No voice on tracks. Please help
Hello community.
I have the strangest problem when I'm playing music.
I have an iphone 2g 16 Gb, and since I update (long time ago) to firmware 3.0, all the music I play has the same error: NO VOICE ON TRACKS.
It sounds like a Karaoke.
When I play through speaker it sounds normal, so the issue is related to the audio jack. (I've tried different kinds of headphones and still no luck).
I've found in this forum that other people has the same problem. Is it a hardware problem?
Does anyone solved it?

It could be a hardware problem, but more likely is caused by the headset jack not being fully inserted. Make sure you insert it until you feel and hear a click, especially if using a case.

As already stated by Chris and I you can only track your phone if you had findmyiphone enabled in icloud settings.
Then you can log into icloud.com and use the find my iphone app.
Since you said you don't have internet, then you can't track it. -
itunes asked me if iwanted to erase all my files on my iphone when i connected it to my second computer.
i clicked yes
and all of my very important voice memos were deleted
however none of my photos were deleted...... and they count as files don't they?
anyway i need help on how to retrieve deleted voice memos
PLEASE HELP!!!You should never try to sync your phone with more than one computer or you will lose your data. The pictures were not deleted because the sync process does not touch Camera Roll pictures (it only includes them during the backup step of the sync process).
If you had these voice memos on your phone when you last synced it to your first computer, and if you haven't synced to this computer since then, you could restore from the backup created during your last sync. This will replace the data on your phone with the data from this older backup so anything new will be lost. If you think that is the case, do not sync your phone again to the first computer prior to restoring from this backup or you will overwrite it and the backup will be lost. Instead, prior to connecting your phone to your first computer, open iTunes and disable automatic syncing by going to iTunes Preferences and on the Devices tab checking "Prevent...from syncing automatically". Then connect your phone and when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar right-click on its name and select Restore From Backup and choose your last backup (containing your voice memos).
If you didn't have these voice memos on your phone when you last synced to your first computer, or if you have synced again to your first computer since losing your data, then your voice memos and other data are lost. -
Brand New Mighty Mouse does everything but track please help

Scroll ball works fine...
Right and left click are a go....
but it will not track, at all, not an inch
have had this less than two months and only have used it a few times
I reset my SMC and my PRAM still nothing
I changed the batteries
tried it on a white piece of paper
please help
also when its paired, the "bluetooth" pane of Keyboard/mice with the battery level meters is blank.

I want to be sure we are on the same page. Go to system preferences>Bluetooth. Is the only entry your mouse? Go to system preferences>keyboard & mouse>bluetooth. Is your mouse the only entry?
If that all appears normal, try a couple of things (I am fishing a bit):
Go to your home folder (~library>preferences) and trash:
com.apple.systempreferences.plist
com.apple.bezelservices.plist
Then go to MacintoshHD>library>preferences and trash:
com.apple.bezelservices.plist
Then restart and see if that helps.
Next, I would reset the PRAM:

Cronic voice dialing problem, PLEASE help
Hey everyone,
I'm new to posting on these forums but have been browsing for about two weeks. I recently got a Curve 8330 and loved it until this problem arose. I have researched it and cannot find a solution, and it is really starting to drive me crazy. I hope someone can help, and I would be very grateful.
Anyway, I have a Seidio Extended Battery, and a 16 gig microSD card in the phone, but I don't think either one has anything to do with the problem (it still occurs with them removed). A lot of times when the phone is idle or I am trying to make a call, the voice dialing screen pops up. At the top it says Voice Dialing, under that it says "Say a command", and then it says Listening. I believe this is the regular voice dialing screen. However, I do NOT want to use voice dialing at all. I have the side convenience keys set to lock and camera, so it does not have to do with them. This screen randomly pops up and repeats itself over and over to the point where I must remove the battery and reload. A few minutes later, it happens again. Also, when this screen is up and I'm in the middle of the call, I cannot hear the opposite party which causes further issues.
Does anyone else have this problem and/or a solution? Is there a way I can just eliminate voice dialing altogether from the phone? This thing is driving me nuts and ruining an otherwise fantastic piece of technology. Thank you very much for your responses!

I have reinstalled the software back to the factory specs and this worked for a week or so. I have also pulled battery, changed side buttons, etc and nothing has seemed to actually fix the problem...all just patches. I have already had the motherboard replaced in this phone once and now this. I have only had the phone for maybe 2 months! Thank you for your input.

Did you purchase the device in a Verizon store? Did they activate it for you? If you purchased it and had it shipped to you, have you been able to activate the device? Do you know how to turn it on/off? What woman's voice are you talking about? Is it Google Now? Have you read through the owner's manual?...
There are so many questions and your description of your problem is so vague that no one would be able to help you without more specifics on what problem you are having. It is not that people don't know any more than you, it is that we don't know WHAT problem you are having. If you were having a problem with turning on the device, we could tell you how. If you were having a problem with initiating a phone call, we could tell you how. If you were having a problem with turning on/off Google Now, we could tell you how. Of course all of these answers would be available in your owner's manual.
My suggestion would be to sign up for one of the free clinics Verizon offers on smartphones. I am guessing that it would be immensely helpful. Another place to start would be to go to the Moto X device page and click on "HOW TO USE THIS DEVICE". It may at least get you started. -

My iPhone 4 will not sync my new voice memos from the "Voice Memos" app to my computer. This is frustrating, should not be so hard, can someone please help. I use PC with windows 7 with iPhone version 6.1.3 and iTunes most recent. Thanks.
In the Music tab of iTunes, do you have 'Include Voice Memos' checked?

Hi there,
I've just installed ios 7.0.6 on my iphone 4 and now lost voice on outgoing and incoming calls.It rings on incoming and I'm told rings on the recipient's 'phone, but then no vocal communication...its just dead. My simm is ok, i've checked it, I've done a full clean and restore of the 'phone. Still no calls.
I've not caused any physical or water damage to the 'phone. I would welcome any help/suggestions to get my calls back asap.

Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
Also consider deleting and reinstalling the Mail Account in question. -
My Apple TV 1st gen will now no longer play any of our iTunes music, although it shows a speaker symbol when you select play on the track. Please help?
Are you streaming or syncing you music? Sounds like you're streaming music directly from iTunes.
There can be many different issues. First, try power-cycling you wireless router (leave router disconnected for about 1 or 2 minutes) to refresh the wireless communication betweek both devices.
Make sure all software updates have been installed, for Apple TV and iTunes. -
ITunes can't find my tracks - please please help, DJ in need to urgent fix!
iTunes cannot find my tracks which have been working fine on my external HDD for a long time. Basically today I have tried to move my library from one external HD to another (due to portability issues) I changed my iTunes media folder location in the preferences to the new drive, and then consolidated my library in order to copy all of the tracks...when I opened up the new library on the new HDD the files could not be found. So I simply decided to change the media folder library back to its old location again so that I could just load up my initial library and go about copying my library in a different way... however, when I went back to the old library location which should not have changed at all, it was also unable to find 99% of the files!
Please help. I cannot recreate my library from scratch as I have 10000 tracks, most of which which are all sorted out into different playlists ready for DJing. The tracks are still on the HDD and I can find them individually, but this is obviously out of the question for such a large library of tracks. Please can someone enlighten me as to how can I relocate them without reconstructing the library?? The original folder was still the H drive because I was trying to move from one exHD to another (one which is much more portable) Also the media folder location definitely shows the correct location of all the tracks. The new library did not work properly so I went back to my old drive in order to try again and follow a guide online so that it would 100% work correctly. However, when going back to the old drive I experienced the problems, so now my main (old) library is not working.
I think the problem lies somewhere along these lines - If you look at the picture closely you can see that the tracks file name is different for some reason before and after manual relocation...
So in the picture above it's originally trying to find the file "02 Serial Killa" and failing. However, after manual location it has realised the file is called "B Shackles - Serial Killa" so for some reason its searching for the wrong filename (I think!?)

i just bought brand new MacBook Pro 2.16 with an extra Giga in RAM (2.0)...
I use Garageband 3.0.4 (and no other application running) and im making a project with 4 very simple tracks (no effects and plug-ins). When i run the project for the first time i always get a message saying that im using a lot of software tracks! (its impossible, im sure is not a matter of number of tracks, nor a power issue). I have the buffer size at the highest level...
should i re-install mac-os x?

Most don't use GarageBand. DJ would use DJ software, and a musician might use GB as his synth, but not many people would do what you're trying with GB.

Blame GB rather than the Mac, for all its eye candy and ease of use, it is a resource hog.

Actually I've seen this question posted many time, so others do have similar probs. Unfortunately it's really impossible to guess why one person has trouble and another doesn't. I was doing 12 tracks easy, with half your machine (but en external drive). I've seen posts where people complain that they can't record 1 track without an error. Without having the machine in front of me, it's just not possible to guess why B-(>

I doubt an reinstall would help. You might try running your Activity Monitor app to see what processes are running and using what resources.

Since you have already done some sort of reset on your Airport Express, you might as well make sure it was a "hard reset" - follow the instructions for a hard reset found at:

Since your Mac is running Leopard, you need to configure the Airport Express using the Airport Utility found in the Applictions->Utilities folder. You cannot install the old software that was supplied on the CD you got with the Airport Express.
In future - if you do something bad with network settings on your Mac, do NOT try to fix it with the Airport Utility. The Airport Utility is only used to configure the Airport Express - and since the problem you have created is on the Mac and not the Airport Express, there is no need to be using the Airport Utility and especially there is no need to be resetting the Airport Express. -
