not alert me when I get a text message. Sometimes I receive notice the next day that I received a call or a text message.

Follow the basic troubleshooting steps outlined in the user guide... reset, restore from backup, restore as new.

N95 8GB unlokced , Vibrating alert does not work

I just bought used N95 8 GB from my friend which is locked to a network provider.
My friend took it to shop to unlock service provider (he didn't realise that service provider does it for free), now I tried to test income call vibration but it seems to me it does not work , I tried under Tool > Profile > Create new profile (vibrating on) ,,,,but still there is no vibration when I receive call!!!
I tried "Factory Settings" for the mobile but still same problem
Would unlock be the reason for that (I don't know if vibration was working before unlock) ?
Any other suggestion how to test that ?

Treo Pro No Vibration on any setting

About a week ago my Treo Pro stopped vibrating entirely.The phone will not vibrate when the switch is set to silent, or with ringer on, or for text messages, or during the phone boot up. When it's set to ringer the sound notification works properly.
I've checked all the settings and they are correctly set to vibrate on incoming calls. I just performed a hard reset and went to factory settings and this still did not resolve the issue.
Has anyone else had this issue? Any known solutions?
Should I be requesting an RMA for this?
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If you are having the issue after the hard reset, it looks like the Treo may need to be repaired.
