No video, only Audio in sites like Youtube and Dailymotion. Was perfectly fine earlier.

Video doesn't play in Youtube. Only Audio. It was working fine only until a week ago. Tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox. Tried several other sites like dailymotion and vimeo. However videos in screens.yahoo.com is payed perfectly.
Please help.

I keep getting an alert to download an adobe flash player when on sites like youtube and PBS, where I previously have had no issues.

I keep getting an alert to download an adobe flash player when trying to watch video on youtube or PBS. I have never had any problems and have owned for years. Hoping someone can help me problem solve this & possibly walk me thru the steps ?

My firefox is the most updated version but on certain sites like youtube and live mail, it keeps detecting an older brower. i have reinstalled firefox multiple times but still face the same problem. is there anyway to solve this?

it's currently on version 3.6.13 but I have been facing this problem for months. I tried completely removing firefox from my applications (on my macbook) and reinstalling but the same problem persists, with websites detecting firefox version 2.0 instead of 3.6.

I can't play any web video in any site like Youtube or cnet...etc on iPad mini

Wireless network setup with Microsoft virtual mini-port adapter, since connecting my iPad to the network I can't play any video in Safari in sites like Youtube or cnet...etc. also other Apps that depend on Safari to play videos has the same problem.
I tried my iPhone 5s, the same problem. Both iPad and iPhone has iOS 7.1.1.
The strange thing is that My iPhone 4 iOS v5.1.1 doesn't has the problem with this wireless network.
Anyone had the same problem. Please help.

Hi, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Try deleting Safari's cookies and see if that helps. (This won't cause your bookmarks or favorites to be lost, but you may have to retype your username and password when entering sites.)
While you're deleting cookies, you could also erase all your "Temporary Internet Files" and "History". This will freshen Safari for YouTube. Then shut down or restart.
Apple Safari 3:
→ Edit → Preferences (later versions of Safari have the Preferences under Safari in the Menu Bar)
→ Security (tab) → Show Cookies
→ Remove All → Done
after that:
→ Safari → Empty Cache → Empty
after that:
→ History → Clear History

*** may have found a fix ? *** Thanks to your post re: GDI objects I checked task manager ( added column "GDI objects")and saw 700+ whereas working 6.18 was 160 ish Got thinking - what could possibly use that many GDI objects ( firefox only uses a few hundred and it's a platform ) Then it hit me - emoticons ! So in tools/ options/ IM&SMS/ IM Appearance unchecked "show emoticons"and also unchecked "show images and other media previews"restarted Skype and GDI objects now only 164 ( down from 729 )and all other windows are repainting fine and are usable again( my problem was RDP sessions that became unusable, as I work remotely ) To be sure, have rechecked the options and restarted skype and see 700+GDI objects ( goes up from 660 when place call to echo/sound test )and removed them again to get only 164have also rebooted a few times and gone through the whole processof unchecking emoticons, restart, rechecking emoticons, restart to make sure itsnot a fluke. pretty sure this has fixed it for me ( so I now have a working 7.6.0.105 on XP SP3 ),and as your problem "sounds" the same I hope it also works for you. I'm having similar issues, if I try and play video via the iPad 2 Videos app I only get sound on the ATV2, video is played on the iPad 2. Maybe I'm missing something because I can get the same videos playing on the apple tv via the atv2 menus and if I use the apple remote app no problems as well. Maybe I'm missing something here?
Video/Audio works using safari YouTube and iPad YouTube also apple remote app. As far as I can make out it seems an issues using the iPod App which links into the iPad Videos App, same issue if I use the iPad Videos App.
BTW if I try and play shared video using the iPod app on my iPhone same problem. I'm wondering if there is an issue with iOS 4.3.2 update. Apple TV did not get the update ?

Atv2,atv3 iphone5 ipad2 airport extreme base station. NO video only audio.

I have an atv2 and atv3 on an AirPort Extreme base wifi network. All devices with latest software. I can play audio, show pictures, and play videos from iTunes (preview videos) on all devices. When I buy a video from iTunes, play the video and press the airplay button i only have audio and a small badge of the video in the bottom left corner but no video. Also no YouTube videos only audio. Am running QuickTime stand alone on my PC with Windows XP Home 2002. For some reason the .mov files that were created with my digital camera will not play video (only audio) on this computer. The files seem to play fine on other computers. Have also found out that I can play downloand or streamed videos (only audio).
Can't figure out why video won't play. Other video formats (.avi for example) play fine through Windows Player.
Any insight? . . . anyone?
