No video working in any browser
The videos were working fine two days before but now, I can't watch any video. I have tried everything - uninstalling and reinstalling flash, disabling hardware accelerator, deleting flash cache, restoring my laptop to previous points, installing various browsers and then getting other specific required versions of flash for them and I even tried to update the drivers. I have been reading a lot of forums and blogs but nothing works, just nothing.
Initially, I was getting a black screen, the videos just wouldn't load. When I right clicked the video, it said "movie not loaded" and about flash player 11.7.700.179. I installed an older version too and now in plugins there are two flash players. If I disable latest one, videos say "get latest flash player" and if I disable older one, chrome says "unable to load shockwave flash". This started happening after I tried to uninstall flash player as told on adobe's other forum. Uninstalling doesn't remove flash even when I'm going word to word.
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html
On this page, the movie box doesn't display anything for me - neither movie nor error message and there is no solution for this 3rd case which is happening to me. Also, version box is not showing anything either. How can it just stop working like that? I'm totally frustated. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
I am using Windows 7 Home Basic, Chrome version: 26.0.1410.64, Plug-In version:11.7.700.179. Any kind of help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Not sure. My best guesses are that something corrupt with the registry associated with your user account, with application config files associated with your user account, or this is a self-inflicted problem, and you've installed some software or modified some advanced user settings that are only in play on your affected user account.
Depending on your level of paranoia, I'd make a good backup of your important stuff -- just in case, then either migrate over to the new user account, try and clean up the existing account (which is probably more trouble than it's worth), or blow the machine away and start over (if you suspect malware is in play).

Flash Player 10.1 says it's installed but NO videos work in any browser!
I have spent the last 3 hours trying to get this to work but to no avail. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium with CA Security Suite. I have IE8 and Firefox and neither will allow me to play videos from any site. I've disabled the firewall. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I've downloaded the stand alone instead of using the stupid download manager. I've done everything under the sun but IT STILL DOESN'T WORK! I never had this problem until FP 10.1 was installed. Not sure what else to do and honestly would just like to find somewhere where I can download the old version of FP I had as this one is a fail.

I don't know what you mean by that - it is impossible to know what your problem is if you don't describe the symptoms.
Various problems with the new Flash Player can be fixed by
disabling hardware acceleration (Flash Player Settings);
updating the device drivers for your graphics/video/display adapter.
If you want to go back to a previous FP version, you first need to uninstall the current version (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html), then download, extract, and install the archived version of your choice (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html). -

How to make my javascript work in any browser
Hai all, i am developing a webapplication using servlets and jsp. The problem with this application is that it works fine in internet explorer but it doesn't run when it comes to mozilla firefox or any other browser. I think the problem is with java script. Am i right? Or will it relate to any other problem? Please tell me the solution for this problem. What should i do to make my java script work in any browser? Thanks in advance......
hello,
the very first thing is the html console always look the one which you have posted here.it tells that server is started.
directory structure is also ok.
wi think the problem lies in the html file. After defining applet class you have to specify the jar file of your appletin the mannerarchive = "yourapplet.jar" have you any libraries with your applet? if yes then you have to include it in archive information
i would like to know when you run this application does internet explorer opens if yes then can you tell me the error it is giving -
Flash not working in any browser for one user login
Hello,
I recently got my macbook pro back from repair with a new logic board, and all of a sudden Flash doesn't seem to work in any browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) for my main user login. It crashes nearly every time - in Safari it just won't load any Flash content and the activity window gives an error, and in Chrome it pops up a "Flash has crashed" warning.
I made a new user account, and Flash works perfectly well in all browsers under that login (and the guest login). This leads me to believe it must be a broken file in my user Library, but I can't figure out which one it would be.
I don't imagine this to be related to my new logic board, but I thought I'd mention that anyway. I also updated Safari to 5.1.1, which is more likely to be a cause?
I'm running OS 10.6.8, Macbook Pro 2.53ghz. Browsers are Chrome 14.0.835.202, Safari 5.1.1, Firefox 5.0.1. Flash plugin version 11.0.1.152.
I've uninstalled Flash, repaired preferences, reinstalled Flash, re-repared preferences, rebooted, all of those standard tricks, no dice.
Any support would be appreciated, I'd rather not have to migrate everything over to a new user account!I have exactly the same problem that you have with my Mac Pro (10.7.2). At first there was only one site that was broken (I didn't pay any attention to that then), now I have found 3 different sites and sometimes problems e.g. in Youtube and other similar sites.
The broken ones are NHL Vault, Soundcloud music-plugin and RAY (browser poker client). Many other sites works just fine.
I suspect some kind of write issue to some of the flash storage/temp/cache folders but cannot resolve any further.
UPDATE: Wow, now it works! I did the above mentioned Flush-trick (manually deleted .sol files and their parent folders) and also deleted everything inside path: user/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/#Security/FlashPlayerTrust/
Strange is that in any of those folder I didn't find any sign to Soundcloud and Ray, only NHL - and now all those are working. -

Javascript not working in any browser.
Javascript has stopped working in any browser. Javascript is turned on in all browsers preferences. I have repaired disk permisions. An example of it not working is trying to view a BBC iplayer program online. When trying to play a program I get the message;
"To play or download (the program) - you need to enable JavaScript".
Infact none of the other iplayer website functions work either. I'm not sure if javascript isn't working on other websites as I'm not sure how to tell. This has been like this for quite some time and I've not found any solutions searching on the net.
Thanks

Flash Player not working on any browser. (Video's keep loading forever)
Hello everyone!
I've been having problems with my Flash Player for about a week now and I just can't seem to find a solution that works.
I'm not sure when the last update was, but I assume that could have caused my problems somehow. It used to work properly before.
I now have Adobe Flash Player version 16.0.0.235.
The browser I use is: Google Chrome.
I use Windows 8 x64.
I also tried Firefox and Internet Explorer to see if I can watch video's there, but they don't work there either. The video's just keep loading no matter what I do.
Strangely enough today one video suddenly started to play itself after about..5 minutes. But when I tried to watch other video's after that happened, it didn't seem to work anymore.
The first day I installed Firefox I could just watch video's without any problems as well. But after that, It didn't work anymore either. It worked for just one day.
YouTube video's work properly, though. So do Facebook games, GIF's and such.
I only can't watch video's on other websites. ( For example: AnimeHaven ) My friends have no problems watching these video's.
I have no idea what could be the cause of these problems and I hope someone can help me fix this.
I tried everything I could find on the internet so far.Yeah, it's probably not a driver thing. If you haven't rebooted already, definitely do that. It might just be that the graphics hardware is in a bad state.
The last thing we shipped was December 9th, so it's not like Flash Player changed. If these symptoms just started recently, it seems unlikely that a recent change to Flash is the root-cause. It's possible that Chrome might have pushed a change since then, but I talked to the Chrome guys yesterday and they didn't mention anything about a widespread video playback problem. They have really excellent telemetry, so they usually know pretty quickly when things break.
It might be that your Chrome install is somehow damaged, and you could do a complete uninstall/reinstall of Chrome to see if the issue goes away. You can also disable hardware acceleration in Chrome itself (it's under Preferences > Advanced > System > Use hardware acceleration if available) to see if that helps.
Is the issue isolated to a specific video or video site/sites? Does it happen in either Internet Explorer or Firefox (they're both significantly different copies of Flash Player, which would be an interesting data point)? -
Flash Player won't work on any browser! Help!
Hi!
I can't get any videos to play in any browser (Internet explorer, Chrome or Firefox). I can only play videos from Youtube and Netflix but no other videos or rich media content works.
I have literally tried everything that is recommended on the Flash Player Help page.
I've updated and re-installed Flash Player a million times.
I've updated and re-installed all my web browsers.
I enabled and disabled Active-X.
I enabled Flash Player on Chrome through chrome://plugins
I disabled background apps.
I turned off my firewall.
I checked for viruses.
And I googled the problem on a ton of other sites, followed other users' instructions to fix the issue, and still no luck.
This is my system:
Windows 8
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3317U CPU @ 1.7GHz 1.70GHz
64-bit Operating System x64 based processor.
I need Flash Player to do assignments online and I haven't been able to do them all week. Please help ASAP!
Thank you!As above, have gone through a number of browsers and tried all of the fixes listed on any webpage I can find. Always the same outcome, video plays for a few minutes (occasionally seconds) and then green screen/jumbled audio
Have tried Chrome, IE, Firefox and Opera, all with the same results.
Laptop is brand spanking new, out of the box less than two days, so far I've only installed the latest Nvidia drivers 347.09 and Avast.
System is:
Asus ROG G751JT
Windows 8.1 (fully updated)

Flash Player not working in any browser.
I am running Windows 7 x64 and have no pending windows updates.
When I go to:
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html
I can see the two indicators that tell me that I have Flash installed.
I recently got my motherboard back from an RMA and installed an extra GPU and a new PSU (running an HD 6850 and HD 6870 in CrossfireX). Ever since the upgrade, flash player has crashed any time I try to view a youtube video in any browser, or any time I've tried to log into League of Legends (Which I believe runs on Adobe Air). I have tried updating my graphics drivers and also reverting them to older drivers, as well as updating flash/air and reverting them as well. I have also gone into Chrome://plugins and disabled/enabled in almost every combination possible - to no avail.
Any help? The HTML5 video loaded perfectly and even worked every single time when I refreshed. The non-HTML5 video didn't work no matter how many times I tried again.
Also, I had LoLReplay the first time I tried, and then reinstalled windows completely (was about time for a fresh start anyways) and have not reinstalled LoLReplay but I'm still having the same problem.
I will update this post with my DXdiag information shortly.
EDIT:
Also, I have tried disabling/enabling hardware acceleration and it seems to make no difference. I have tried disabling CrossfireX or using just one or the other of the graphics cards as well but that seems to make no difference as well

YouTube won't work in any browser
So I'm running 10.6.7 on my Mac and YouTube just doesn't work in any capacity, on the page itself (which doesn't load properly and seems to ignore that I have Flash and/or Java) or embedded. No, wait! I just spontaneously got two embedded videos to work, which is the first time in days. Before now, I wouldn't even see them on pages; there would just be a big blank space.
I've made sure I've got all the updates. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Java and Flash. I dumped the "preferences" folder in Macromedia/Flash. I've rebooted a few times. I've opened Safari in 32-bit mode. I've tried to open YouTube in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Opera. And guess what? Not a single of these things has worked.
It seems unrelated to my connection because YouTube is working properly on the PCs in the house. Also, video sites like vimeo are working for me, so it doesn't seem to be a Flash problem, though like I said I reinstalled it anyway.
Possibly related is the fact that a lot of images embedded on webpages appear broken or dead to me, even though I've verified with a bunch of other people that they're working. The same applies when it comes to working across browsers--those images don't appear even if I open the same page up in Safari.
I just plain can't figure out what to do anymore. I've run out of things to Google. Any suggestions? No, nothing changes. It reloads still telling me to join. I tried it in the latest Safari as well, but no dice. My default browser is Chrome, but I've been trying everything that doesn't work in Chrome in Safari because I might as well, right?
I mean clearly it's an issue with my Mac, because if it were just a browser thing, YouTube would be working in other browsers, and if it were a YouTube thing it'd be happening to everyone else, and if it were a connection thing it'd be happening to everyone else on my connection, but it's not so it must be my Mac but then...you know...what is it? Apart from YouTube and the weird images thing, which seems to be a recent development, I haven't noticed any other symptoms.
But the YouTube page won't even load properly for me all the way. It's not limited to the video, it's the entire page refusing to load any images or anything other than plain text. Except, bizarrely, the login page, which looks just fine. -
No flash videos playing in any browser
I am having this issue for over a month or two now, i can't play any videos on any browser, i tried firefox, then IE , then chrome, i re-installed all of them, updated flash, updated real player, downgraded flash , cleared browsing history, disable hardware acceleration, everything that i could do, but didnt get the issue solved, whenever i open a video on youtube or even dailymotion, the browser would start browsing but then everything would stop and i'd see a black screen , and when i right click on the video , instead of the usual drop down menu of flash... i get other menu with options like " inspect element" , "save" etc. please anyone could help ??? btw i have windows x.p , FF 17.0.1, flash 11.5 updated java, installed real player and updated it too ...,
Thanks for your reply Pat , i followed your post to see if the device drivers needed to be updated, i downloaded the drivers from the SIS site and updated my drivers, but the problem still persisted. The worse thing is that i've not tried all these solutions on one single pc , i've tried on my pc , then i've also tried on 3 different computers at my workplace as well and all show the same problem.
Then you said about Real Player, i had installed real player coz i saw in some posts that updated real player also solves problem in some cases. But now after your reply , i disabled all real addons and tried but no solution still.
Here i'm including 3 screenshots , first is from Dailymotion.com (a random video from their front page) , the problem on this site is that when i right click on the video i do not see the flash dropdown menu here , and another thing is the text just below the video , i always see this text overlapping its never arranged as it should be in the website.
2ndly , here's the screenshot of the front page of youtube.com, when i open the front page , i can't see the static image of the video in thumbnails , it's written "thumbnail" instead .
and when i open any video on youtube , when i right click here, i do see the flash drop down menu but the video never plays. here's the screenshot.
so any solutions now ??? -
Flash not working with any browser after update
After an update, flash videos will not stream in any browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari). I did a clean install of flash and the browsers, but to no avail. Mac 10.10.2. Has anyone else experienced this?
Sadly doing that did not fix my problem either. I just tried doing that and uninstalling flash player, rebooting and then reinstalling flash and I am still having the same problem as I stated here. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4014843#4014843
I have checked that flash is enabled
Unchecked hardware accerleration
Set in the internet options to use software rendering
Tried updating my drivers (it tells me my drivers are up to date, in any case I have only had this laptop since July)
I even tried deleting cookies, though I use IE9 instead of firefox so I just deleted them all instead of just the one for youtube, I honestly can not find the folder for cookies anyway with this windows 7 and how it is set up to try and delete the one cookie.
I am really at a loss as to what to do. -
Flash doesn't work on any browser since 11.9 update.
I updated to 11.9. Since having done so, I can't get flash to work with any of my browsers (IE, Chrome, Chromium, Firefox or Opera). I am using Windows 8. In Firefox, I get the prompt to continue waiting for the plugin to work or cancel the plugin. I reset Firefox, as I've seen suggested in other threads, with no luck. I've tried the beta version also with no luck. I tried in both the latest versions of Firefox and Nightly to no affect. On Chrome, I can get video but no audio. I used Adobe's uninstaller to uninstall flash completely and re-installed flash. No luck. Any way I can dowload the older version of Flash? That worked and this version doesn't. Seriously affecting my ability to surf the web.
For IE, can you try the steps outlined here?
Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer
ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer
For Chrome, please navigate to "about:flash" and paste the contents displayed
For Firefox, please navigate to "about:plugins" and again paste the contents of this page -
Several websites not working in any browser.
I have a problem with browsing certain websites on my mac. They are mainly transport websites including nationalrail.co.uk, and tfl.gov.uk. After I put the details of my journey onto the journey planner and hit search, it times out.
I have tried firefox, and opera as well as safari - still doesn't work. I've tried a different internet connection (a friends connection, an internet cafe, and a 3 mobile broadband connection), still doesn't work. My pc laptop using the same connection is able to use the sites fine. I used hidemyass.com a free proxy, on my mac and i was able to use the site properly.I'm aware of what my MAC address is, cheers though. I'm using the computer fine for the most part, in fact I am using it to type this message. Its connected through a router at home, whatever the basic 4 port netgear wireless one, but that is not the issue, as the same problem occurs with my 3 mobile wireless broadband, or at internet cafe's. Its an issue with the computer, no the network i'm connecting too!
The list of sites that I normally use that aren't working at the moment now include:
www.reed.co.uk
www.concept2.com
www.nationrail.co.uk
To summarise, they don't work on Safari, Firefox or Opera, or within Parallels. They work fine on my pc laptop which connects to the same router. They don't work on any connection, including at home via wired or wireless conection, via an internet cafe across the road, or via my 3 mobile, 3g mobile broadband.
If I use a free web proxy, I am able to access them.
Any further suggestions? Or is it format time?
